SUPPORTERS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST 
COCA-COLA
On July 22, 
Sis. Motisola M. Abdallah, 
Secretary-General of 
Jamaat al-Muslimeen, 
addressed a press conference in 
Washington DC to show support for 
the workers of Columbia, South America, who are 
facing serious oppression by 
Coca-Cola.
Speaking at the National Press Club, dressed 
in all-white Hijab, Sis. 
Abdallah, who arrived from Atlanta, called for 
worldwide solidarity to 
BOYCOTT 
COCA-COLA. The Muslim and Arab peoples, she said, 
should join hands with the 
people of Columbia to stop the depredations of 
Coca-Cola.
The press conference was organized by the 
A.N.S.W.E.R. 
Coalition. Among 
speakers from various cities was Teresa 
Gutierrez, a trade unionist from 
Columbia who has been forced into exile owing to 
her opposition to Coca-Cola's 
anti-labor actions. Her speech, translated into 
English, indicated that a number 
of trade unionists opposed to Coca-Cola have 
actually been murdered in Columbia.

Coca-Cola's connection to 
Israel.]
