From Imam Badi Ali [Jamaat al-Muslimeen North Carolina]:
Spotlight #1: USA is bringing in many immigrants from Muslim
countries who are poorly educated, unable to deal with
American realities, uneducated in Islam, steeped in
superstition. Their "quality" is aversion to their own
people. Some of them even worked for Black Water. Muslims
must be aware of this effort to undermine Muslim communities
in the US.

America's Muslims, Silent,Terrified face layers of Oppression
By Kaukab Siddique, PhD
Part I.
There are an estimated 7 to 9 million Muslims in the USA.
However, when it comes to issues related to their rights and
the duties Islam makes obligatory for them, most of them
have nothing to say in public. Think of any issue related to
Muslims which would irritate the White House in the
slightest and the Muslims dare not say anything. Be it
Fallujah or the Red Mosque, be it Imam Jamil and the Blind
Shaikh Dr. Abdel Rahman, be it homosexuality and the
exploitation of women, be it the "droning" of Pakistan or US
backing for Egyptian tyrant Mubarak, King Abdullah, the
Nigerian army, General Kayani, the puppet regimes in Kabul,
Baghdad, Mogadishu, US Muslims have bnothing to say. Hardly
any Muslim dare say in public that Israel is an
illegitimate, terrorist entity.
Yet when Jamaat al-Muslimeen reaches out from mosque to
mosque, we find that the great majority of Muslims agree
with us and are strongly opposed to US-Israeli policies.
Muslims of America are being terrorized into silence at four
levels of oppression:
1. US Government's Oppression, bogus charges, bogus trials,
extensive use of informants, horrendous sentences based on
flimsy "evidence."
2. Fear generated by the corporate-zionist media, FOX,
MSNBC, CNN, PBS, the three evening news channels, the funny
late night shows, the chain of "mainstream" [actually
pro-Zionst] newspapers, and a variety of movies.
3. Puppet Muslim groups linked to the FBI, the White House,
the State Department, the Pentagon, etc which encourage
Muslims to conform to the government's view of what good
Muslims should be like. CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS etc openly
state that they are in bed with the oppressors. Mediocrities
like Nihad Awad, Mahdi Bray, Johari Abdul Malik, Abdul Malik
Mujahid, Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir etc are presented to the
Muslims as "leaders."
4. Occasional attacks on Muslims and mosques by deranged
individuals. Though quite insignificant, with no fatalities,
these are used by CAIR and other lackeys to create fear and
a sense of helplessness among Muslim communities. CAIR and
ISNA etc then present the US governent as the friends and
protectors of the Muslims. Most mosques have been
discouraged from exploring self-defense, legal and
professional. The government lackeys urge them to "leave it
to CAIR."
Our America
Crimes Against Women, Children and Defenseless People Have
Reached Horrific Proportions
by Sis. Abigail Anthony
The editor of New Trend asked Sis. Abigail, who recently
joined the New Trend research group: Many of the citizens in
Pakistan want to be like Americans and when I return for a
visit, they often ask me about America.
Her Answer: Have you ever thought about telling them
something like: Well, it's about the same as it has been
for many years, There is still a murder every 32 minutes, a
violent crime every 6 seconds, 1 robbery every 57 seconds, 1
physical assault every 7 seconds, 1 burglary every 10
seconds, 1 rape/sexual assault every 2 minutes (excluding
the assaults on children), a female victimization every 1.2
seconds.
One in every 32 citizens are either on probation, on parole
or currently in jail or prison, 5 children die each day from
child abuse (and 3 out of 4 of them are under the age of 4),
a case of child abuse is reported every 10 seconds, and 1 in
every 6 women have been molested.
That is just the reported cases...experts estimate that if
we included the non-reported cases of molestation, it would
bring the number to 1 in every 3 women in America have been
molested.

ICNA & CAIR Must pay for ruining 5 lives.
Five US Muslims Betrayed by ICNA & CAIR, Followed by FBI,
Arrested by Corrupt Pakistani police, Allegedly Tortured.
New Trend is putting together the story of five young
American Muslims who were arrested in Pakistan.
We must admit that without the efforts of famous Pakistan
human rights activist, Br. Khalid Khawaja, a long time
reader of New Trend, the five youths would have been rotting
in a US prison by now.
Don't forget how the Zionist American government treats
Muslims. Very recent is the case of Bangladeshi brother
Shifa El-Sadequee. Poor Shifa was kept in prison for 1300
days in SOLITARY CONFINEMENT before he was convicted and
sentenced. He had gone to Bangladesh to help the people and
to get married. Of course he does not like the bombing of
Iraq and Afghanistan, the occupation of Palestine by the
US-Israel. For that he is punished. He is certainly not a
terrorist like Hosni Mubarak, Olmert, Musharraf, King
Abdullah and other friends of the White House.
