Spotlight #1: From Imam Badi Ali
U.S. Muslims should become creative. Why don't they sue
organizations helping Israel? Why don't they sue for death and
injuries of Palestinians hurt by Israeli forces and settlers funded by
American Zionists?
Spotlight #2 : From Imam Badi Ali:
Muslims who have no jobs in America and see no future improvement,
should go back and help the countries they came from. If they are not
doing Da'wa, what's the point of staying here and being mistreated and
wasting their lives?
So much in rapport with this spotlight, we have received a beautiful
text from the Qur'an sent by Sis. Aqsa:
Migrate For Islam
"When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls
they say: "In what (plight) were ye?” They reply: "Weak and oppressed
were we in the earth.” They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious
enough for you to move yourselves away (from evil)?” Such men will find
their abode in Hell: what an evil refuge!
Except those who are (really) weak and oppressed men, women and children
who have no means in their power nor (a guide-post) to direct their way.
For these there is hope that Allah will forgive: for Allah doth blot out
(sins) and forgive again and again.
He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah finds in the earth many
a refuge wide and spacious: should he die as a refugee from home for
Allah and His messenger, his reward becomes due and sure with Allah: and
Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.[The Qur'an 4:97-100]
Comment by Sis. Aqsa: *Note:Migration is for those for whom it
is possible.
For Muslim unity, DIVORCE is a terrible evil. This is a Hadith
with deep wisdom selected by Br. Kaukab Siddique to stop Muslim men
from hasty actions:
" The messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah, be on him,
said: "A true Muslim man should never hate his true Muslim wife. If he
dislikes one of her manners, he should look at others of her ways which
he likes." [Hadith in Sahih Muslim, narrated by Abu Huraira, r.a.]
A must for Muslim readers. Have you read Br. Shamim Siddiqui's book
Al-FATEHA and ITS Significance? It's the best book in English on this
subject. Order it for only $6 from New Trend. It is scholarly and
inspiring. See an extensive review in the next issue.

Outreach: Muslims in North Philadelphia: Papers on Latest Arrests,
Swat, Iraqi Girl, ISNA's "imam"
Jamaat al-Muslimeen Representatives:
Br. Aquil and Br. Tariq
May 29, 2009: Philadelphia is a big city. In its northern branch, there
is a sedate little masjid attended by Bangladeshi and Pakistani Muslims.
After Juma' salat, information on issues facing the ummah was given
here to 88 Muslims.
The papers included info on:
-
Nine Year old Abeer [Iraqi girl], raped and murdered by U.S. soldiers
who also slaughtered her family.
 -
Swat, Pakistan: Heroic resistance by Maulvi's Fazlullah's forces stalls
U.S.-Backed Pak army offensive.
 -
More than 2 million made homeless in Swat by Pak. army: plus Maulana
Maudoodi's comment on Rule of Law vs Justice.
 -
Three African Americans and a Haitian Muslim arrested in New York: Role
of the informer in bogus case.
 -
Role of Informer 'imam' Siraj Wahhaj [ISNA leader] who helped to
imprison Shaikh Omar 'Abdel Rahman
 -
Imam Badi Ali's Fatwa condemning Pak army action, urging Du'as for
Taliban victory.

A young man ["white"] has embraced Islam at this masjid. Jamaat gifted
the English translation of the Qur'an to him.
Funny moment after distribution: A Pakistani immigrant [somewhat
westernized] read the info and told a bearded Pakistani standing near
him: This is about Maudoodi whom you support. It has info which you
don't even know..

