From Ayesha, r.a: "By Allah, who took away the Prophet. The
Prophet never missed them (two Rakat) after the 'Asr prayer
till he met Allah and he did not meet Allah till it became
heavy for him to pray while standing so he used to offer
most of the prayers while sitting. (She meant the two Rakat
after Asr). He used to pray them in the house and never
prayed them in the mosque lest it might be hard for his
followers and he loved what was easy for them.

Widespread Incidents of Rape in New Delhi, India
December 10: BBC. Multiple incidents of rapes in India's
capital have spread terror and fear in the female
population. Special police patrols have been set up to
protect women.

Sudan
December 10: Wikileaks cables have revealed that heavy
Soviet tanks were delivered to Southern Sudan, with the
connivance of the U.S. with its ally Kenya. Sixty-seven
heavy tanks were delivered during the Bush era, thus making
it possible for the South to defy the Islamic government in
Khartoum. The story was uncovered when Somali pirates
captured a ship carrying another 36 heavy tanks, held it for
3 months and released it only after Somali pirates were paid
$3 million. Now the Obama administration has stopped the
shipments while it waits to make sure the South separates
from Sudan, pressuring for separation. [Source: NPR]

Afghanistan
December 12: South west of Kandahar, an Islamic fighter sent
by the Taliban carried out a martyrdom operation against
elite US troops, killing 6 of them. Till now in December,
the Taliban have killed 22 NATO troops. Another 58 of NATO's
best were killed in November. The Taliban have lost 25

Taliban videos of the jihad are steadily reaching Pakistani
Internet groups.

to the fighting. The public has been cut off from interest
in the war.]
Iraq
December 12 attack in Ramadi and December 10 attack in
Tikrit have killed 13 and wounded 23 police and people
connected to the Maliki group in Bagdad. Four of attackers
were captured. A US soldier was fatally wounded in Wasit
province. [Again US coverage is minimal.]
Pakistan
December 11: Pakistan's military admitted new fighting in
Swat and Mohmand agencies. It claimed to have killed 7
Islamic fighters. The areas were "conquered" by the
US-backed military a year back but the support for Pak
Taliban is so widespread that General Kayani keeps the areas
under tight military rule. No journalists are allowed.
Travel is severely restricted.
December 12: Jamaate Islami's secretary general Liaqat
Baluch told a rally in Multan that if the Blasphemy Law is
repealed, the masses will rise up and overthrow the
government. He said that the government is trying to protect
Aasia, who insulted the Prophet, pbuh, but is not protecting
Aafia who is in a U.S. prison. Pakistan is based on love of
Muhammad, pbuh, and secularist attempts to open up the
sacred to abuse as in the West will be opposed.
A huge gathering of Tablighi Jamaat ended at Raiwind near
Lahore after a 45 minute long prayer calling on Allah
Almighty to protect Pakistan.
Gunmen opened fire on police in central Peshawar killing two
policemen. Also security forces completed their campaign in
Taliban supporting areas of Karachi and seized an assortment
of weapons.

Youtube Hits
Enter "Kaukab Siddique" in the youtube search engine, and
you'll get four interesting entries right away. The first
one is CBN reporter Stackelbeck's attack on Dr. Siddique in
which he cut a slice out of the Washington, DC speech, and
then told a bunch of lies about Siddique. Stack is an
extreme right winger who would make Limbaugh envious. This
has received 1,649 views.
The second entry is Dr. Siddique's complete speech in DC (on
which Stackelbeck did his hachetjob). This has received
9,226 views. Owing to the relative freedom of the internet
and youtube, the complete picture which Dr. Siddique
attempted to convey could not be concealed by CBN and
Stackelbeck. Scores of Zionists have written abuse in the
comments section after the speech, but these comments
contain nothing of substance. They simply show Jewish hatred
for Muslims.
The third entry is Dr. Siddique's interview with Hisham
Tillawi on the Mumbai (India) attack. This has received 730
views.

