Dr. Omar Abdel Rahman Faces Unprecedented
Oppression
Entire Muslim Ummah/USA is Answerable if
Silent
"Have you not turned your thought to
those
who declare that they believe in the
revelations
that have come to thee and to those
before
thee?
Their (real) wish is to resort
together for
judgement
(in their disputes) to taghoot
(non-Islamic power)
though they are ordered to reject
taghoot. But
Satan's wish is to lead them astray
far
away (from
the right). The Qur'an 4:60
Aus bin Sharjeel (Allah be pleased
with
him) says
that he heard the messenger of
Allah,
peace be on
him, say: One who strenghens the
oppressor by
siding with the oppressor even
though he
knows
that the one he is helping is an
oppressor, such a
one has gone outside the fold of
Islam.
Hadith sahih (Mishkat)
Assalamu alaikum: Dear believers. The faith of the Ummah is
challenged by the continued oppression of Dr. Omar 'Abdel Rahman,
leader of
the mass Islamic movement known as Gamaa al-Islamiyya, by the U.S.
government.
1. While the Muslims of America were enjoying Ramadan, Shaikh
Omar was
in solitary confinement in Rochester, Minnesota.
2. While the Muslims of America were celebrating Eid, Shaikh
Omar was
in solitary confinement in Rochester, Minnesota.
(Thus the Shaikh has been "in the hole", in prison terminology,
longer than anyone else in America's vast prison gulag.)
DURING RAMADAN, the U.S. carried out a new and unprecedented act
of
repression against Dr. Omar 'Abdel Rahman. His attorney privileges were
taken
away. Which means that now even the attorneys cannot visit him! This
has not
happened to any other prisoner. Even Br. Ramzi Yusuf's attorney can
visit him.
Before this final step, the government had ALREADY STOPPED ALL
VISITS
TO DR. OMAR.
1. No journalists allowed (which is worse than prisons in
Peru).
2. No community leaders allowed.
3. No imams allowed.
4. No blind people's supporters allowed
5. No human rights representatives allowed
The warden and the guards do not know Arabic. The Shaikh does
not
know English. So if he is unwell, he cannot talk even to his captors.
HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE HIS SHORT WAVE RADIO, thus
effectively
cutting him off from all that is happening in the world.
His religious rights are being violated. He is not allowed to
pray with
Muslim inmates on any occasion. A year back, he was allowed to pray
behind a
screen during juma'. When the prayer leader made a mistake in
recitation, the
Shaikh, who is Hafiz of the entire Qu'ran, corrected the reciter, as he
is
obligated to do by the Prophet's Hadith. At that, his permission to
pray from
behind a screen was taken away.

Dear readers: Remember that USA has no right to hold Shaikh Omar in
prison.
His trial was a farce. Remember these facts
1. The judge, Michael Mukasey, is a Zionist Jew (while the Shaikh is
an
uncompromising anti-Zionist)
2. The Jury had not one of the Shaikh's peers in it. (No Muslims, Arabs
or
Africans on the Jury.)
3. The Judge refused tp allow testimony even from non-Muslim scholars
who
wanted to show the difference between JIHAD (which the Shaikh teaches)
and
terrorism.
4. The Jury was allowed to read inflammatory material against the
Shaikh and
Jihad put out by Time Magazine and others.
5. The key government witness turned out to be an Egyptian intelligence
operative who was paid $1,000,000 for his doctored testimony.

WE URGE BELIEVERS IN NIGERIA, GHANA, UGANDA , South AFRICA and
BANGLADESH to
protest to U.S. embassies. This is urgent.