The five youths too wanted to go to Pakistan and help those
who are working for Islam.
We have been tracing what happened. Here is the process of
betrayal.
-
The parents of the five are members of ICNA. When their
ADULT children left for Pakistan, the parents talked to ICNA
about it.
 -
ICNA is a treacherous organization. It has confessed that it
has been in bed with the FBI for many years.
 -
CAIR is even more in bed with the FBI than ICNA. So. ICNA
licks the boots of CAIR, just as CAIR licks the spittle of
the White House, the FBI, the State Department and the
Pentagon in tandem with Mahdi Bray of MAS.
 -
CAIR passed on the info on the five Muslims to the FBI with
the suggestion that they are "extremists" or "potential
terrorists."
 -
The regime in Pakistan is not very different in its thinking
from CAIR. It arrested the youths.
 -
Imagine how shameless this dirty CAIR clique is that it got
five good Muslims arrested who were on a legal trip tro
Pakistan. They had US passports and Pakistani visas. CAIR
and Bray seem to think, like clones of the FBI, that a trip
to a Muslim country should be illegal.
 -
Once the Muslims of America lose their fear of these cliques
of collaborators and traitors, CAIR may have to pay millions
of dollars in damages for ruining five young lives.
 -
ICNA must pay too. After giving treacherous advice to the
families of the youths, ICNA simply lost interest in the
case. ICNA wants Muslim youth to go to Jewish owned Ten
Flags and other frivolities, not to Pakistan.

From here we let Khalid Khwaja, in Islamabad, pick up the
story: [The next 8 points.]
-
When the youths were arrested along with the father of one
of them, a US plane was waiting to take them to dark little
American prison cells, where they would be stripped naked,
treated like dirt, given a number, forced to wear prison
shorts and forgotten for a couple of years.
 -
Immediately Khalid Khawaja requested the Pakistan High Court
to stop their extradition till a hearing was held in
Pakistan. That saved the youths from immediate return to the
mercies of American Zionists who torture without leaving a mark.
 -
The Pakistani regime came under full American pressure. The
police refused to let Khawaja meet the youths. The police
even refused to mention on what basis the youths had been arrested.
 -
The five are being deprived of proper food, medical
treatment and are being kept in isolation; they had been
tortured and they have no contact with their relatives nor
are being allowed to see their counsels to assist them to
defend their cases, which is in violation of their rights
guaranteed under Articles 10 and 14 of the Pakistani Constitution.
 -
There are signs that the five trust Khalid Khawaja but he
has to fight in court for the right to meet the five,
 -
If Khalid Khawaja wins this case, inshallah, the five will
be released. They have done nothing wrong and participation
in Jihad is an Islamic duty.
 -
Jihad is an essential part of Islam. USA must stop confusing
Jihad with terrorism. If the five came to participate in
Jihad, no Pakistani court can convict them without changing
the words of the Qu'ran.
 -
Khalid Khawaja has a Moroccan family in his home who sought
refuge with him after the man of the family was shaheed,
Khwaja feels it is his duty to help all Muslims who are in
great need.

Obama: A Hawk On Military Spending
Steve Chapman
http://reason.com/archives/2010/01/14/is-obama-a-republican
Anyone who was hoping the administration would bring a
modest downsizing of the nation's defense establishment and
global military role has to be feeling like Bernard Madoff's
investors. Escalation is underway in Afghanistan, the Army
is expanding and the Pentagon is on the all-you-can-eat diet
.. .. Anyone looking back 50 years from now at objective
indicators would have trouble identifying a meaningful
difference between the current president and the previous
one .. .. Obama's policy on the war he once opposed is not
similar to George W. Bush's: It is identical.
Pakistan: Powerful Islamic Response to London Conference on Afghanistan
Defeated NATO is spreading Disinformation, says Syed Munawar Hasan.
by Shamsuddin in Lahore
[On January 29, 2010, Jamaate Islami's ameer, Munawar Hasan
addressed a large juma' prayer gather at Mansoora on the
outskirts of Lahore. Here are its main points.]
Syed Munawar Hasan said that masses would have to rise
against the present socio-political system based on
exploitation that was widening the difference between the
haves and the have-nots, making the life of the poor
miserable. Oppressive forces were knocking at every door and
the oppressed have to rise against tyranny, he added.