Welcome to the new Islamic Year, 1432: Join the Caravan of
Musa (pbuh), Umar (ra), and Husain (ra)
Narrated 'Aisha, r.a. Allah's Apostle ordered (the Muslims)
to fast on the day of 'Ashura', and when fasting in the
month of Ramadan was prescribed, it became optional for one
to fast on that day ('Ashura'). (Hadith, Sahih Bukhari)
The Islamic calendar begins with the hijra of Muhammad,
pbuh, when he left his home and everything of this world,
only with Abu Bakr, r.a., and barely made it with his life
to Yathreb which came to be known as Madinatun Nabi [the
City of the Prophet, pbuh]. Giving up everything for Allah's
sake: that's what the Islamic way of life entails.
The calendar itself was initiated by Umar, r.a., the second
rightly guided Caliph of Islam, and the greatest Muslim in
history after the prophets, peace be on them, Abu Bakr, r.a.
and Ayesha r.a.
The fast on the 10th of Muharram is in memory of the Day
when Pharoah and his army were drowned and Musa, pbuh, and
his people were saved by Allah. It is a day for Muslims to
remember that the greatest worldly powers, like Zionism and
Imperialism today, will be destroyed by Allah Almighty.
As the Jews too claimed Musa, [Moses], pbuh, and fasted on
Ashura [10 Muharram]. Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, taught Muslims
to fast on both the 9th and the 10th. The Muslims must never
get mixed up with the Jews.
A day to remember is Muharram 1 when Umar, Allah be pleased
with him, was martyred. He was the greatest ruler the Muslim
world has known [after the Prophet, pbuh] for whom Justice,
Compassion and defiance of superpowers were central, based
on love and fear of Allah. He was martyred because he did
not take security precautions against enemy agents.
Umar, r,a., loved the Islamic family of the Prophet, pbuh.
Ali, r.a., was his friend and member of his central
consultative committee. He loved the grandchildren of the
Prophet, pbuh, Hasan and Husain, Allah be pleased with them,
and gave them high stipends. Finally, he married a daughter
of Ali, r.a., to cement the bond of Islamic unity. The Shi'a
sect has fabricated weird stories to defame Umar, r.a., and
to paint him in a negative light. It is time that our Shi'a
brothers and sisters give up this process of abuse and
defamation. [Here is what the genuine Shi'a imams
taught:
"From both Imam Baqir Muhammad bin Ali and Imam Jafar Sadiq:
Both Abu Bakr and Umar were Imams of Islam. They were Just.
We love them and we despise their enemies. From Imam Ja'afar
Sadiq: Can anyone speak against his grandfather? Abu Bakr
Siddiq was my grandfather. May my ancestor, Muhammad, pbuh,
not intercede with Allah for me if I do not love Abu Bakr

Last but not least, Mohurram 10 is the anniversary of the
martyrdom of Imam Husain, the grandson of the Prophet, pbuh.
He was martyred at Kerbala [in Iraq] along with his family
who were all killed by a ruthless tribal army. Imam Husain
stood against kingship, hereditary rule, a corrupt power
structure and tyranny. He does not belong to any one sect
but to the entire Muslim ummah. Many Sunnis have associated
him with Shi'aism. They see the Shi'as beating their chests
[matam], crying and wailing for Imam Husain, all of which is
forbidden in Islam, and they get turned off.
Kerbala has a symbolic value. We don't need to fight those
battles all over again. We see the Shi'as today in Iraq and
Afghanistan working with and for the kuffar. We see them in
Pakistan, hand in glove with General Kayani's
made-in-America army. Imam Husain did not accept a ruler who
followed Islam conventionally but was not politically
Islamic. Would he have accepted NATO? God forbid! Shia'ism
has fallen to its lowest point in modern history.
I pray for the emergence of great Islamic scholars and
leaders from Shia'ism, Ayatollahs of the stature of Sunni
jihad leaders, who would unite the Shi'as and the Sunnis. If
there is no Husain, alayhis salam, among the Shi'as, Iran
will be isolated, divided and assaulted by Imperialism and
Zionism.

Christian and Jewish Zionists Both Deny Jesus' (PBUH)
Teachings.

