Pakistan's Shame: Musharraf Addresses AJC

On September 18, 2005 Pakistani coup leader General Musharraf
addressed a fervently pro-Israeli rally of Jews organized by
the American Jewish Congress [AJC] in New York. Musharraf
claimed that "Pakistan has no direct conflict or dispute
with Israel" and promised to extend formal recognition to
Israel when the "opportunity" presents itself.
Musharraf was dressed expensively in American suit and tie,
looking like an American playboy rather than the president
of a Muslim country. The Jews were ecstatic with his views
and got up six times to cheer him and finally gave him a
standing ovation.
Musharraf made it plain that he is a friend of Israel
walking in the path of Bush. However to cool Pakistanis
down, he wants Israel to set up a puppet Palestinian
state before formal relations are established.
Jack Rosen, chairman of the AJC, let the cat out
of the bag when he revealed that the Jews had been
working with Israel and the Bush administration to
bring Musharraf to this meeting for THREE years. So
this was a well-planned move.
Rosen insulted the Muslims fighting against Israel
by saying that they are "terrorists" and should not
be called mujahids or martyrs. He claimed that
Musharraf is a true representative of the Muslim world.
Musharraf too divided the fighters for Islam into two groups:
"Terrorists" [mujahidin] who must be wiped out, and "extremists"
[those who demonstrate peacefully and pray to Allah] who must
be educated and infiltrated from inside.

The Islamic response to Musharraf came from
Syed Munawar Hasan, Secretary General of Jamaate Islami.
Addressing a large gathering in Karachi, Pakistan, at
the inuauguration of Jamia mosque Huzaifa [r.a] in the
Gulshan-e-Maimar township, he said:

There is no legitimate state by the name of Israel.
Palestinian territory is being illegally given this
name. He said that Israel is not a political issue
which can be negotiated. It is an Islamic faith
issue which concerns the entire Muslim ummah. Israel
is being imposed on us, he said, and asked: why don't
the U.S., or Canada or European countries set up the
Jewish state on their lands?

We will never accept the Musharraf government's
policies about Israel, Br. Hasan concluded.

"Election" Drama in Afghanistan Flops
New Trend's investigation of the September 18
"elections" uncovered the following facts:
-
U.S. sources admit that out of the people who registered
for the voting, basically Shi'ites from Hazara, Uzbeks
in the north and the supporters of Prof. Rabbani in the
northeast and of Ismail in Herat, only 30% voted.

80 to 90% of the Pashtun majority did not vote.
-
In Helmand province, no one bothered to set up a
polling booth. In Oruzgan province, three polling
stations were burned down. In other Pashtun provinces,
elections were held in the form of America's paid
people lining up to vote, under the strictest
security arrangements. [Tanks on the ground,
helicopter gunships overhead.] More than
30,000 NATO-U.S. forces and thousands of Afghan
mercenaries were brought in to impose the voting.

There were numerous Taliban raids on the day of the
elections. The Taliban carried out attacks in the
provinces of Kunar, Laghman, Logar, Oruzgan, Zabul,
Ghazni, Wardak, Kabul, Nimruz, Khost and Paktia.

Scores of police working for Karzai, as well as a few
U.S. troops and a French commando officer were killed
in the fighting. A few Taliban were also killed. No
civilians were targeted.

General Musharraf's troops sealed off the border
and arrested dozens of Muslims in North Waziristan
but were unable to stop the Taliban attacks.

The Afghan people supported the Taliban call to boycott
the elections. The U.S. now says that it will take SIXTEEN
days to count the votes although the ballot boxes are
being moved by helicopter. A large scale election fraud
seems to be underway.

Taliban spokesman Mufti Lateef Hakimi told Pakistani
media by satellite phone that the "elections" are
meaningless for the Islamic people of Afghanistan.
These "elections" violate the Sharia and are meant to
give sustenance to the puppet American regime, he said.
He added that Mullah Umar is alive and well as is his
entire leadership council and are in secure areas of Afghanistan.