Obama: Day 127
Holy Land Foundation Sentences Outrage Decency, Morality and Justice
Supporters of HLF Divided U.S. Muslims and had no Agenda, Program or Honor
by Kaukab Siddique, Ph.D., with the help of New Trend researchers.
Outside the court: From left, Zaria, daughter of Abu Bakr, Eman,
daughter of El-Mazain, Noor, daughter of Eliashi. Their fathers helped
the widows and children of Palestinians and were sentenced by a
pro-Zionist U.S. court to outrageous sentences.
May 27, 2009: Bush used to terrorize, imprison and traumatize U.S.
Muslims. He did it openly and unashamedly. Obama is doing exactly the
same thing but is doing it with a smile and much talk of change and
friendhship with Muslims.
Look at what happened at a U.S. court in Dallas, Texas on May 27.
[Source: Palestine Chronicle.]
"A US court has sentenced the former heads of a Muslim charity to 65
years in prison for allegedly providing aid to the Palestinian
group Hamas.
Shukri Abu-Baker, the charity's ex-chief executive, and Ghassan Eliashi,
its former chairman, were two of five Holy Land Foundation employees
convicted last year of giving more than $12m to Hamas.
"I did it because I cared, not at the behest of Hamas," Abu-Baker told
a Texas court on May 27, according to a Dallas Morning News
website report.
Holy Land's co-founder, Mohamed El-Mezain, who is related to Mousa Abu
Marzook, a Hamas leader, was sentenced to 15 years in jail for providing
aid to the group.
The others Mufid Abdulqader, the brother of Hamas political leader
Khaled Meshaal, and Abdulrahman Odeh, the charity's New Jersey
representative, were convicted on three counts of conspiracy.
Odeh was sentenced to 15 years while Abdulqader, the foundation's
fundraiser, received 20 years."
New Trend's research of the case indicates that this was an Israeli
court in disguise, pretending to be American. Much of the abuse
directed at the defendants came from an Israeli secret service agent
whose name was not revealed but whose anonymous testimony was accepted
by the court. This was a kangaroo court.
There is absolutely no evidence provided by anyone that Holy Land funds
went to Hamas. The fact that two of the defendants are related to Hamas
leaders is probably the reason why the court went beyond all the
boundaries of law to sentence the four pious Muslims.
Hamas has never fought against America. This is not a radical group
like al-Qaida or even Taliban. Why was it possible for the court to
carry out such a blatantly shameless verdict against these 4 Muslims
who love America and have always wanted to be part of the
American system?
Here is what New Trend has found:
Treachery within the Muslim community led to alienation, division
and betrayal:
-
The Muslim groups who claim to be leaders of U.S. Muslims [particulary
Arab Americans] did NOTHING to mobilize the Muslims of America against
the excesses and crimes of the U.S. administration. In fact CAIR, ISNA,
ICNA helped to bring about a Muslim bloc vote for Bush. The U.S.
Muslims, 7 to 9 million strong, were left defenseless against
U.S.-Zionist oppression. [The star of the ISNA-CAIR grouping, Hamza
Yusuf claimed that criticism of the Jewish holocaust story is
tantamount to doubting the authenticity of the Qur'an! Yusuf and his
side kick Zaid Shakir worked hard to create an "American Islam."]
 -
The 4-letter groups have admitted that they have been in bed with the
FBI. Thus the Muslims had no way to fight back against the government
and were led to believe that the pro-Zionist regime in Washington is
their friend and ally.
 -
ISNA-CAIR-ICNA-MAS etc gave no agenda, no position on issues and no
sense of Islamic pride or honor to the Muslims of America.
 -
Holy Land's supporters helped to divide the Muslims of America. These
"leaders" observed silence, or at most uttered a few soft grumblings,
about the oppression of the Muslims of America in general and of the
real leaders of Islamic movement in this country in particular.
Remember the silence of ISNA-ICNA-CAIR-MAS about Dr. Omar 'Abdel Rahman,
Imam Jamil al-Amin, Dr. Ali Timimi, Ahmed Abdel Sattar, Masoud Khan,
Jose Padilla, Dr. Kifah al-Jayyousi, Siddique Abdullah Hasan and the
list goes on. So when the Holy Land people were arrested, convicted and
sentenced, most American Muslims felt so alienated as to say nothing.

President Obama: Will do worse than Bush
The desire to be part of the power structure [the love of DUNYA, the
attraction of Pharoah's power, the love of comfort and wealth] is so
intense in ISNA-CAIR-ICNA-MAS that they keep repeating their
catastrophic blunders. This time they again went with the flow and
voted for Obama.
They ignore the facts on the ground. Think of this deep hostility Obama
has displayed towards Muslims from January 2009-May 30, 2009:
-
Complete silence on the destruction of Gaza by the genocidal Israeli
military, armed and funded by the U.S.
 -
Continuation of the occupation of Iraq.