The US, he said, was projecting the Muslims especially the
Pakistanis as terrorists and extremists/fundamentalists and
denying them even the right to live whereas the Zionists,
Hindus or the Christians who were carrying on the genocide
of the Muslims in different areas were not labeled as
terrorists or extremists.
Referring to the London Conference on Afghanistan, the JI
chief said the US and the Western powers owed an explanation
to the world community for pulling down the Taliban
government and the tons of bombs dropped on Afghanistan over
the years.
He said that the Taliban had denied any talks with the West
or its representatives in Afghanistan. The Taliban, he said,
have announced that there won't be any talks unless the US
and NATO forces pulled out of Afghanistan. The defeated NATO
forces were only spreading disinformation, he added.
He said the United Nations had removed five Taliban
commanders from Black List. The question, he said, was why
had their names been put on the list if they were not
terrorists, or why were their names removed from the list if
they were terrorists.
Pakistan: Deeply Infiltrated
Photo below: General Kayani's latest move.
Photo shows Pakistan's top military General Kayani with
NATO's chief military officer. This meeting was on January
28, 2010. Kayani regularly gets his orders from NATO in
Brussels and has visited the CIA in USA. Pakistanis do not
realize that Kayani is the main agent of imperialism and
zionism in Pakistan. Zardari and Gilani are secondary
players. The USA has cleverly divided Pakistani attention to
let Kayani continue his assault on Islamic populations in
Swat and Waziristan, Mohmand, Adam Khel, Hangu and numerous
other area. His latest meetings with NATO relate to his
desire to let NATO let him participate in operations not
only against Pak Taliban but also inside Afghanistan.
War News: Afghanistan
Imam Killed by US Troops: He Was Waiting to take his
Children to School
Kabul. January 28, 2010. Troops in a US-NATO convoy fired at
and killed an imam named Muhammad Yunis while he was sitting
in a car with three of his children while waiting for a 4th
child to take them to school.
Washington Post reports from witnesses that the imam had not
made any threatening gestures. The troops did not stop to
see whom they had killed. He was not with the Taliban and
had come from his home in Laghman province to teach in
Kabul. He was the only bread earner for his brother's
children too, reports Washington Post.
There was a protest rally at nearby Camp Phoenix [US
military base] after the atrocity but it was soon called off
for fear US troops may kill more people.
War News: Pakistan
Five Islamic Villagers Killed in Latest US strike in Pakistan.
North Wazirista: January 29, 2010: A US drone fired three
missiles into the homes of Pakistanis suspected by the US of
supporting the Haqqani Islamic resistance group backing the
Taliban. At least 5 villagers were killed in the strike.
NATO Supply Trucks Hit Near Karachi
January 28, 2010: In the Baldia area of Karachi, Islamic
raiders hit three large trucks carrying supplies for the
NATO occupation forces in Afghanistan. All three truck
drivers were wounded. The trucks went up in flames.
Two Us Drones Shot Down by Villagers
North Waziristan: January 26, 2010: A US drone hovering over
the Afghan-Pakistan border looking for targets was shot down
by Islamic Pakistani villagers using automatic rifles.
Earlier on January 24, a US drone was hit by armed villagers
firing rifles near Miranshah in North Waziristan. It burst
into flames and crashed into the trees on the border.
[Jamaate Islami says US drones have killed hundreds of
Pakistan's civilians and have hit Islamic schools and
mosques.]
A disturbing message for the US & Iran: Analyzed by New Trend
Shaykh Usama Focuses on Gaza and Threatens New Attempts to
hit the US:
Strong Response from US-Israeli Authorities
Shaykh Osama's message: "From Osama to Obama." "It is unfair
for you enjoy a safe life while our brothers in Gaza suffer
greatly... Our attacks will continue as long as you support
Israel."
"America will never dream of security unless we will have it
in reality in Palestine."
Just when the US thought everything was under control in the
Middle East, along came a message from the leader of the
Islamic resistance. Evidently Shaikh Osama is not only alive
and well but is directing global moves against the US.
The message was transmitted by al-Jazeera and in it Osama
took credit for the attempted bombing of an air liner on
December 25 by a baby faced Nigerian Muslim who readily
admitted on being arrested that he was with al-Qaida.
Although the attack was aborted, it has already caused huge
economic losses and has messed up air travel.
The American response to Osama bin Laden's message has been
almost hysterical.
Obama's spokesman called Shaykh Osama a "thug." President
Obama was disturbed by this voice from the wilderness.
The Israeli government called his message "absurd" and
"despicable."
A self-styled expert on Shaykh, a Hindu named Gunaratna said:
"The Palestinian conflict was never part of the al-Qaida
original mandate, but Osama is clearly exploiting it,"
Gunaratna said.
