It's a massacre from the air. Troops are now advancing with
heavy artillery support.. At least 200 civilians were
killed. Al-Jazeerah reported 60 killed on May 21 alone.
Military has imposed curfew to hide the massacre but news
are trckling out on social media.. This is worse than east
Pakistan. Jet fighters and helicopters were not so freely
used over there.
The military has once again undermined the unity and
religion of Pakistan

This is in Urdu. A victim of the Paki helicopters attacks in
Bajaur tells Imran Khan that he, his six year old son and 40
other travellers stood on the road with their hands up to
show passing Pak helicopters that they were unarmed
civilians. However the helicopter came back and killed and
wounded all of them except him. His child's legs were cut
off.
Imran says we keep killing civilians and then we say we
killed Taliban.

Understanding Saudi Arabia in the light of sura

Br. Kaukab Siddique gave the juma khutba at Masjid Jamaat
al-Muslimeen in Baltimore on May 23. About the quality of
the khutba, a sister who has heard khutbas most of her life
spoke out that Br. Kaukab's khutba was the best she has ever
heard and that it should have been videotaped and audio
taped and distributed. She said the audience was spell bound
and no one moved an inch.
Here are the main points for distribution on line:

The longest chapter of the Qur'an, sura al-Baqarah has
extensive passages about the Bani Israel [who came to be
known as Jews], as do many other suras..

The Qur'an is not a book of history. It is not an
anti-Semitic book either. In fact the Qur'an honors the Jews
by calling them ahlul kitab. So why these extensive
passages?

The Qur'an is a book of GUIDANCE for those who are
God-conscious [muttaqeen]

It is telling Muslims that when a people are chosen by
Allah and blessed, what happens to them if they are not
thankful.

The story of the Bani Israel is related in the past
tense. The Qur'an is not saying that they are blessed
now.

Allah parted the sea for them and then drowned the
Pharoah. Allah fed the entire nation from the air otherwise
they would have perished in the desert. Twelve water streams
appeared to quench the thirst of their 12 tribes.

But the Jews were thankless. They wanted the luxuries and
comforts of Egypt though they were treated as inferiors
there.

When the time came to fight, they told Musa, pbuh,
[Moses], go thou and thy Lord and fight.

When they were told to sacrifice the cow, baqarah, they
went into fiqh, squabbling about its size and color. Their
spirit was not good.

When the Messiah, Jesus, pbuh, came to them, they
insulted him and his mother, pbuh, and tried to crucify him.
They failed, says the Qur'an, and Allah exalted him.

Later Allah sent foreign forces which devastated them
and destroyed their temple.

These verses are clear guidance for Muslims. Look at
Allah's blessings on the Muslims in OUR OWN TIMES.

The biggest outflow of oil appeared in huge quantities
in the poverty stricken land of {Saudi} Arabia.

The miracle from the earth was so huge that Saudi Arabia
started making billions of dollars in profit.

The Saudis were not only thankless, they became arrogant
and started believing that they are better than everyone
else.

Next door was poverty stricken Yemen but Saudis did not
distribute their wealth.

Next door to that was Somalia, pure starvation, and the
Saudis let them die.

They could have fed the entire Muslim world. Look at
Bangladesh. It has been subverted by India. Saudis could
have easily helped this huge, needy, population of Muslims
but they did not.

They have resorted to petty pursuits and frivolous
pastimes.

Allah is gradually taking away their wealth. USA and
Russia are becoming major producers. Soon Saudi Arabia will
be worthless.

Allah blessed them but they were thankless. Look at how
they bicker over little points of fiqh but they swallow the
great evil of kingship and are friends of the kuffar and
dictators like Egypt's Sisi.

They could have changed the entire face of Africa.
Instead they put their money in western banks and their
armed forces are in the hands of the western powers.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- After three violent crimes in
the past 36 hours, Aiken County law enforcement is working
together to catch at least one set of crooks.
"Especially when you have things happen like we've had over
the past day and a half," said Captain Eric Abdullah with
the sheriff's office."There are going to be separate
investigators working those cases."
First it was a home invasion and sexual assault in North
Augusta. Public Safety says that two men forced their way
into a home on Atomic Road Thursday morning. Once inside the
home they say that one of the suspects held the male victim
at gun point while the second suspect sexually assaulted the
female victim.
"We're going to treat these as two separate incidents and
perhaps somewhere down the line there becomes a connection,"
Abdullah said.
The second came late Thursday night in Wagener with two more
male suspects involved in a home invasion. Investigators say
that two men gained entry into the house, stole several
items and before leaving, shot the victim inside the house
in the forehead. The victim was taken to an area
hospital.
"Well we usually look out for this neighborhood but it did
happen," said Peggy Smith who lives near with the crime
happened. "From now on I guess I'll keep my door locked and
everybody be on alert."
Then came the robbery Friday morning, when a man was trying
to open up a store around 7 a.m. on Whiskey Road when two
men approached and robbed him. Deputies say that the victim
then ran away but that's when the two suspects shot at the
victim. He was not hurt.
"We could have something that is similar to the way another
incident happened in someone else's jurisdiction that could
be a pattern that we could discover just based upon talking
with one another," Abdullah said.

