Outreach #1 in Baltimore's Biggest Islamic Center: Condemn the beheading of a Muslim woman in Bridges TV case

March 27, 2009: Jamaat al-Muslimeen gave important literature to 200 Muslims after Juma' at the Islamic society of Baltimore [ISB]'s Masjid Rahma just outside the beltway on the west side of the city.

The document was an 8-page professionally produced paper. It contained a powerful article by a Christian friend of Jamaat al-Muslimeen, Charles Carlson of WHTT.org debunking Jewish-Zionist propaganda against Hamas. The document also contained important news of fighting in various Muslim countries, including Successful Taliban attacks in Afghanistan, Islamic victory in Swat [Pakistan] as well as news from Somalia, Algeria and Iraq.

A most striking aspect of the document was Jamaat's press release on the Bridges TV murder and ISNA-CAIR's responsibility for saddling the Muslim community with unIslamic miscreants in high positions.

The document also reminded Muslims of the crime years back by a Jewish settler named Baruch Goldstein who went into a mosque in occupied Palestine and killed many worshippers. The Jews hailed him as a hero.

As New Trend has been pointing out, for years, opportunistic Muslim 'leaders' have been working with the FBI to bring government agents into the Muslim communities of America. They have tried to give the impression that the forces of oppression are the friends of the Muslims. ISNA's magazine went to the extent of inviting Muslims to become Special Agents of the FBI. They violated clear teachings of Islam by claiming that they can be Muslims, have beards, wear hijab and be agents of the kafirs and taghoot.

New Trend uncovered the activities of these bootlicker, lick spittle groups. Now only those sections of the Muslim population hob nob with ISNA, ICNA etc who either do not know Islam or do not know the Qadiyani-type rapport of these groups with the enemies of Islam.

The FBI used them for EIGHT years to infiltrate Muslim communities. Fear, suspicion and division became hallmarks of the Muslims of America by and large. No American Muslim was doing anything related to "terrorism" yet informants and sell outs were frequently used to trap, imprison and convict Muslims.

CAIR, ICNA etc refused to speak out against the suffering of the Blind Shaikh [Dr. Abdel Rahman], Imam Jamil al-Amin, Ahmed 'Abdel Sattar, Dr. Ali Timimi, Masoud Khan, Jose Padilla, Dr. Kifah al-Jayyousi or anyone else trapped by the government. These 4-letter groups [like the Qadiyanis under British rule in India] flourished while the Muslim ummah suffered. [The Qadiyanis too had beards and their women wore burqa.]

After having used them, the FBI decided to dump them, now that everyone knows what they are upto. They have become ineffective in fooling Muslims.

Looks like the bootlicker groups conferred with each other and issued a joint statement claiming that they are THINKING of SUSPENDING [not ending!] relations with the FBI. They want to give the impression that suddenly they found out that the FBI is entering mosques and using informants! So they are considering "suspension." Obviously thes bootlickers think they can fool Muslims all the time and keep their jobs and the leadership they claim to have.

When the government decided to shut down the Holy Land Foundation, that was the only time these groups showed concern about governmental oppression. Anyone who used to call or contact Holy Land Foundation was put on a list of "unindicted co-conspirators." This is a legal ploy which helps the government to call in anyone who had contacts with the organization. It does not have any legal consequences. In the case of the Blind Shaikh, even people who were dead, like Dr. Mehdi, were listed. This kind of listing just shows the stupidity of the government. ISNA was listed but its biggest conference was co-sponsored by the State Department.

We urge Muslims not to be fooled by the games of the dunya-seekers.

Here are a few points Dr. Siddique made standing in front of Sudan's embassy:
  1. The ICC must be blind not to see the GENOCIDE Israel committed very recently in Gaza, or the horrific destruction of Iraqi cities by Bush or the crimes of NATO in Afghanistan or the tremendous suffering imposed on Somalia by U.S. backed forces. The ICC is being used to create a diversion away from Israeli crimes.
  2. The statistics issued by Zionist organizations about Darfur are FAKE. Darfur is a big area and no survey of any systematic nature has been carried out to support the statistics.
  3. There is great suffering in EVERY African country. The focus on Sudan is meant to demonize a major Islamic/African country. Internal conflict does not give European-Zionist powers the right to use their front organization like the ICC to intervene.
  4. Human rights and charitable organizations are often fooled by rebel groups because these NGO's do not know local languages. A rebel interpreter says that a woman is saying she was raped by an entire Sudanese unit! This fake story is picked up and distributed all over the world by the Zionist media.
  5. Beware of the role of the Washington Post and other such pro-zionist outlets in major cities. The Wash. Post does not represent even the people of Washington, DC, who are Black, let alone represent the people of Sudan or Africa. [Remember the Post's atrocity stories about Algeria which turned out later to be fake.]