Gunaratna has been misleading Americans for a decade. The
fact is that Palestine has been dear to Shaykh Osama from
the very beginning of his career in the Islamic resistance.
Gunaratna does not know that the messages of Shaykh Osama
till 2005 are now available in English. They were collected
and published by a professor at Duke University in North
Carolina under the title: Messages to the World. The
Statements of Osama Bin Laden.
The very first statement, published in December 29, 1994 is
titled: "The Betrayal of Palestine."
IRANIAN RESPONSE:
The Iranians pretend that Osama does not exist and al-Qaida
is an American invention. Iran's Press.tv came out with the
shaikh's message by repeating the word "alleged" throughout
the report. Iran's Press.tv also wanted to know how
al-jazeera got the message.
According to reports in a Saudi Arabian anti-terrorism
conference, more than 50 web sites are distributing the
messages of al-Qaida. Iran seems to be under the impression
that perhaps someone on horseback has to come to
al-Jazeera's offices to deliver the message.
Iran sees Shaykh Osama as a big threat to its efforts to
infiltrate the Muslim world. It is holding the Shaykh's son
and other fighters under arrest in Iran.
Massachusetts Senate Election - A Beacon for the Democratic Party
By
Dr. Wilmer J. Leon III
A great deal of Massachusetts' history is tied to the sea.
Because of this, Massachusetts is also known for its
lighthouses. Lighthouses were once the trusted tool that
guided navigators through treacherous waters enabling them
to avoid coastal rocks and running aground. Like the
lighthouse, the election to fill the U.S. Senate seat from
Massachusetts should serve as a beacon to the Democratic
National Committee (DNC) and the Obama administration.
As the Democrats navigate through these treacherous and
rocky political waters the election of Scott Brown as the
Senator to replace Ted Kennedy should serve as a warning to
the DNC of the dangers of arrogance, complacency, and
disorganization. It should also serve notice to the Obama
administration of the dangers of failing to articulate a
consistent message and failing to deliver what was promised
to his supporters.
First, the DNC should recognize that Scott Brown did not run
a great campaign insomuch as Martha Coakley, like Cree Deeds
in Virginia, ran a terrible one. Coakley ran an elitist
campaign, failing to reach out to the communities that
helped to elect Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and
President Obama. According to the Boston Globe, "The lapses
were particularly noticeable in minority communities,
traditionally bastions of Democratic votes, which did not
turn out in high numbers..." As a demonstration of her
arrogance, Coakley took a week off and vacationed during the
campaign. According to The Hill, "Martha Coakley's New
Year's vacation may reign as one of the costliest political
blunders of all time." Even if you've "got it in the bag"
you never leave the bag unattended!
Second, President Obama's failure to rally the troops for
Coakley in Massachusetts, Cree Deeds in Virginia and Jon
Corzine in New Jersey is not as much of a repudiation of
President Obama and his agenda as Senator Mitch McConnell
and other Republicans would have us believe. It's more of a
statement about Obama's base refusing to respond to his
clarion call due to his failure to deliver on his campaign
promises.
Republicans, political pundits and even some democrats are
misinterpreting and misrepresenting Scott Brown's victory in
Massachusetts as a rejection of President Obama's agenda and
expecting this to reverberate throughout the country.
Republican Senator Mitch McConnell has mistakenly said,
"This was in many ways a national referendum principally on
the major issue we're wrestling with here in the Congress,
which is whether or not the government should take over
one-sixth of our economy, slash Medicare by a half-trillion
dollars, raise taxes by a half-trillion dollars and drive
insurance rates up for most of the rest of our
country..."
Actually, according to a Research 2000 poll commissioned by
Democracy for America, MoveOn, and the Progressive Change
Campaign Committee, respondents said if Democrats enact
tougher policies on Wall Street, they'll be more likely to
come back to the party in the next election. The poll also
provides some clarity on the role that health care played in
the election.
-
The poll reveals people who switched from Obama to
Brown - 48% -- or didn't vote - 43% -- said that they
opposed the Senate health care bill. But when asked why they
opposed it among those Brown voters that switched, only 23
percent thought it went "too far" -- but 36 percent thought
it didn't go far enough and 41 percent said they weren't
sure why they opposed it.
 -
Obama supporters who decided to stay home were
asked a three part question:
-
"do you think Democrats in Washington, DC are
fighting hard enough to challenge the Republican policies of
the Bush years,
 -
aren't fighting hard enough to change those policies,
 -
or are fighting about right?

The poll showed, 39 percent, said "not enough," 25 percent
said "about right, while only 12 percent believe Democrats
have been too ambitious.
