Oppose the Death Penalty

Pakistani
POW Aimal Kansi is facing execution on November 7, 2002
Kansi attacked the
CIA
headquarters 13 years back. He was captured in
Pakistan and brought to trial in the U.S. Hs appeals against the
sentence of death which he received have run out.
His family is appealing to the
Governor of Virginia
for clemency. We
urge all opponents of the death penalty to join the clemency plea by
writing polite letters to:

The death penalty in a secular state like the United States is illogical
because a secular state does not endorse ultimate religious ideas like
a life after death.