The books that Christian Zionists rely upon reveal how
crafty distortions have, for two generations, enabled
Celebrity Christian leaders to support political Israel and
perpetual war in the Middle East.
When I meet a professing Christ follower my first question
is, "What do you make of Jesus' words in the 5th chapter,
Book of Matthew, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven, Blessed are the meek, the
merciful, the pure; Blessed are the Peacemakers for they
shall be called the sons of God?"
If the person I ask is a bright child, he will usually say
these are rules Jesus expects. However, when I ask a pastor
or adult church leader in those churches that are influenced
by Christian Zionism's world view, the answer is usually
confused, something like this: "We do not live in a perfect
world,"... "we have to realize Jesus was giving an object
lesson on how bad the world really is," or "He showed us how
impossible the pure life is." Those leaders who realize
they are supporting world conflict might say "some wars are
just, are you a pacifist?" or "these are not really
standards Jesus expects of us, because we are all sinners."
From the most scholarly I hear "life will be that way
someday in the Millennial Kingdom after Jesus returns to
earth, after the rapture."
Misleading footnotes dominate several other study bibles,
including the John Mac Arthur and modern and popular NIV
Study Bibles. Corrupted bibles misdirect pastors, who then
misdirect the followers of Jesus. Christian Zionists
pastors usually refer to the text as "the inspired or
inerrant word of God."
The most damaging of the Christian Zionist bible distorters
was Cyrus I Scofield, who in 1908 wrote a book that has
since been revised three or more times by its owner, Oxford
University Press. The Scofield Reference Bible is used in
many seminaries. Deceptive footnotes and "Subheading" have
been added to a traditional text that directed readers to
believe Jesus words in Matthew 5, are "The Principles and
Rules of the Kingdom" (meaning Heaven) which is very
different from rules to live by on this earth. In 1967,
Oxford University Press put forth drastically changed
FOOTNOTES and SUB-HEADINGS carefully interwoven with the
Scofield original notes making them nearly indistinguishable
to most readers. Even the new language style is conformed to
the old, blending, like the old and new boards in my oak
floor, deliberately interwoven to make the old and new seem
indistinguishable to the casual eye. The devil lurks in the
footnotes.
Children come up with the right answer when asked what
Jesus' words mean because they have not yet been inculcated
with the Christian Zionist jargon. In contrast, Christian
Zionists as much as say that Jesus' words are not to be
taken literally, but are a description of life in a perfect
place Jesus has prepared for those who believe in him.
Once we understand how and why Christian Zionists distort
Jesus' words, we can quickly see why they support Israel's
occupation of the land of the Philistines. US wars in the
Middle East and Israel's brutal occupation are seen as
"God's will"--necessary steps in the chain toward a perfect
world after Jesus comes back. Several celebrity Christian
leaders openly lobby for a preemptive strike on Iran and the
deportation of all Palestinians from the State of Israel.
The church-centered pro-Zionist group that influence the
largest voting bloc in the U.S.A, practice the reverse of
what their leaders say they believe. Southern Baptists and
most non-denominational mega-churches are led by TV
celebrities, profess that the Bible is the literal, inerrant
word of God, preserved by His hand. They teach not from the
ancient words, but from man added footnotes and commentaries
inserted into several popular study bibles, which often
avoid or deny Jesus words. This is the dark secret this sect
cannot face. This author's audio-visual presentation on

Asalaam o alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu!
After your speech in Washington DC, you have been engulfed
with threats to your safety and your Rizq. This has probably
caused you tremendous trepidation and some unrest.
I just wanted to remind you that Shaytaan has many ways of
sidetracking the Muslim who is struggling to become a
Momin.
One special way is to bring issues that interest the Muslim
and wrap him up in answering stupid false allegations thus
expending tremendous amounts of emotional, physical and
financial energy on that. Thus the time, energy, and
finances for dawah or sharing the message of Allah and His
wahdaniat are diluted and may even fizzle out.
Other ways that Shaytaan also derails the efforts of a
Muslim is by tantalizing him or her with a race against the
"bad" factors with a to and fro dialogue which has no
benefit to you or to those struggling to remain on the path
of Allah, but may keep you occupied and away from what is
beneficial.
In all of this I want to remind you of two things which I
pray that you will keep close to your heart:

Your Rizq is prewritten by Allah Subhanawataala, and you
will get it no matter what happens. If it seemingly
decreases (in case you are fired from Lincoln) inshallah you
will get it elsewhere, and only when the day of your death
comes you will run out of it. Thus all your efforts should
remain in getting the message of Tawheed out to the American
public who are starving for it and not worry about your Rizq
(Alhamdollillah you have demonstrated this).

