A grandmother who has spent her life in defending the
oppressed and the downtrodden, fought for the rights of the
illustrious Islamic scholar Dr. Omar Abdel Rahman pro bono.
Her release of the Blind Shaikh's message to the Egyptian
people was seen as a terroristic act by the US. The Egyptian
tyrant Hosni Mubarak is a close ally of the US, second only
to Israel.

2. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui will be sentenced by a New York
court on September 23. Dr. Aafia was kidnapped by
US-Pakistani special forces. Her case has become a national
cause in Pakistan. On September 17, the Pak Interior
Minister pleaded with the US to send her back to Pakistan to
alleviate anti-US feelings. The Pakistani embassy is said to
have spent $10 million in her defense to no avail.

message of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. Please support his work.

Fill the court room on 9.23: Judge Richard Berman has
changed Dr Aafia's sentencing date from August 16, 2010 to
September 23, 2010 at 9:00 AM in the Federal Court Building
at 500 Pearl Street in Manhattan, New York.
3. Homaidan al-Turki: US Muslims are bringing the case of
this Saudi student back to light. Looks like this young man,
a PhD student in linguistics, was railroaded. The facts of
the case are as follows:
-
Homaidan is deeply dedicated to Islam and as a
student in Colorado was doing da'wa, distributing Islamic
literature through his publishing house.
-
He has strong support in the Muslim communities
of Colorado and they packed the court during the trial.
-
He has a wife, who loves him, and five
children
-
He has a clean record as a family man and has a
good academic record.
-
Since 1995, US intelligence services had been
shadowing him. They saw him as an Islamic militant. After
9.11, the anti-Muslim feeling, especially against Saudis,
hardened.
-
It appears that the FBI was studying al-Turki as
a potential terrorist but could find nothing against him.
Hence they decided to destroy him in a way which would not
only put him in prison but would alienate his Muslim
supporters.
-
They started interrogating his maid, Zulaikha,
from Indonesia. The family had brought her all the way to
USA and she was very happy.
-
The FBI kept interrogating Zulaikha. She soon
realized that they wanted to bring charges of sexual
molestation and "slavery" against al-Turki.
-
She resisted the FBI through ELEVEN
interrogations and refused all attempts to make sexual
allegations against al-Turki.
-
During the 12th interrogation, looks like she
broke down and "admitted" to all that the FBI wanted her to
say.
-
Hence in 2006, Homaidan Al-Turki was sentenced to
26 years in prison. The maid received papers to stay and
work in the US. Charges of illegal stay in the US were
dropped against her.
-
Homaidan's wife had also been arrested but the
husband and wife agreed that she should accept a plea
bargain against him so that the children would have at least
one parent.
-
On her return to Saudi Arabia, the wife
categorically denounced the mock trial. The maid too has
been contacting the family to apologize for the betrayal of
which she was a part.
-
During the trial, there were vicious attacks on
Islam by way of trivialization of the Islamic dress code.
The wife, the daughters and the maid all wore the strict
Islamic clothing prevalent in Saudi Arabia. The US
government took the line that Islamic clothing oppresses and
subjugates women and that the clothing was one way of
"enslaving" the maid.

Homaidan rejected all the charges of sexual
immorality brought against him. He said that the maid had
been treated like his daughter.
-
With the stereotyping of women in Islam,
especially in Saudi Arabia, which is prevalent in the U.S.
media, the jury accepted the maid's story and convicted
al-Turki without any evidence. No DNA, nothing.
-
The wife of Homaidan has spoken out very
strongly, al-hamdulillah, and his case is now supported by
millions of people in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
-
Let the voice of Homaidan be heard. The media
have censored him, the Zionists enjoyed it, and CAIR etc
covered it up as soon as possible.

A committee has been set up to bring back the
case and to defend Homaidan. Let's join hands for justice.

