Minister Farrakhan's Memorable Speech
JAM Carries out Strong Sudan Outreach
A huge crowd listened to Minister Louis Farrakhan's 3
hour
long speech at the Million Families March in front of the Capitol in
Washington D.C. Minister Farrakhan was able to bring together people of
various faiths, backgrounds and ethnic groups. Observers say he has
become the healer of suffering America's people. An outstanding aspect
of
the unity expressed at the massive gathering was the appearance of
Malcolm X's daugthers with Minister Farrakhan in a great gesture of
reconciliation which put an end to the efforts of Mike Wallace (60
Minutes) to make the people fight each other.
We do not wish to pre-empt the Nation of Islam's report on the
March so we'll limit ourselves to a brief report on Jamaat
al-Muslimeen's
efforts.
JAM focused on two issues: POLITICAL PRISONERS and SUDAN. A
special effort was made to help Sudan because the Zionists are carrying
out a creeping new campaign against Sudan, this time through naive
Black
Christian publications.

Jamil al-Amin and Shaikh Omar) were outstanding in the entire
gathering.
Through organized and systematic outreach, JAM was able to reach
thousands of people with NEW TREND magazine and flyers on Sudan
specially
produced for the occasion.
The MILLION SIGNATURES CAMPAIGN petition for Imam Jamil
al-Amin's
release was also distributed on a wide scale with excellent response
from
the audience.