Your day of death is prewritten, so no one can kill you or
maim you without the permission of Allah, and if He permits
them to do so, no one can stop it. Thus make lots of dua to
Him Subhanawataala to protect you from the oppressors (Surah
Baqara: 286)
Finally my humble suggestion is to continue your work in
Deen Fi Sabillallah, keeping within the circle of the
etiquette and manners of our beloved Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh). Continue to make dua to Allah Subhnawataala to
release you from all difficulties and ask Him Subhanawataala
to give you complete Tawakkul in Him. (Surah Taubah
129).
Most importantly as you probably already do, ask for His
forgiveness and His protection (Surah Al Mominoon 118).
Please remember that "with each difficulty there is
ease."
Just my humble suggestions. May Allah grant you health,
wisdom, energy and Protection in all that you do in His
path.

Action Alert: Egypt - Enforced Disappearance of Camilia
Shehata
1. Alert
Six months have passed since Camilia Shehata, the
26-year-old wife of a priest,
raised as an Orthodox Christian in Egypt disappeared after
converting to Islam.
She fled from her home on July 18, 2010 and was found five
days later by police.
The police handed her over to the Coptic Orthodox Church.
According to the Egyptian Constitution, 'no adult can be
held against their will
or returned to their family' and 'personal freedom is a
natural and protected
right'.IHRC calls on the Egyptian government to find out the
fate of Shehata to ensure
her wellbeing.
2. Background
Camilia Shehata, schoolteacher
and wife of Tedaos Samaan, a priest in Mar Gerges
Church in Deir Mawas, disappeared on July 18, 2010. Her
husband and family
accused Muslims of abducting her and converting her to
Islam. Samaan also
organised Coptic demonstrations in front of the Cathedral
attended by hundreds
of Copts who were calling for her return and condemning the
Security Services
for not helping them find her.
Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper
stated 'the headmaster of Bani Salem Preparatory
School—where Shehata worked—said she booked a 15-day
vacation and took all her
financial entitlements before she disappeared on Sunday
afternoon'. 'The head of
the local Post office said Shehata withdrew 43,000 Egyptian
pounds from her
account before she went missing.'
Sheikh Moftah Fadel, who accompanied Shehata to Cairo,
stated that she had
converted to Islam a year and a half ago secretly. She also
celebrated her
conversion to Islam with her Muslim colleagues at school
according to
Aljarida.com.
Sheikh Fadel went with Shehata to Al-Azhar in Cairo and was
going to be a
witness to her testimony to Islam. Shehata intended to
certify and declare her
conversion. Sheikh Fadel claims that the officials gave in
to instructions from
the security agencies and declined to complete the
conversion formalities. On
the next day, the police arrested her and she was forcibly
returned to the church.
The church later announced that Shehata was not abducted by
Muslims, and that
she had left her home of her own free will.
Muslims have held many demonstrations calling for the
release of Shehata. They
have called on the church to let her appear in public as
they were deeply
concerned about her whereabouts and wellbeing. Demonstrators
held pictures of
Shehata wearing a black veil and signs bearing "I will die a
Muslim".
According to Al-Masry Al-youm newspaper church
sources stated that: "The Pope
would not permit Shehata to make any public appearances even
if demonstrations were held daily."
The church later announced that Shehata is currently under
its protection and is
receiving 'psychotherapy sessions.'
The story of Shehata is similar to that of Wafaa
Constantine, wife of a priest
who converted to Islam and was forcibly returned to the
church by the police in
2004 but was never seen again.
The disappearance of Shehata is considered an enforced
disappearance by the
Church with the help of the Egyptian security agencies who
forcibly handed an
adult citizen, against her will, to the church. This is in
clear violation of
the Egyptian Constitution which stipulates 'the personal
freedom is a natural
and protected right'. Her involuntary disappearance is also
in violation of
Article 2 of the International Convention for the Protection
of All Persons from
Enforced Disappearance which states that: ""enforced
disappearance" is
considered to be the arrest, detention, abduction or any
other form of
deprivation of liberty by agents of the State or by persons
or groups of persons
acting with the authorization, support or acquiescence of
the State, followed by
a refusal to acknowledge the deprivation of liberty or by
concealment of the
fate or whereabouts of the disappeared person, which place
such a person outside the protection of the law."
Freedom of religion is a basic
human right. Egypt adopted the Universal
Declaration of Human Right in 1948. According to Article 18
of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights states that:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience
and religion; this
right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and
freedom, either
alone or in community with others and in public or private,
to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and
observance."
IHRC calls on the Coptic Church and Egyptian government to
reveal the fate of
Camilia Shehata who has been out of sight for six months
now.
IHRC is deeply concerned about Shehata's physical and
psychological wellbeing.
It calls on the Egyptian government to use its authority to
insure the safety
and freedom of Shehata, and to impose pressure on the Coptic
Church to release
her. Shehata was allegedly seen in a video aired on TV
channels and the
internet, however the authenticity of the video is disputed
and it is believed that the person in the video is not Shehata.
IHRC urges all campaigners to write to UN Working Group on
Enforced or Involuntary
Disappearances, Egyptian Minister of Interior and the
Egyptian
embassies to reveal the whereabouts and the fate of Camilia
Shehata Shehata.

