PAKISTANI DEMONSTRATORS TRY TO CLOSE DOWN

AIR BASE IN JACOBABAD
March 23. Thousands of Pakistanis
converged on the U.S. air base in
Jacobabad, Pakistan given to the U.S. by
CIA
agent General Musharref. The
demonstrators were met by a large police force
and were gradually forced them
back into the city center. They condemned the
U.S. attacks in Iraq and
Afghanistan
and called for immediate removal of
the base by peaceful means.

BAHRAINI DEMONSTRATORS TRY TO CLOSE DOWN U.S.

Bahrain has seen daily demonstrations
against the U.S. and
Israel
during the last five days. On March 24, the
demonstrators marched on the U.S.
base in Manama. They are said to have exploded a
propane tank near the base.

HAMMAD ABDUR-RAHEEM: ISLAMIC ACTIVIST in VIRGINIA
FACING FBI INTIMIDATION

Br. Hammad Abdur-Raheem is a well-known
Islamic activist in the
Falls Church, Virginia area. He is a long time
supporter of
Jamaat al-Muslimeen
and helps just about all human
rights activity and anti-war
demonstration. He is African-American but an
internationalist, married to an
Indonesian
sister and did the Hajj last month.
On March 24 he was visited by two FBI
officers who interrogated him for
two and a half hours. Looks like they had been
following him around and
taking photos of all his activities. In this
obvious violation of his rights
as a citizen of this great country, they are
trying to get him to provide
information about all the Muslims he knows.
Advice: Dear Muslims, you should know
that the FBI has no right to
investigate you if you have not violated a law.
As soon as the FBI talk to
you, give them your basic information and then
demand an attorney. Tell them
that anything you say after having been denied an
attorney is under duress
and a violation of your rights.

interrogation, one very interesting item:
the FBI officers wanted to know, why Br. Hammad
had helped trace out the
route for the demonstration in support of the
rights of John Walker Lindh.