Dear Chancellor Roberts:
I have long enjoyed Smithsonian magazine and admired the
Smithsonian Institute. Therefore I feel constrained to
comment on the Smithsonian program "Treblinka: Hitler's
Killing Machine."
One of the promotional clips was entitled, "Excavating a
Secret Gas Chamber: The watershed discovery of Star of David
tiles confirms the existence of Treblinka's gas chambers and
becomes the key to reconstructing the death camp's sinister
workings." In fact, the film confused or conflated the Star
of David with the trademark of the 125-year old Dziewulski
Lange porcelain factory in Poland. The mark is actually a
heraldic symbol known as a pierced mullet star.
A second promotional clip was entitled, "The Bones the Nazis
Hid: A forensic archaeologist who investigates modern-day
murders uncovers a mass grave that's remained a secret since
the Holocaust." It turns out that the "expert" forensic
archaeologist was excavating at the edge of a known and
well-marked Christian cemetery. It seems that a day's
digging in three trenches produced 40 bone fragments. Your
expert was unclear on whose bones these were, how long they
had been buried, how many bodies were found (anywhere from 2
to 40 is possible), what killed them (odd to overlook for a
forensic specialist), and whether any of the bones had been
exposed to cremation, (something very relevant to
investigations of Treblinka).
Without further ado, the bones were put back into a hole and
we are informed that this "proves" that Treblinka was "much
more than just a labor camp."
The program would have been a farce if it were not for the
profound seriousness of events at Treblinka. At best, this
recent "forensic investigation" revisited the Soviet efforts
of August 1944 and the investigation of Judge Zdzislaw
Lukaszkiewicz in November 1945 and August 1946. This program
does no credit to the Smithsonian Institute. I hope the
Smithsonian will act to either correct the errors in
"Hitler's Killing Machine" or disassociate itself from this
Show. It has a moral obligation to do so.

Kuwait to Distribute 250,000 Qur'an in Brazil

CAIRO - Kuwait's Awqaf Ministry has announced plans to
distribute 250,000 free copies of Qur'an translations in
different languages in Brazil during the FIFA World Cup,
reaching out to a wide range of people for different
cultures and backgrounds.
According to the Kuwaiti daily, Al-Qabas, the ministry's
Quran Board announced that it has held a tender for the
procurement of the copies.
The board said the required quantity would be in four
languages including Spanish, Portuguese, English and French.
These copies, according the paper, will be distributed in
hotels, stadiums and other public places.

The announcement, however, raised concerns about FIFA
regulations, banning the distribution of any religious
pamphlets within five kilometers from the cities where the
competition runs.
Hosted by Brazil for the second time, the FIFA World Cup
football tournament would run from June 12 to July 13,
2014.
Twelve cities are scheduled to host matches: Belo Horizonte,
Brasilia, Cuiaba, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Manuas, Natal, Porto
Alegre, Recife, Salvador, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro
A total of 32 teams split into eight groups will be vying
for the coveted World Cup trophy in Brazil, including six
countries with a Muslim majority or large Muslim population
including Algeria, Cameroon, the Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Iran
and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Earlier this month, it was announced that a special guide
book has been published in Brazil for Muslim fans in the
2014 FIFA World Cup.
Titled "Salam (hello) Barazil", the 32-page booklet has been
published by the Union of Islamic Associations of Brazil in
cooperation with the Omani embassy in the South American
country.
Head of the Union Muhammad Hussein Al-Zuqbi said the book
provides Muslim fans with addresses of Islamic centers,
places of worship, Halal restaurants and entertainment
centers whose activities are in accordance with Islamic
Sharia laws.
He said it also contains a brief history of Islam's presence
in Brazil and the culture of Brazilian Muslims.
According to Al-Zuqbi, copies of "Salam Brazil" have been
provided to airlines in Islamic and Arab countries to be
distributed among Muslim passengers traveling to Brazil.

Qaeda in Syria targets army with four suicide bombings AFP
Beirut (AFP) - Syria's Al-Qaeda branch staged four suicide
bomb attacks on army positions Sunday, leaving dozens of
casualties, in a bid to cut off Idlib province from the
coast, a monitoring group said.
The attacks came a day after the Al-Nusra Front announced
the creation of an arms factory.
"Four Al-Nusra Front fighters carried out suicide attacks
this morning, driving vehicles packed with explosives into
four regime forces' checkpoints in the Jabal al-Arbaeen area
near Ariha city," said the Syrian Observatory for Human
Rights.
The Britain-based group said that dozens of troops were
killed or wounded, without giving specific figures.
Fierce fighting broke out in the area, pitting army troops
backed by pro-regime militia against rebels and jihadists,
said the Observatory.
The air force also struck the area, killing two rebels and
wounding another 15, it added.
The army controls the cities of Idlib and Ariha in Idlib
province of northwest Syria, but much of the countryside is
under rebel control.
Ariha lies on the road from Idlib to Latakia on the
Mediterranean coast, the heartland of President Bashar
al-Assad's regime and his Alawite offshoot of Shia
Islam.
Like the majority of Syria's population, most of the rebels
are Sunni Muslims.
The rebels are "determined to cut off the road before the
presidential vote" on June 3 that is to be contested only in
regime-controlled areas, according to the Observatory.
The opposition and its Western backers have condemned as a
"farce" the election in which Assad is expected to stroll to
victory.
The attacks came a day after the jihadists announced via
Twitter that they had launched a project to manufacture
weapons, and called on "all Muslims" to support it.
"In a bid to create a full-scale military industry...
Al-Nusra Front has established the Bas (courage) institution
for military production and development, the first fully
jihadist project of development and fabrication of effective
weaponry."
Al-Nusra Front said it was "an opportunity to serve jihad
and jihadists".
Syria's war broke out in March 2011 as Arab Spring-inspired
demands for political change morphed into an insurgency
after Assad's regime unleashed a brutal crackdown on
dissent.
Al-Nusra Front surfaced in the conflict in 2012.
The war has killed more than 160,000 people, the Observatory
estimates, and forced nearly half the population of Syria to
flee their homes