The President said publicly on July 7, 2009 "I am pleased by
the progress we're making on health-care reform ..., as I've
said before, that one of the best ways to bring down costs,
provide more choices and ensure quality is a public option
..." Then in October, according to the Huffington Post,
"Obama has indicated a preference for an alternative policy,
favored by the insurance industry, which would see a public
plan "triggered" into effect in the future by a failure of
the industry to meet certain benchmarks." The perception is
he rolled over on the public option before the fight even
started.
In terms of unemployment the administration has made
tremendous progress on slowing the rate of job loss but has
yet to turn the corner on job creation. The simple equation
is; job's created equals votes cast.
The President supported and implemented a bail out for the
banks but has failed to bail out the American homeowner. At
the same time that banks are recording record profits and
paying out record bonuses, they have failed to increase
lending to small businesses (the real engine of this
economy), raised interest rates for consumer credit, and
continue to foreclose on peoples homes. That is not the
"change" Americans voted for.
The DNC should see the beacon of light from Massachusetts
and head the warning. Quality candidates running quality
campaigns are what win elections.
The recent election in Massachusetts is not a national
referendum or repudiation on the Obama agenda. It's a
repudiation of President Obama's failure to stand by the
"change" he promised the American people; his failure to
fight for "change", and his seemingly inability to
deliver.
During the election candidate Obama borrowed from Dr. King
when he reminded us of "the fierce urgency of now!" Now is
the time for President Obama to once again look to Dr. King
and heed his warning that, "This is no time to engage in the
luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of
gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of
democracy." Now is the time to deliver what you
promised.
The Obama administration needs to follow the beacon and heed
its warnings. The majority of Americans do not want the
country to go backwards as Senators McConnell, Graham, and
Lieberman want to take it. Americans want to move forward
and are looking for the President to fulfill his campaign
promises by navigating these rocky political waters and
safely delivering the country ashore.

Ismailis - followers of the Aga Khan : He claims that he is
god incarnate. A Great Danger Lurking within Muslim Countries.
A Letter from a former Ismaili
As-Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
May I for the sake of Allah (swt), His Deen and the Muslim
Ummaah, request you to please consider the following facts
very carefully and decide on your responsibility before
Allah (swt) in this matter.
I am a revert to Islam. I was an Ismaili before - a follower
of the Aga Khan. And I perceive an important Da'wah
responsibility which the majority of Muslims are for some
reason or other are ignoring. I am not getting you into
petty sectarian issues, but a very important matter - please
judge for yourself:
1. The Ismailis (followers of the Aga Khan) all professedly
believe that the Qur'an was time bound and was not meant to
be a Universal message for all times. They believe that
their spiritual leader, Karim Aga Khan, is the "walking -
talking Qur'an" and his "religious pronouncements" ,
whatever they may be, are the "guidance" for the present
times. The fundamental article of faith that there will not
be any NEW revelations or "wahy" after the Qur'an, is being
completely violated by the Ismailis.
2. The Aga Khan has officially Declared himself, before his
followers, as the "Mazhar of Allah on earth". The word
"mazhar" means "copy" or "manifest". Consequently, these
Ismailis who call themselves Muslims do "sujood" before him.
So even the primary axiomatic principle of Tawheed is being
fundamentally and formally violated by them.
3. The Ismailis are not instructed to offer the Islamic
Salaah, observe Saum or perform Hajj. They have replaced
Salaah with certain shirk-infested Dua'as (thrice a day).
They are told that their Hajj is a personal "Glimpse"
(Deedaar) of Karim Aga Khan.
4. The Aga Khan and his appointees 'forgive the sins' of the
followers on regular basis. Ismailis are misled into
believing that they will not be questioned on the Day of
Judgment for the sins that are already forgiven in their
Jamatkhanas (community centers). Forgiving of sins is the
exclusive prerogative and privilege of Allah (swt) alone.
Qur'an 3:135.
5. Against this backdrop, most of the poor (spiritually
poor) Ismailis who are not introduced to al-Furqan are
confused and misguided. Hence, Ismailis are very easy prey
to missionary efforts by various Christian groups and
Baha'is. I have known a couple of young ex-Ismailis who are
today preaching "Pauline Christianity" to Ismailis as
evangelical missionaries.
6. Karim Aga Khan's own daughter Zahra having married a
practising Christian has opened the gates for young Ismailis
girls to follow the footsteps of a family member of their
beloved Imam-e-Zaman. The parents of the Ismaili girls who
wish to marry outside of Islam have no recourse but to let
them go.