Muslims-Africans face Police Terror: Afia's 19 Year old

LONDON — Like many areas across the UK that have a large
black population, the community of Willesden in the Borough
of Brent is in a constant state of police containment.
Even though the metropolitan police and white media in this
country most often choose to justify this military
occupation in the area through their constant slander of
African youth as being gun toting and knife wielding drug
barons, most Africans you meet on the High Road here are
seriously mistrusting of the police.
As with most places throughout the African world, this is
not without good reason. Afia Asantewaa and her family, who
have always lived in this area as a family, are no strangers
to state slander and terror. In fact, they are a prime
example of the kind of terror that isolated Africans are
forced to endure in the area.
Afia's 19-year-old son, Tyrone, was diagnosed eight years
ago as having Special Educational Needs and learning
difficulties, and has not had access to any of the support
or facilities that the state say he is entitled to.
But, this is just a small part of the attack on Tyrone and
his family. Over the past five years, Tyrone has been
subjected to about 300 incidents with police. In one example
of many, Afia details how her son was beaten up in a local
shop by youths. One of these youths was spotted in the back
of a police car on the street where the family lives, while
the cop in front pointed to the house.
Despite the eye-witness statement of the Indian shopkeeper
stating that Tyrone was the one who had been attacked,
Tyrone was charged and convicted of assault. On another
occasion, the police had invaded the family's home and
manhandled Afia. Then she was arrested, charged, convicted
and fined for assaulting the cop!
Sister Afia, speaking at a Conference for Justice for Ricky
Bishop — who himself was murdered by Brixton Police in 2001
— held in November in Brixton, described her son's life as
being a cycle where the state takes him from either his home
or the street to a cell, to a court room, back onto the
street and then to a cell again.
Tyrone has spent very little of the last five years at home.
He has spent most of those years institutionalized in either
prison, court, police station or mental health institutions.
Whilst Afia was preparing to come to the meeting on that
cold Saturday in November, she was called once again by
Brent Police to inform her that they had her son in custody
and that she was welcome to join them at the station as an
appropriate adult for Tyrone.
Brent Police could not have been more insulting if they had
slapped her in the face with a wet fish! Having already
decided themselves to choose an unknown social worker to act
as appropriate adult for her son, they were attempting to
lure her down to the police station and further frustrate
her by not allowing her to see her son.
Afia, having been bitten by this venomous tactic before, was
not buying it and flatly refused to go to the station. Since
the meeting, Tyrone has been picked up on a further three
occasions for reasons mostly unknown. Even the solicitors
and barristers — who at one time appeared supportive and are
supposedly meant to represent Tyrone — appear to be in on
the act.
They are withholding information, appealing for more home
visits from the police who continue to terrorize Tyrone and
going against Afia's wishes by beginning proceedings before
she could get the much needed medication for her son.
The International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement
(InPDUM) in Brent and the rest of the world are absolutely
clear that the attack on Afia Asantewaa and her family are
not unique, but are a part of the British government's
public policy of police containment, in order to put down
any idea that Africans may have in our heads about resisting
its domination of us.
It is also our understanding that the only way to resolve
this contradiction — and to ensure the same policy that
killed Ricky Bishop and is being used against Tyrone is
destroyed for good — is through organized resistance of the
African community and into a single mass movement.
In the words of the great Malcolm X, "You don't take your
case to the criminal! You take your criminal to court!" It
is for this reason that we are engaged in a process here in
the UK and throughout the world to build the World Tribunal
for Reparations to Africa and African people, which will put
the state on trial for the crimes they commit against
African people like Afia and her family.
What you can do:
Call-in to the police switchboard to verbally protest
against the treatment of Tyrone. Below is a guideline
script for the phone calls.
They will try to ask for your address, but you do not have
to give them any information other than your name. Make
sure they give you a reference number as confirmation that
they have registered your complaint.