Our America: Israel will be defeated, inshallah
Unusual Program about Zionism at Lincoln University.
Students must learn "context."
Dr. Siddique responds to questions about "his" anti-Israel
Video
On September 16, 2010 an unusual event sponsored by Dr.
Leaman of the Religion Department took place at Lincoln
University. Dr. Kaukab Siddique was invited to respond to an
email sent to Lincoln university professors which included a
video showing Dr. Siddique calling for the destruction of
Israel, by peaceful means if possible. Dr. Leaman's and Dr.
Siddique's students attended the 80 minute session and asked
a range of questions after watching the video.
Dr. Leaman began the program with a chronological power
point presentation about the history and development of
Zionism which showed the emergence of Zionism as a tiny
Jewish movement which became the mainstream of Jews after
Israel was successfully established in Palestine. Dr. Leaman
indicated the population of Jews and Arabs in Palestine
before Israel took over.
The following is a summary of the points made by Dr.
Siddique:
-
Islam does not permit Muslims to fight Jews or
Christians because they are Jews or Christians. "There is no
compulsion in religion," says the Qur'an.
-
Muslims can't fight Christians because Muslims
love Jesus, pbuh, and believe that he brought the truth.
-
Muslims can't fight Jews because Muslims love
Moses, pbuh, and he is part of the Islamic belief
system.
-
Throughout history Muslims have protected Jews
and stood in their defense against the Crusaders from
Europe.
-
All the wars being fought today are being fought
in Muslim lands. Muslims are not trying to take over any
non-Muslim country.
-
Criticism of wrong doing is part of truth
telling. The New Testament, for instance, is very critical
of the Jews who insisted on crucifying Jesus, pbuh. The New
Testament is not anti-Semitic. It criticizes the wrong doing
of the Jews, not their race.
-
My criticism of Israel is based not on hatred of
Jews but on facts which cannot be denied.
-
Israel has occupied Palestine by force of arms.
-
Israel has committed genocide. There are four
million Palestinian refugees.
-
Even a gentle person like President Carter, who
recognizes Israel, has compared Israeli occupation in the
settlements to Apartheid.
-
At this very moment, the ENTIRE POPULATION of
GAZA is de facto in a concentration camp ruled by Israel and
denied basic facilities of life.
-
CONTEXT: Education requires understanding of
context. Events do not happen in a vacuum.
-
My speech on September 3 (al-Quds day rally) was
cut up and sent without context to professors at Lincoln in
the Zionist hope that my colleagues would turn against
me.
-
Why did this "video" emerge in such a defamatory
fashion.? One important reason is that the major media do
not accept ANY criticism of Israel and do not invite me to
express the in depth rationale of my analysis of Israel.
-
The emergence of this truncated video indicates
that the Zionists now want to censor small and unpublicized
gatherings of their opponents.
-
Israel has been so heavily armed by the US that
it commits aggression routinely.
-
ALL OF AFRICA receives fewer funds from the US
than does tiny Israel.
-
A peaceful end to Israel is possible if the US
stops its funds and weapons to this aggressor entity.
-
Muslims are very kind to defeated people. We will
not slaughter the Israelis after they are defeated. We will
send them back to the countries they came from with all the
travel facilities they will need.
-
[Some questions were asked about 9.11.]
-
I do not believe in conspiracy theories. Nineteen
men attacked the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and four US
airliners on 9.11. They wrought havoc which traumatized
America.
-
The Nineteen have gone to the other world. There
is no point in attempts to punish the 1.8 billion Muslims
globally for 9.11. War is not the answer. The Muslims will
resist.
-
Why did 9.11 happen? I don't know. Perhaps there
should be a more thorough inquiry into the attacks.
-
Did conflict begin on 9.11? We forget that before
9.11, the US imposed the most horrific embargo and sanctions
on Iraq which resulted in the slow death of ONE MILLON
Iraqis over ten years [according to UN figures] including
500,000 children. The US had also encircled the holy cities
of Makka and Madinah. Terrible tyrants like Hosni Mubarak of
Egypt were supported by the US and Israel. Was 9.11 the
response to these tragedies? I don't know but we all need to
find out.