7. The Aga Khan has made Halaal for the Ismailis that which
Allah has made Haraam for the humans. Taking of interest
(usury) is not forbidden by the religious instruction
classes run by the "Tariqaah" board of the Ismailis. As a
matter of fact, the much publicized "Venture Capital"
program (details on the website of FORBES Magazine - search
under "Aga Khan"), of loaning funds on interest by the AKFED
(Aga Khan Fund & Economic Development) , has been a great
success. Similar entrepreneurial projects are now being
actively promoted and introduced to poor Muslims of
Tajikistan and neighboring areas.
8. The Muslim Ummaah and the various Muslim leaders are not
fully aware of these Un-Islamic acts and beliefs of this
community of less than two million members, who claim to be
the Ismaili Muslims. Surprisingly, their leader Aga Khan
claims himself to be a spiritual leader of 15 million
Muslims and a Direct Descendant of Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).
9. Earlier, one did not have authentic books on Ismailism,
but it is not so anymore. There are two authentic books as
well as one comprehensive web site exposing the inner
practices of the Ismailis and the Proclamations (Farmans) of
the Aga Khans. Hence, now you have no "hujjah" argument or
excuse left before Allah (swt) for not taking up the task of
inviting the misguided "Ismaili Muslims" towards the Deen of
Allah (swt) and not safeguarding them from committing
unpardonable sin of Shirk.
10. The Aga Khan in collaboration with so many Western
powers and aid, has set up the world-wide Aga Khan
Development Network (AKDN) which runs several institutions
and service companies both in the profit and not for profit
sectors. This network is very actively operating in
Pakistan, India, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Bangladesh, and
has now started concentrating its efforts in Tajikistan and
the neighbouring areas where there is a concentration of
Muslims who have not known or openly practised Islam for the
decades. By taking up economical, social, educational and
rural development efforts through NGOs (Non-Govt.
Organizations) within the AKDN, the Ismailis and the Aga
Khan have gained wide acceptance amongst these countries and
masses. Hence this urgent appeal.
11. Now all these beneficiaries are "obliged and grateful"
to the Aga Khan and his followers and his organizations for
the much-needed schools, medical centers, hospitals, various
projects and programmes. In this manner they are penetrating
and infiltrating the support system - and one fine day, the
Muslim Ummaah will wake up to the unexpected realization
that they have a community of so called Muslims, practicing
the Un-Islamic Tariqaah, in charge of all core and support
activities. Each of these much-needed projects will have the
photos of Aga Khan decorating the walls.
In the name of Allah (swt) and Islam, kindly urge our
Brothers and Sisters to do Da'wah to the Ismailis, who
otherwise will, on the day of judgement, hold us responsible
for not conveying the Revealed Truth to them. Dear
Brother/Sister, you know much more on the subject than what
little I have learnt since reverting to the Deen of Allah
(swt). It hurts to see the misguided simple minded people
die on SHIRK because we did not amply warn them before their
deaths.
I am aware of your stature as a religious leader of repute,
respectability and acceptance among Muslim Masses, and hence
have sought to put this appeal to you. I request you to
seriously consider this request and initiate all steps that
you consider Wajib and appropriate. To spread the "Truth"
and eradicate "Tagoot" is a significant, major Sunnah of the
prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).
May I also request you to please forward this e-mail to at
least five (if not all) of your Muslim friends and activists
so that greater awareness of this issue is created, and this
request reaches a wider audience. Please do so. JazakAllah."
In case you wish to seek any further clarification please
feel free to e-mail a message. I will Insh'allah respond. I
apologize in advance, if this happens to be a repeat
message.
May Allah (swt) shower His Choicest Blessings on the entire
Muslim Ummah. May Almighty Allah bless you and keep you in
the service of Islam and Muslims. Aameen.
Jazak'Allah and Was Salaam,
Yours in the Service of Islam,
Akbarally Meherally
Who are the Uighurs? - World Blog - msnbc.com - Pass the Word!
See yourself, how Chinese government and its Han majority
treated Muslims (aka Uighur) for over two centuries. Also
realize the fact that after culture revolution, forced
assimalation, loss of their language and culture, economic
onslaught, rape of their resources including oil, gas, and
now Uranium, lack of development in their areas except for
Han Chinese settlers and businessmen, religious persecution
and allowing only elderly to attend masajid, Muslims have
survived in the Western territories of China. Please support
these forgotten Muslims with your prayers, becoming aware of
their plight, and raise your voices in support of Uighurs
rights for self-determination.

Haiti: A reminder
While I was watching the news today (01/13/2010) concerning
the earthquake, reporters constantly reminded us of Haiti's
poverty. It is the poorest country in this hemisphere was
repeated. Let us look back at the history of why Haiti is
such a poor country. I doubt the media will inform us of
this.