New and accelerated invasion of Afghanistan.
-
Assault on Pakistan, directly through drones, indirectly through the
Pakistani military armed and funded by the U.S.
 -
Complete and unqualified support for the Jewish American grouping AIPAC
working for Israel.
 -
Cases against spies connected to AIPAC and Israel dropped in clear
violation of U.S. laws.
 -
Obama's affirmation that Bush and his team will not be tried or even
interrogated for torture against Muslims. [Gtmo is still open 130 days
after Obama's inaugural.]
 -
Obama's refusal to release photos of serious crimes against humanity
committed by the U.S. in Iraq.
 -
U.S. military man convicted of the rape, murder and incineration of 9
year old Iraqi child, Abeer al-Janabi, and the murder of her family,
given a mild sentence [from which he may be paroled].
 -
Ft. Dix Muslims [from Albania] given LIFE TERMS for conspiracy charges
in which NOTHING happened.
 -
And now the shameless, utterly immoral, indecent sentences
handed out to the Holy Land officials who helped the widows and
children of Palestine.

Conclusion: Muslims of America should become more sophisticated
in their understanding of the American power structure. Only people
with childish imaginations would think that they can go right to the
top by massaging the ego of the people in power. We are 7 to 9
million Muslims in America. Unity on the basis of the Qur'an and Sunnah
can make us a formidable force. We must teach our chidren. The
American people are our friends. The American power structure is our
enemy and is oppressing Muslims all over the world. Elijah Muhammad,
Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, Imam Jamil al-Amin, Assata Shakur
knew America.
Four hundred years of slavery and the physical extinction of ENTIRE
Native peoples were the products of a power drive which can be seen
today in the legitimization of the Jewish terrorist entity known as
Israel, and in the re-colonization of Africa, and the occupation of
Iraq and Afghanistan, and in the growing assault on Pakistan.
Nine year old daughter Abeer al-Janabi, we are beginning to understand
what you faced!

Protester death sparks fresh Kashmir clashes, 25 hurt
Wed May 27, 2009 8:29

SRINAGAR, India (Reuters) - At least 25 people were injured in Kashmir's
main city on Wednesday when hundreds of stone throwing residents,
angered over a young protester's death, clashed with Indian troops,
police and witnesses said.
Police fired scores of teargas shells to disperse protesters who took
to streets for a second day on Wednesday in Srinagar, Kashmir's summer
capital, to protest the death of a 20-year-old student.
The student was hit on the head by a teargas shell fired by police last
week during a protest against Indian rule in the disputed region. He
died on Tuesday.
Last week's protest rally was the biggest this year in Kashmir which
was hit by massive anti-India demonstrations last year.
A police official, Abdul Qayum, said the injured included eight security
force personnel. "The clashes continue," he said.
Tens of thousands have been killed in the disputed Himalayan
region since a revolt against Indian rule broke out in 1989.
But overall violence has fallen significantly across Kashmir since
India and Pakistan began peace talks in 2004, although New Delhi has
imposed a "pause" in that dialogue after the Mumbai attack in November.

Obama: Day 128
Our America:
Iraq abuse photos depict torture, rape
By PAISLEY DODDS
Associated Press Writer
Thursday, May 28, 2009
LONDON — A former U.S. general said graphic images of rape and torture
are among the photos of Iraqi prisoner abuse that President Barack
Obama's administration does not want released.
Retired Major Gen. Antonio Taguba, who oversaw the U.S. investigation
into the abuses at Baghdad's Abu Ghraib prison, was quoted as telling
Britain's Daily Telegraph in an article Wednesday that he agreed with
Obama's decision not to release the pictures.
"I am not sure what purpose their release would serve other than a
legal one and the consequence would be to imperil our troops, the only
protectors of our foreign policy, when we most need them,” Taguba was
quoted by the Daily Telegraph. "The mere description of these pictures
is horrendous enough, take my word for it.”
The prisoner abuse scandal at Abu Ghraib exploded after photos taken by
soldiers appeared in 2004.
According to the Telegraph, the new photos depicted much more serious
abuses than previously documented. One photo reportedly showed an
American soldier apparently raping a female prisoner and another was
said to show a male translator raping a male detainee, the
paper reported.
The Telegraph said the photos related to 400 cases of alleged abuse
between 2001 and 2005 at Abu Ghraib and six other prisons. It was not
immediately clear from the newspaper report who had seen the photos or
how they might have been obtained.
The newspaper said the images in the photos were backed up by
statements from Taguba's report into prisoner abuses at Abu Ghraib
obtained under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.
War News: Background
Iran Gave Exact Locations of Taliban Positions to U.S. Air Force
http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/spytalk/2009/05/iran-secretly-helped-us-bomb-t.html
Iran supplied U.S. diplomats with the location of Taliban military units
in Afghanistan after the initial bombing campaign in the fall of 2001
failed to rout them, according to former officials in the George W.
Bush administration.
The Islamic regime also gave the Bush administration "really substantive
cooperation" on al Qaeda after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, at one
point providing Washington with a list of 220 suspects and their
whereabouts, said one official, former White House National Security
Council Iran expert Hillary Mann Leverett.
Leverett said that in December 2002, after the U.S. gave Tehran the
names of five al Qaeda suspects it believed were in Iran, the regime
found two, which they delivered to the U.S. air base at Baghram,
in Afghanistan.