Should Americans feel threatened by terrorists?
This is the most powerful country in the world and its
Islamic opponents have neither tanks, nor artillery nor air
force nor intelligence services. We should not live in
fear.

The way to PEACE is through COMMUNICATION with
those who oppose America.
-
A sure way to PEACE is through acceptance of the
Right of Self-Determination for all peoples. Muslim nations
have the right to live according to Islam.
(During the Lincoln program, when the video showed Dr.
Siddique urging Muslims, in the words of the Qur'an, to
"drive them out from where they drove you out, a part of the
non-Muslim audience, African Americans, cheered.)
War News: All from Sept. 18.
Palestine: Israeli troops forced the brother of Iyad
Shilbaya, late at night, to lead them to him. He was asleep.
They shot him three times and killed. He was described as an
Islamic "militant."
Iraq: A series of attacks in areas controlled by the regime
installed in Bagdad killed 21 people and wounded others.
Also, there are reports of fighting in Mosul, Kirkuk and
Diyala.
Somalia: Al-Shabab mujahideen captured two radio stations in
Mogadishu which were used for anti-Islamic propaganda by the
western enclave. Mujahideen radio has replaced them.
Afghanistan: In areas encircled by US and Karzai forces
"elections" were held by America. Pro-Karzai people admit
that it was a farce and was based on large sums of money
injected by the US into its support groups. Taliban attacks
thwarted "elections" from being held in the South, South
West, and Eastern areas of Afghanistan.
[Editor's note: Under international law, elections held
under military occupation have no validity. India regularly
carries out this farce in Kashmir as did the US in Iraq and
Russia in Chechnya.]
Pakistan: Jamaate Islami Breaks all records of Service to
the People

September 17. In Karachi alone Jamaate Islami is feeding and
taking care of 40,000 displaced who took refuge in the city
from the internal areas of Sind.
In Punjab, JI is helping people to return to their
homes.
In the original areas of the floods, JI distributed Rs.
50,000,000 worth of goods and food before it started its
latest drive.
In a mark of great confidence and trust, a Sikh delegation
which had collected Rs. 1,000,000 worth of relief supplies,
handed them over to Jamaate Islami for distribution.
International Aspect of Moves against US Muslims by
Secularist Pakistani.
[The following report is about Mr. Hussain, a member of MQM,
an anti-Islamic clique which rules Karachi, Pakistan. Mr.
Hussain was a personal friend of Benazir Bhutto. Mr. Hussain
is evidently a Shi'ite who like some Pakistani Shi'ites
dislikes other Muslims. His activities have helped the FBI
to trap US Muslims, particularly the poor and uneducated