"Salam Al-Marayati, executive director of the
Muslim Public Affairs Council in Los Angeles, said
he worries that some inmates are forming radical groups
and "putting a veneer on it and calling it Islam."

was not real? What about Imam Jamil? What about
Dr. Omar 'Abdel Rahman? What about Siddique Abdullah Hasan?
Let us know Al-Maryati when was the last time you went into
prison and discovered the "veneer" which is not Islam!
Many Muslims in U.S. prisons could teach Al-Maryati what
Islam is all about.

Islamic Woman Activist Says:
Amina Wadud Protests but She did not Address the Issue
[See previous issue of New Trend.]
Regarding the letter of Amina Wadud, she spoke against
the "finger pointing," but she did not respond to the
issue, I think. Isn't this the sister who decided that
she could lead the congregation in prayer? By the way,
were there men in that congregation?
Anyway, Dr. Wadud did not address the main issue. In
this country, many women, Muslim and non-Muslim, must
do the same things that she, alone, must do to take care
of their children and the majority with much less money.
Her life as the leader of her household and family
was and is not the issue.
Perhaps, the next time, she could respond to the true
issue. She will have to respond to it on the Day of Judgment,
so, why not do it now?

A Prominent Imam Warns Muslims
Expect more Shock and Awe from Allah.
My tears dried up when I "saw" my people hanging from
trees by the road. There are only three levels of faith.
[4th level is kufr.]
Dear Believers
I've been very busy changing things with my heart. Prophet
Muhammad said we can change things with our hearts and our
heart is the weakest of faith. (but it works al humdiullilah).
I have been unable to raise an army and change things with my
hands. When I went to the next stage and tried to change
things with my mouth I found out the truth of the
Muslim community in America.
The leadership is weak, afraid, fat, soft, and sometimes
corrupted and agents of the enemies of Allah. They are
ineffective and often a danger to the ummah. The Muslim
leaders of the majlis shuurah, Imams, Muslim Chaplains
acting as government agents, and Muslim organization heads
need to evacuate. They should evacuate now because more
devastation is coming. A bad wind is coming to blow on them.
I was asked to cry for the dead and dying in
Britain and the dead and dying from 9-11.
I told one of my colleagues who is a good Imam (weak
but with good intentions): My tears dried up some 300
years ago when I saw my people hanging from trees along
the roadside. My tears dried up when my people suffered
every kind of indecency and inhumanity ever suffered by a
people. I only have tears of joy left. I told him
I had embraced a new religion.
Actually it is an old religion but it is new to us in
these times. It is the Deen of Islam. It is the Deen as
practiced by Prophet Muhammad. I told him we should not
be crying: we should be thankful at all that is happening.
He asked me to provide him with the daleel from Qur'an
and authentic hadeeth that would support my posture.
Here is the dalil: First, all that is happening was written
50,000 years before the creation of earth as we know in the
Kitab called Al Lauh Al Mahfuz. It is all the Qadr of Allah.
57:22 When it happens we merely say ma'sha'llah. Allah says
no calamity shall befall mankind except by His Will and it is written.
Allah says our Deen (religion) is a social affair. We practice