I will quote extensively from two books by Randall Robinson
"An Unbroken Agony: Haiti, From Revolution to the Kidnapping
of a President". The other book "Quitting America: The
Departure of a Black Man from his Native land"
From "An Unbroken Agony", page 21;
"As punishment for creating the first free republic in the
Americas (when 13 percent of the people living in the United
States were slaves), the new Republic of Haiti was met with
a global economic embargo imposed by the United States and
Europe. The embargo was strengthened by a further demand
from France for financial reparations of roughly $21 billion
(2004 dollars) as compensation from the newly freed slaves
for denying France the further benefit of owning them. It
would be the first time in history that reparations would be
imposed by a defeated nation on the nation that had defeated
it."
"American economic sanctions against Haiti would not end
until the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, nearly sixty
years after the founding of the free Haitian republic."
"In 1825, twenty-two years after L'Ouverture's death, the
Haitian army was no longer the feared fighting force it had
once been. France, threatening to reenslave Haitians,
imposed an ordinance requiring from Haiti a payment of 150
million francs and a 50 percent tariff reduction for all
French ships docking in Haiti.* To meet the first payment of
30 million francs under the terms of the ordinance, the
government of Haiti was constrained to borrow the full
amount from a private French bank, MM Ch Ternaux Grandolphe
it Cie."
"After extended negotiations, in 1838, under the Traite'
d'Amitie' (Treaty of Friendship), the original obligation of
150 million francs was reduced to 90 million francs, with
the government of Haiti required to make thirty annual
payments of 2 million francs in order to pay off the 60
million franc balance. Haiti had to make these payments in
addition to payments it had been making to a succession of
private banks from which it had to borrow at onerous
interest rates in order to meet the terms of its original
obligation to France."
"And forcing slaves who had won their freedom to compensate
their former masters for their lost property was recognized,
even in the 19th century, as a violation of human rights and
international laws. By the time of the 1825 Ordinance, the
international slave trade had been abolished and the
reintroduction of slavery into free territories forbidden by
the Second Treaty of Paris and the Congress of Vienna - both
of which France had signed in 1815. Human Rights
Advocates
*From a statement by Human Rights Advocates, an American
organization that supports efforts to win restitution from
France for the Haitian people: "Compare the (French-)
imposed cost of Haiti's independence - 150,000,000 francs -
to the price paid by the United States to France for the
Louisiana purchase - 80,000,000 francs for an area of land
seventy-four times that of Haiti and one can only begin to
sense the enormity of the reparations burden and the
extortionate terms imposed."
"As late as 1915, 111 years after the successful slave
revolt, some 80 percent of the Haitian government's
resources were being paid out in debt service to French and
American banks on loans that had been made to enable Haiti
to pay reparations to France."
"In 1922, seven years into a nineteen-year American military
occupation of Haiti that resulted in 15,000 Haitian deaths,
the United States imposed a $16 million loan on the Haitian
government to pay off its "debt" to France."
"The American loan was finally paid off in 1947. Haiti was
left virtually bankrupt, its workforce in desperate
straits."
"The Haitian economy has never recovered from the financial
havoc France (and America) wreaked upon it, during and after
slavery."
Agony, page 57;
"On April 7, 2003, The Bicentennial of Toussaint
L'Overture's death, President Aristide announced the
findings of a restitution commission formed by his
government. The commission determined that France owed Haiti
$21 billion, the value in current dollars of the money
France extorted from Haiti following its successful slave
rebellion. On October 12, 2003, the president convened a
four-day international conference of experts at Haiti's
National Palace to further discuss Haiti's restitution claim
against France for repayment of the debt. Among the
participants were French historian, human rights
commissioner, and author of The Crime of Napoleon, Claube
Ribbe, and Tulane law school professor Gunther Handl, a
respected authority on international law."
Indeed, much of Haiti's current problems are directly
attributable to the exploitation and repression during
France's colonial rule, as well as the brutal, far-reaching
measures imposed on Haiti by the major powers in response to
Haiti's declaration of independence... Arguments supporting
France's right to have drained Haiti's treasury were not
persuasive 200 years ago, and they are not persuasive now.
As legal scholars and litigants, we are willing to work with
Haiti to seek redress from France, and this deserves
broad-based international support."
Professor Charles Ogletree
Harvard Law School
"France was not the only Western society that would
capitalize an industrial economy with proceeds amassed from
slave labor. The United States, Spain, Holland, Denmark, and
Great Britain would do much the same."