"I am calling to exercise my democratic right to protest
against the ongoing vicious attack that Brent Police are
implementing in the black community with regard to Tyrone
Burton of Willesden and his family. I understand that
Tyrone has been persistently targeted by Brent Police since
2005 and over the last few weeks in particular has spent
most of his time either within your custody or at court,
most of the time not even being aware of why he is being
held. I demand an end to this ridiculous harassment that
has seen over 300 police troops march through Tyrone's
family home with little, if at all any, regard for this
family's rights. Disciplinary action and charges must be
brought against all individuals of the force who are
involved. Police must be accountable to the people and
should not be free to terrorize the community with no fear
of repercussions."

Historic One Day Strike in ALL of Georgia's Prison.
One in every 13 Georgian Adults is in Prison

In an action which is unprecedented on several levels,
black, brown and white inmates of Georgia's notorious state
prison system are standing together for a historic one day
peaceful strike today, during which they are remaining in
their cells, refusing work and other assignments and
activities. This is a groundbreaking event not only because
inmates are standing up for themselves and their own human
rights, but because prisoners are setting an example by
reaching across racial boundaries which, in prisons, have
historically been used to pit oppressed communities against
each other.
The action is taking place today in at least half a dozen of
Georgia's more than one hundred state prisons, correctional
facilities, work camps, county prisons and other
correctional facilities. We have unconfirmed reports that
authorities at Macon State prison have aggressively
responded to the strike by sending tactical squads in to
rough up and menace inmates.
Outside calls from concerned citizens and news media will
tend to stay the hand of prison authorities who may tend to
react with reckless and brutal aggression. So calls to the
warden's office of the following Georgia State Prisons
expressing concern for the welfare of the prisoners during
this and the next few days are welcome.

Analysis of the Source of Attacks on Hadith
An Interesting Point about Imam Bukhari

Part of the Euro-American war against Islam is the
systematic assault on the credibility and authenticity of
the Hadith. Anti-Islam scholars see Hadith as a promising
target because they believe that a certain segment of
Muslims is vulnerable to an attack on Hadith. One of the
developments of neo-colonialism was the emergence of
westernized elites in each Muslim country who were well
versed in western poetry, drama, fiction, admired the
scientific developments in the West and despised the
religious populists among their own people whom they labeled
broadly as mullahs.
There was some justification in the reaction to the mullahs.
A conventional type of religious preacher/teacher had become
commonplace who was not well-grounded in Islamic studies and
often used weak or out-of-context hadith narrations to
arrive at broad generalizations. These preachers were also
sectarian in their approach to religion and created a
picture of hadith related Islam which repulsed even those
westernized elites who wanted to return to their Islamic
roots.
Owing to the proliferation of these shallow preachers, the
elites did not see (or could not see) that authentic Islamic
scholars were also coming forth to lead the nation, among
them people like Abul Ala Maudoodi, Syed Qutb, Imam Khomeini
and Shaikh Omar Abdel Rahman.
Ploy Number 1
Attack on the Hadith is carried out under the slogan of
Quran only. Thus the attack can resonate among Muslims who
though westernized have considerable loyalty to Islam. It is
often not seen as an attack on Islam at all but rather as an
attempt to purify Islam.
The beginning point is usually to claim that Imam Bukhari
himself, the foremost among compilers of hadith selected
only a couple thousand hadith from among the 600,000 or so
which he found.
Here is a typical comment on Hadith from G. A. Pervez . With
reference to the collectors of Hadith, he says:
"They found hundreds of thousands of Hadith but there were
very few among them which they (the collectors) declared
sahih (correct or authentic) and recorded them in their
compilations. By the way, notice how many hadith these
persons found and how many hadith they selected for
inclusion in their compilations:

Imam Bukhari
.
Out of 600,000, leaving out repeats, he
took only 2762.
2. Imam Muslim. Out of 300,000, only 4348.. and so on he
goes on with the remaining six books of Hadith.
He concludes thus:
Obviously when the acceptance and rejection of hadith
depends on the compilers perception, who can say that out of
this dump of hundreds of thousands which these persons
rejected, how many authentic hadith might have also been
wasted. As for the many hadith among those which these
persons chose, which can in no way be considered the words
and actions of the Prophet (pbuh), will be clarified further
on in this book. (Matalib al-Quran volume 4 by G. A. Pervez,
pages 352 and 353).
This quote is important because it has become the staple of
anti-Hadith polemic during the more recent war against
Islam. Notice the attempt to speculate and cause doubt: "who
can say."
The date of publication is important: 1981.
The publisher is the Perwezi sect's organization called
Idara-e-Tolu-Islam.
This could have been just an individuals misunderstanding of
Hadith. However, the publishers present Pervez as
Mufak-kir-e-Quran [The Quranic Thinker]. Important here is
Pervez's dishonesty. He did not admit an important fact that
these objections against Hadith have been brought by ALL THE
FAMOUS CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY WRITERS. In a translation of The
Life and Message of Muhammad (pbuh) by Allama Saiyid
Sulaimam Nadwi by Mohiuddin Ahmad (published in 1977, four
years before Perwez's book), we are given precise
information on the Christian missionary charge against
Hadith relating to the SPECIFIC ISSUE of the few hadith
selected out of 600,000 etc by Bukhari and others.
The following FAMOUS Christian writers contended on the
basis of Bukhari's selection from 600,000 and Ibn Hanbal's
out of 7,500,000 that hadith was all a mass of forgeries and
dubious reports. These charges occur in a variety of forms
in:

Pervez was not a scholar of Hadith and he cleverly
concealed the probable source of his attack on Hadith which
was:
Christian missionary polemicists.
Pervez was not only not a scholar of Hadith, he did not
know even its basics. Unfortunately he made a virtue of his
ignorance. In simplified form, here are a few points which
will help readers understand why there were so many hadith
and Bukhari only selected a couple thousand:
1. If a hadith is narrated by a hundred students of the
companions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), it is counted in
hadith narration as ONE HUNDRED HADITH. Thus the text is
only ONE, but the chains of narration come from many
narrators. Take the first hadith in Bukhari's Sahih: IT IS
NARRATED by way of many chains of narration. The Prophet
said (pbuh):
ACTIONS SHALL BE JUDGED BY INTENTIONS. If 70 students of the
Prophets companions heard this hadith from hazrat Umar
(r.a.), one of his companions, that would start 70 chains of
narration. The students student would have his own student
and school of learning, etc.
IMAM BUKHARI would look at the 70 chains of narration (or 70
hadith) and SELECT THE ONE HE CONSIDERED the MOST RELIABLE
OR COMPLETE.
The process goes on with all the hadith he selected.
He is not leaving out any fabrications. [He would not even
consider fabrications.] He is leaving out chains of
narrations which are not the best. [For numerous specific
examples, see Azmi's STUDIES IN EARLY HADITH LITERATURE,
1968 and Mustafa Sibais AL-SUNNAH Wa MAKANATUHA FI AL ISLAM,
1961.]
The full title of Bukhari's compilation contains the word
Al-MUKHTASAR which indicates clearly that he was NOT trying
to collect ALL the correct Hadith but a selection of
authentic hadith.
[For our Urdu readers, if a person selects some of Iqbal's
poetry, and compiles a selection of what he considers the
best, that does not mean that the poetry he does not select
is FABRICATED and does not belong to Iqbal.]
This is only one of the proofs that Pervez was a charlatan
and a liar deliberately publishing false stories against
Hadith to spread distrust and suspicion against the second
sacred source of Islam, the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh).