a religion of war and peace. We practice a religion that is
the final revealed order and command of the CREATOR. He wants
the creation to be according to his plan. So He orders the
hearts of the Believers to believe and act in a certain manner.
He tells us the jihad (Holy fighting) is divinely ordained.
(2:216).
Allah tells us how to judge and witness natural occurrences
and human occurrences. Allah tells us to fight so that Allah
will punish them (enemies) by your hands and disgrace them
and give you (Muslims) victory and heal the breasts of a
believing people.
(9:14)
First we have to understand that the Qur'an is immutable,
multi-dimensional and has meaning for all time; past,
present, and future. We Muslims are told not to love this
world's favors, rewards, and dwellings and fear their loss
more than we love jihad fisabeelillahi. (9:24). We are told
to fight the disbelievers until there is no more fitna (2:190-2).
We are told that fitna (oppression, torture, evil subjection,
etc.) is worse than killing, so we must fight against it
(2:217). We are told to fight in the way of Allah 2:244).
We love Allah so much that we are willing to sacrifice
everything to be in His favor. "Allah favors those who
fight with their wealth and lives (4:84)
The Prophet (saws) is told not to protect those who do not
join the battle (8:72). We are told not to obey the
disbelievers. When we live in a society that is based on
non-Muslim beliefs and non-Muslim lifestyles we should only
be here for da'wah and jihad (3:149). Muslims are told to
fight the Mushrikun collectively (9:36). When asked how to
fight and change things that are wrong we are told by the
Messenger of Allah in authentic hadeeth to change wrongs
with hands, tongue, and hearts.
To go on. Jihad is fard kifayah. It can never be abandoned
by the whole community or we will all be in sin. If no one
is fighting in the way of Allah, then you and I must go out
and fight fisabeelillahi. We are reminded throughout Qur'an
to strive for good and fight wrong. (61:11). Allah says when
you meet disbelievers continue jihad till they embrace
Islam (47:4). This doesn't mean that they all have to
become Muslim but they all have to embrace the good
principles of Islam. This means no more pornography,
homosexuality, open corruption in the public square on
television, etc). The weak and oppressed can't handle
modern society. Allah says fight for the weak and
oppressed who cry out "save us from the disbelieving
oppressors" (4:74-76. Again we are told fight until there
is no more fitna (tumult and oppression) (8:39).
We are promised victory as an incentive. We truly believe it
when Allah says 20 of us will vanquish 200 of them. (8:65).
Some times the non-combatants, even innocent will die in
the battle. The innocent often die in a tsunami or a hurricane.
It is Allah's way of letting us know how to view and
acknowledge His Powers. The enemy can not hide among the
so-called innocent or think that some places are off limits.
They asked Prophet Muhammad about the mangonels (catapults)
of stone or fire buckets that were used against a fortress.
He was told there are women and children in the fortress.
Shall we use these weapons that may kill women and children.
He told them to use them. We are attacking the fortress.
Allah will protect whom He will.
Dear believers there will be more that will shock and awe
people as the battle rages on. Do you think Allah is
pleased with the way the world is going? I don't think so.

