Dear believers who follow the Qur'an and the Hadith
Dear Christians who follow the original teaching of Jesus (pbuh)
Dear people of conscience who mourn for human suffering
asalamu alaikum (peace be with you)
I am writing to ask for your support in the good works of Jamaat 
al-Muslimeen International. We need to work unitedly and with clear 
objectives and blessed goals in view. Jamaat al-Muslimeen is willing to 
work 
with other like-minded independent organizations. Our sincerity in this 
unity 
factor resulted in our being part of the November 7 Movement initiated 
by 
Imam Warithuddin Umar, Br. Abdul-Mumit, Sis. Motisola Abdallah and 
others.
Times have changed in new ways since September 11, 2001. Muslims 
are 
under tremendous pressure from the American power structure. Hence I 
call 
upon members, supporters and sympathizers of Jamaat al-Muslimeen to 
re-affirm 
their support and the level of support for our work. Please re-affirm 
in 
writing by email or by letter. If you would like to continue to support 
the 
work without your name being mentioned, do let me know.
Imam Nadim Ali, imam of the West Side, Atlanta, Mosque has informed 
me of 
the latest on Imam Jamil's situation. Please do the following: Monitor 
the 
case (starting with jury selection), keep your communities informed, 
organize 
teach-ins and prepare for demonstrations. Those with relatives and 
friends in 
Atlanta should urge them to attend the hearings.