Bomb-Plot Informant Testifies FBI Sent Him to Terrorist Camp
in Pakistan

The confidential informant at the center of the case against
four men accused of plotting to bomb New York City
synagogues testified that the Federal Bureau of
Investigation sent him to Pakistan in 2008 to attend a
terrorist training camp.
The informant, Shahed Hussain, told a jury in New York today
he went to his native country in December of that year to
meet someone at the camp. He didn't identify the
organization running the camp or discuss the result of the
investigation. "Are you a terrorist?" defense lawyer Susanne
Brody asked Hussain in cross-examination. "No ma'am," he
responded.
Hussain was testifying during the second day of cross-
examination by Brody, a lawyer with the federal public
defender's office who is representing defendant Onta
Williams. Defense attorneys have argued that their clients
are the victims of entrapment, poor men enticed into the
plot with the promise of cars, cash and food by Hussain.
The lawyers for the men have tried to portray Hussain as a
habitual liar who misled officials on applications for
political asylum, documents relating to his fraud case and
statements to parole officers. Hussain said he comes from a
family that owned businesses in Pakistan including
restaurant chains and a construction- supply company. One of
his cars was a gift from former Pakistan Prime Minister
Benazir Bhutto in the early 2000s, while she was in exile in
the U.S. and staying in Manhattan, he testified.
Gift From Bhutto
Bhutto, a family friend and neighbor in Karachi, invited him
to the hotel to meet him and gave him $40,000 cash to buy
the car for his son. Hussain said he was a member of the
MQM party that represents people who emigrated from India at
the time of Pakistan's independence in 1947.
The trial of Williams, 34, James Cromitie, 44, David
Williams, 29, and Laguerre Payen, 28, all of Newburgh, New
York, began Aug. 23 before Judge Colleen McMahon in federal
court in Lower Manhattan.
Bombing Plot
The men are accused of plotting to bomb a synagogue and
Jewish community center in the Bronx section of New York
City and fire heat-seeking missiles at military planes at
Stewart International Airport in Newburgh. The charges
include conspiracy and attempted use of weapons of mass
destruction in the U.S. They face as long as life in prison
if convicted of the most serious charges.
Hussain testified that he left Pakistan with his wife and
children with less than $2,000, using fake British passports
to go to Moscow and Mexico before entering the U.S. in 1994
through El Paso, Texas. He made his way to Albany, New York,
where he began working at a service station while applying
for political asylum, he said. He later bought a station
next to a state Department of Motor Vehicles office. He went
to work for the department as a translator. In January 2003
he was arrested in an FBI sting after a friend offered him
$1,000 to help obtain an illegal driver's license.
Guilty Plea
Hussain pleaded guilty to one count of attempted unlawful
transfer of an identification document in April 2003 and was
sentenced to five years' probation, he testified. He agreed
to work as an informant with federal prosecutors in Albany,
helping on about 21 cases including money laundering and
credit card fraud, and his probation was later ended, he
said. Hussain said he posed as a member of the
Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaishe-e-Mohammad who needed
to launder money from weapons sales. The FBI sting in 2004
led to prison sentences for a pizzeria owner and the imam of
a mosque in Albany, he testified.
In 2007, he began working with the FBI in White Plains, New
York. He said. It sent him to mosques to pose as a wealthy
businessman, he said. At a mosque in Newburgh, he met one of
the defendants, Cromitie, in June 2008, he testified. Three
months later, the FBI sent him to the training camp in
Pakistan, he said. Next he went to mosques in England
seeking "people who were expressing radical ideas," he said.
Back to U.S.
He returned to the U.S. in February 2009 and resumed working
on the Cromitie case, which culminated in the arrest of the
four men in a coordinated FBI sting outside the Bronx
synagogue on May 20, 2009. He said he has received about
$500,000 from a family trust fund since 1996, including more
than $200,000 in 2003 to pay debts relating to a bankruptcy
that year. The case is U.S. v. Cromitie, 09-cr-00558, U.S.
District Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan).

noble person for the dignity of the truth and destiny of the
course of Islam.
Sir, the Nigerian rebel group "boko haram",however sincere
their intention to practice Islam are not doing well at all
to represent the deen as they should. Their name means;
"studies or reading or learning from any other book other
than the holy Qur'an is haram." is that what [New] "Trend"
advocates or stand for? They consider all Muslims who don't
believe the way they do as "kuffaar" and "mushrikeen".
i believe, bearing in mind the foregoing facts, you may
endeavor, however possible, to admonish them to re-consider
and review their way of thinking and believe which is not

Dear Shaikh Tigani walaikum asalam. The situation in
Nigeria is worrisome. Corruption is rampant in the highest
circles. The regime recognized Israel without consulting the
people of Nigeria. Western powers and Christian missionaries
have taken over many areas and the evils of materialism and
tribalism are harming the nation. If AIDS starts spreading
owing to European influences, we might face a disaster like
that in South Africa. Boko Haram is led by people who have
given up the DUNYA for the DEEN. The army, armed and funded
by the US and Israel, slaughtered hundreds of Boko Haram
activists, destroyed their mosques and martyred their
leader. However, they are coming back. From what I have
read, they consider those who follow the West as kafirs.
They want Muslims to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah. Sufi'ism
has failed to stop Anglo-American influences; hence the
emergence of purely Islamic groups, somewhat like the
Taliban, seems to be the Will of Allah, inshallah. You
should talk to them and try to purify Sufism of western
influences.