What the Qur'an & the Hadith Say:
Spying for the Kuffar is an Act of Apostasy.
Taking the Oppressors as Friends During
War Time is Strictly Forbidden [Haram].

[The writer has researched the Islamic ruling on those like
the British Muslims, MCB, who are helping Blair to persecute
other Muslims or U.S. Muslims like Mahdi Bray, Johari Abdul Malik,
MAS Freedom, and others who declared that they would spy on
Muslims and hand them over to the Kuffar.]
In today's dangerous world all Muslims must make a fundamental
choice on who they are, where they stand, and we must all
choose where our allegiance lies. With the Kuffar unable to
defeat the Muslims in battle, they are now seeking to double
their efforts at trying to defeat us from within. A key part
of this strategy is the use of spies who pose as Muslims.
Like in all issues facing us though, we must refer to the
Qur'an and the Sunnah of Muhammad (sal Allaho alaihi wassalam)
for guidance upon this matter. After all, we are commanded
by Allah to do this.
What do the Qur'an and Sunnah say about Muslims spying on other Muslims?
There is an abundance of clear evidences in the
Qur'an and Hadith regarding this. When looking at
these Islamic evidences it is very obvious that to
spy upon another Muslim has been clearly prohibited.
Allah states in Surah al-Hujjurat:
Oh you who believe! Avoid many suspicions, indeed
some suspicions are sins.
And spy not, nor backbite one another.
Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false
tales. And do not look for the others' faults, and do not
do spying on one another, and do not practice Najash, and
do not be jealous of one another and do not hate one another,
and do not desert (stop talking to) one another. And Oh,
Allah's worshipers! Be brothers!
[Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book 73, No. 92]
And in another Hadith, Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said:
'Do not spy and do not eavesdrop'; [Al-Muwatta, Book 47, No 47.4.15]
There is a third Hadith that assures the one who listens to
the private talk of others without their permission, will be
punished in the Day of Judgment with molten lead being poured
in their ears. That is with regards to Muslims spying on each other.
With regards to 'Muslims' undertaking spying for the benefit
of the Kuffar who are actively engaged in war against
Islam and Muslims, it is much worse than a mere sin:
It is an act of apostasy and Kufr.
The reasoning for this proposition may sound startling, as
would its implications. Within this context though, spying
for the Kuffar who are presently engaged in hostile campaigns
against the Muslims (like in Iraq and Afghanistan); who are
trying to undermine the unity of the Muslims from within
(such as seeking to divide, imprison and even expel us),
falls within the category of actually aligning with them.
In other words, spying for the Kuffar - passing allegations,
information, and 'intelligence' on Muslims to their security
services is tantamount to aiding and abetting them in this
campaign against Islam, thus elevating the act of spying for
them (the disbelievers at war with Islam) to one of apostasy and kufr.
The Islamic evidences are numerous and unequivocal in the
condemnation of this alignment with the enemies of Islam:
Surah al-Imran, verse 28:
Let not the believers take the disbelievers as Auliyâ
(allies, supporters, helpers, etc.) instead of the believers,
and whoever does that will never be helped by Allah in any way,
except if you indeed fear a danger from them. And Allah warns
you against Himself (His Punishment) and to Allah is the final return.
Surah al-Imran, verse 118:
Oh you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors,
consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those
outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and
hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to
corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has
already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts
conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the
Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand.
Surah an-Nisa', verses 138 / 139:
Give to the hypocrites the 'glad' tidings that there is
for them a painful torment. Those who take disbelievers
for Auliyâ' (allies, protectors or helpers or friends)
instead of believers, do they seek honour, power and glory
with them? Verily, then to Allah belongs all honour, power and glory.
Surah an-Nisa', verses 144 / 145:
Oh you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ' (allies, protectors
or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of believers. Do
you wish to offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?
Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade)
of the Fire; no helper will you find for them.
Imam Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Ibn Jarir At-Tabari (may Allah
be pleased with him) commented in detail about Surah al-Imran,
verse 28 in his Tafsir. Regarding this verse, he wrote the following:
And this is a prohibition from the Almighty Allah to the
believers not to take the unbelievers as assistants, and
supporters. Moreover, the position of the Arabic word 'Yattakhidh'
denotes an absolute prohibition. Therefore, the verse means:
Oh believers! Do not take the unbelievers as helpers and
supporters, by supporting them in their religion and helping
them against the Muslims, instead of helping the believers,
and by showing them the defects of the Muslims. Whoever does
that has no relation to Allah in any way.
This means that by doing so, the person is divorced and
separated from Allah, due to his apostatizing from his Deen
and his entry into disbelief. Now as for the following
statement, "unless that you only protect yourselves from
them a protection", this means unless you fall under their