"The personal and public wealth of Britain created by slave
labour was a crucial element in the accumulation of capital
that made the industrial revolution possible, and the
surviving profits have remained a bold element with specific
families and within British society generally, cascading
down from generation to generation, in John Major's
felicitous phrase. In this context, the demand for
reparations is a serious position, similar to the claim put
forward by the nations of Holocaust survivors for the return
of property stolen by the Nazis. Black people whose
forebears were slaves, victims of that other Holocaust
[Maafa], are simply asking for the stolen fruits of their
ancestors' labour power to be given back to their rightful
heirs."
Richard Gott
Guardian
January 17, 2007
"If Britain owes reparations to the descendants of the
enslaved Africans whose uncompensated labor, in large part,
financed Britain's industrial revolution, France owes Haiti
a great deal more than the $21 billion Haiti applied for in
late 2003."
"Over a century and a half, France not only appropriated the
worth of Haiti's enslaved population's toil but also forced
Haiti to pay reparations to France following the Haitian
revolution. France's real debt to Haiti thus amounts to the
$21 billion France exacted, in addition to the assessed
value of the labor of the Africans France enslaved in Haiti
from the mid-seventh century to the end of the slave revolt
in 1804."
"One month after the conference, in December 2003, French
foreign minister Dominique de Villepin sent his sister to
Port-au-Prince to tell Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the
democratically elected president, that it was time for him
to step down."
From "Quitting America", Randall writes, page 200;
"I'll try to make this as painless as possible, but
Americans really must learn that one needs to know, at
least, a little of what went on in the past to have any
chance at all of understanding the present. Between
Toussaint's heroic rebellion of 1791 and Aristide's stunning
election in 1991 (with 67 percent of the vote to the
U.S.-supported candidate, Marc Bazin's, 14 percent), the
United States has done documentably some quite awful things
to the people of Haiti:"
-
During the rebellion itself, the United States joined
European powers in aiding France's violent suppression of
the slave uprising.
 -
The United States blocked Haiti's participation in the
Western Hemisphere Panama Conference of 1825 and did not
recognize Haiti until 1862, when President Abraham Lincoln
thought of Haiti as a convenient repository for freed
American slaves. Said Senator Robert Hayne of South Carolina
in 1824: "We never can acknowledge her independence.... The
peace and safety of a large portion of our union forbids us
even to discuss it."
 -
Placatory toward France, the United States accommodated its
European ally as France pressed Haiti for 150 million francs
to be paid in reparations to the slave plantocracy for
losses suffered in the slave's successful quest for freedom.
This served early on to destroy the new black republic's
fragile economy.
 -
During the American military occupation of Haiti, which
began under President Woodrow Wilson on July 28, 1915, and
lasted for nineteen years, de facto slavery in Haiti was
reinstituted; Haiti's constitutional system was dismantled;
226,000 acres of Haitian soil were given over in
concessional lease arrangements to American corporations;
fifty thousand peasants were dispossessed in the North
alone; workers were forced to toil for twenty cents a day,
and the U.S. Marine Corps" "pacification" efforts claimed up
to fifteen thousand lives.
 -
In 1937, three years after the American occupation had
ended, Rafael Trujillo, ruler of the neighboring Dominican
Republic, ordered troops to undertake a massacre of Haitians
that claimed eighteen thousand to thirty-five thousand
lives. Afterward, Cordell Hull, the U.S. secretary of state,
said: "President Trujillo is one of the greatest men in
Central America and in most of South America."
 -
President John F. Kennedy provided the murderous Haitian
dictator Francois "Papa Doc" Duvalier with broad military
assistance, in the words of Noam Chomsky, "as a part of a
general program of extending U.S. control over the security
forces in Latin America, a long-standing project carried a
long step forward by the Kennedy intellectuals, who
recognized that 'in the Latin American cultural environment'
the military must be prepared to remove government leaders
from office whenever, in the judgment of the military, the
conduct of those leaders is injurious to the welfare of the nation."
 -
Under Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier, the ruthless
dictator's ruthless son, the United States funded efforts to
establish American assembly plants in an environment of
terror and pittance wages. Chomsky: "The consequences were
profits for U.S. manufactures and the Haitian superrich, and
a decline of fifty-six percent in Haitian wages through the 1980's."
 -
The United States provided the post-Duvalier National
Council of Government (NCG) with $2.8 million in its first
year, a year in which the NCG killed more Haitian civilians
than Jean-Claude Duvalier had killed in fifteen.

Now you know that the aid being given to Haiti is no more
than reimbursement. Aid tends to make money for U.S.
companies because goods and services are paid by taxpayers'
money to these companies providing the goods and
services.
Now we know.