War News: Afghanistan: Taliban Raids in Northern Areas: U.S. Air
Force Officers Killed
Tue May 26, 6:24 am ET
KABUL (AFP) - A bomb attack on US troops north of the Afghan capital
Tuesday killed three soldiers and three Afghan civilians, military and
Afghan officials told AFP.
The blast was near Bagram, a town about 50 kilometres (30 miles) north
of Kabul, where the United States has its largest military base in
Afghanistan, officials said..
The attack took place in Kapisa province, about 10 kilometres northeast
of Bagram.

PAKISTAN: War Getting Hotter
Most of Swat Remains in Taliban Hands: Pak troops "control" Mingora
but lose Khwazekhela: New Fighting in Buner and Dir
On May 30, General Kayani's forces claimed to control ALL of Mingora
but the meaning of "control" was not clear. Fighting continued in
Mingora while the Paks also conceded that "many" of the Taliban had
left Mingora. Paks scored in a town called Bahrain where a local
Taliban commander and 23 Taliban were killed in a Pak attack.
On May 29, it appeared that Khwazelkhela was back in Taliban control
and was bombed by Pak aircraft resulting in 6 civilians killed and
15 wounded.
Our observers say, Swat is becoming another Afghanistan with the towns
in Pak army control and the countryside in the hands of the Taliban.
The populated areas still have 200,000 civilians and are being subjected
to curfew by Kayani and cut off of fuel, food and supplies of all kinds.
Counter Attack by Taliban: Sensitive Military Intelligence Center
Blown up in Lahore
PESHAWAR, Pakistan, May 28 (Reuters) - Pakistani Taliban claimed
responsibility on Thursday for a martyrdom gun and bomb attack in the
city of Lahore the previous day that killed 24 people and wounded
nearly 300.
The government said the attack in a high-security area where a police
headquarters, emergency services building and a military intelligence
office are located, was revenge for an offensive against the Taliban in
the Swat valley, northwest of Islamabad.
A militant commander loyal to Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud
also said the Lahore attack was in response to the offensive in Swat.
"We have achieved our target. We were looking for this target for a
long time. It was a reaction to the Swat operation," the commander,
Hakimullah Mehsud, told Reuters by telephone from an
undisclosed location.
"MAJOR ATTACKS" [Taliban want to Imitate Pak Military Tactics as
seen in Swat.]
Hakimullah Mehsud warned of more attacks.
"We want the people of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Multan to
leave those cities as we plan major attacks against government
facilities in coming days and weeks," he said.
Pak Interior Minister Rehman Malik told reporters after the Lahore
attack that the militants were on their last legs and getting
desperate. [Sounds like Rumsfeld in Iraq - Editor]
The car bomb brought down a government ambulance service building and
damaged a nearby office of the military's main Inter-Services
Intelligence (ISI) agency.
[Pakistani reports say that a senior military intelligence officer and
12 of his junior officers were killed in the martyrdom attack. The
explosion was massive and sent shock waves through the
military establishment.]
Numerous Taliban attacks on police in Kohat, D.I. Khan, Peshawar
and South Waziristan occurred along with back-to-back bombings
in Peshawar.
Pakistani armored columns have entered South Waziristan but have not
progressed. Several thousand people have left the area fearful of Pak
tactics as in Swat. The Orakzai area was bombed by the Pak air
force three days back