authority, and fear for yourself. In that case, you would
show them loyalty with your tongues and hide enmity, but you
do not support them in their disbelief, and you do not help
them against any Muslim with any deed.
Additionally, Imam At-Tabari (may Allah be pleased with him)
has elsewhere stated that:
Whoever takes the Jews and the Christians as friends and allies,
instead of the believers, the person will then be one of them;
i.e. one of the followers of their religion. Because no one
would take anybody as an ally except if he is pleased with
him and with his religion. And if he is pleased with him and
with his religion, he would have shown enmity to anyone who
opposes him and shows discontent to him. Therefore, they would
be considered to be in the same group.
It is also noteworthy what Imam Abu Muhammad Ali bin Hazm (may
Allah be pleased with him) wrote upon this topic in his book
entitled 'Al-Muhallâ.' He stated:
Whoever enters a non-Muslim state; a land not ruled by Muslims
by his own choice with the intention of fighting his fellow
Muslim brothers, the person will be considered as an apostate
by doing such a deed. He will have all the judgment of the
apostate: such as the obligation of killing him whenever
possible, the permissibility of his wealth to be in the
possession of the public treasury and dissolution of his marriage, etc.
As to someone who fights the Muslims, help the unbelievers
against them, by means of service or writing, the person who
does that would be unbeliever. If he is staying there (in a
non-Muslim state) for the sake of a worldly life goal, he would
be like a Dhimmi (living under their protection) for them,
while being able to join the Muslims and their land, he would
not be far from disbelief, for there would be no excuse for him.
Thus, we pray Allah to protect us from such a condition.
Allah also states in Surah al-Mai'da:
Oh you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as
Auliyâ' (allies, friends, protectors, helpers, etc.); they
are but Auliyâ' to one another. And if any amongst you takes
them as Auliyâ', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah
guides not those people who are the Zalimoon
And you see those in whose hearts there is a disease (of hypocrisy),
they hurry to their friendship, saying: "We fear lest some
misfortune of a disaster may befall us." Perhaps Allah may
bring a victory or a decision according to His Will. Then
they will become regretful for what they have been keeping
as a secret in themselves.
Commenting upon these verses, Ibn Kathir
[Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Vol. 3, pp. 204 - 205] wrote:
Allah forbids His believing servants from having Jews and
Christians as allies, because they are the enemies of
Islam and its people, may Allah curse them. Allah then
states that they are allies and friends of each other and
He gives a warning threat to those who do this: and if any
amongst you takes them as Auliyâ, then surely he is one of
them. And you see those in whose hearts there is a disease
- [That is] a disease of doubt, hesitation and hypocrisy.
'.they hurry to their friendship' meaning, they rush to offer
them their friendship and allegiances in secret and in public,
saying: "We fear lest some misfortune of a disaster may befall
us." They thus offer this excuse for their friendship and
allegiances to the disbelievers, saying that they fear that
the disbelievers might defeat the Muslims, so they want to
be in favour with the Jews and Christians, to use this favour
for their benefit in that eventuality!
Abdullah bin Umar reported that the Prophet (SAW) said:
A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not
oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor.
Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will
fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother
out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the
discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever
screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection.
[Al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, No. 622]
As servants and slaves of Allah, we are commanded to submit
to the rulings and decrees laid down in the Revelation that
has been brought to us, namely, the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
Our position is not to rebel against the commandments of
Allah as the Shaytan did, out of arrogance and pride.
Spying upon other Muslims is contrary to what Allah and
His Messenger (SAW) has commanded.
In order to comply with Allah's commandments and stand as
witnesses for truth, we urge all Muslims, individually
and collectively to the following:
-
DO NOT ENGAGE IN SPYING ON ANY MUSLIM FOR THE POLICE, MI5,
OR THEIR COLLABORATORS SUCH AS "MOSQUE COMMITTEES" AND THE
MCB - (MUNAFIQ COLLABORATORS WITH BRITAIN)
-
SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER IN KHAIR AND EEMAN; NOT EVIL AND HYPOCRISY
-
WARN ALL THE MUSLIMS IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND OF ANY SPY
AND THEIR CORRUPTED ACTIVITIES
-
PUBLISH THE NAMES OF ALL SPIES TO ALL SINCERE MUSLIMS:
EXPOSE AND DENOUNCE THEM WITHOUT MERCY!
As Believers we are reminded that Allah will of a surety
test us, just as our predecessors were also tested. The
infiltration of spies into the Muslim community is simply
but a test from Allah, it is a test we must be prepared for.
Regardless of whether or not you understand current events
or think some of them are wrong, this is not an excuse to
make evil alliances with the enemies of Islam. We will not
achieve success in this life and the hereafter by selling
our Deen to the Kuffar for money and what some consider as
'fame.' Such actions only guarantee us disgrace in this life
and an extremely painful torment in bottom-pit of the
Hellfire in the hereafter.