Obama Declares War on Islamic Forces in Afghanistan and Pakistan: Vows military and Political Victory Along with Economc Control

President Obama has fulfilled his promise once again. He has ordered a series of complex military, political and economic moves aimed at the destruction of Islamic resistance in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. He sent 17,000 fresh U.S. troops to Afghanistan soon after his election. Another 4,000 are now being sent to train Afghans willing to become employees of the U.S. military. Obama will work in tandem with Karzai in Kabul and Zardari in Islamabad to fulfill his grand design. Iran will come in to help the U.S. where necessary. Obama has been led to believe that victory is not only possible but certain.

We can try to understand Obama's moves if we look at the central points in his argument for war. He tries to explain why the U.S. has to carry out a much expanded war. He is poorly informed but determined to act. His first point of justification is that:

" ... insurgents control parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan."

The use of the term "insurgent" indicates that Obama has been mislead. An "insurgent" is one who revolts against civil authority or established government. The Islamic movement known as the Taliban is certainly not a bunch of insurgents rebelling against civil authority or an established government. They represent the Islamic uprising of the Afghan people, in the southern, southeastern and western provinces against a puppet regime installed by the U.S. and now being supported by a conglomeration of European powers known as NATO. In fact the Taliban were the established government which was attacked in 2001 by the American air armada with the help of insurgents titled the "Northern Alliance."

The key word missing in Obama's Discourse:

Without understanding Islam, no one can understand either Afghanistan or Pakistan. Significantly the word "Islam" does not occur anywhere in Obama's entire speech. It would seem that Obama does not know that the Taliban would not exist without Islam. Pakistan would have no reason for existence without Islam. Obama seems to be under the illusion that Islam is not relevant in this situation. Karzai in Kabul and Zardari in Islamabad are not Islamic people and they have been able to convince Obama that Islam is perhaps a private religion. Herein lies the basic reason why Obama's war plan has no chance of success.

Let us Look at the Arguments Obama puts forth for war, in his own words:

"Al Qaeda and its allies -- the terrorists who planned and supported the 9/11 attacks -- are in Pakistan and Afghanistan."

This can't be accurate intelligence. If the U.S. really knew that Al-Qaida is in Pakistan it would know WHERE and would be working to attack and kill the leaders. [Obama specifically mentions the leader of Islamic resistance Osama bin Laden and the Egyptian Islamic leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.] U.S. drone attacks in Pakistan have hit Pakistani and Afghan Islamic fighters and civilians as well as Islamic refugees from Uzbekistan and Chechnya. No one from al-Qaida of any significance has been killed.
If they are in Afghanistan, why can't the NATO armada go after them? Why are 17,000 + 4,000 more troops needed when NATO is already there along with Karzai's tribal and sectarian allies?

If Obama knows that al-Qaida "planned and supported the 9/11 attacks" when will the American people be given that information? Planned? How? Without technology and telephone or computer communication? The most that can be said is that Shaykh Osama blessed the 19 fighters who struck U.S. targets on 9.11. Blessing by Osama can't be a lawful cause for armed occupation of entire countries. Obama's argument is very weak and will impress only those who have not studied the subject.

An Even More Bizarre Claim by President Obama:

Obama said:
"Multiple intelligence estimates have warned that al Qaeda is actively planning attacks on the United States homeland from its safe haven in Pakistan."



"Estimates" and "actively planning" are contradictory views. If these are merely "estimates" how can they claim "active planning?" The previous statement said that they are in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Here only Pakistan is being blamed. That does not look like an oversight but a specific EMPHASIS targeting Pakistan. Can Karzai stop the planning from being done in Afghanistan when the Taliban have infiltrated Kabul itself? The absurdity of Obama's argument is quite evident.

Eight years of Bush's war have shown that the mujahideen do not have any intercontinental technology. Only the Zionist story book can project an attack on the U.S. planned in a "safe haven" in Pakistan.

Then Obama Attacks and Insults the Taliban.
He said:
"For the Afghan people, a return to Taliban rule would condemn their country to brutal governance, international isolation, a paralyzed economy, and the denial of basic human rights to the Afghan people -- especially women and girls."

Surely Obama who believes in democracy should give Afghans the right to accept Taliban rule if they so desire. Obama's own new ambassador to Afghanistan has admitted that 900,000 children were going to school under Taliban rule. Most observers agree that crimes of rape and violence against women dropped to ZERO under Taliban rule. Shar'ia law provides basic rights to every human being. I would urge Obama to check out Shar'ia law before making sweeping statements against the Taliban. Case by case even now there is more justice in Taliban-controlled areas than under Karzai or Zardari.

Obama's Claim that Al-Qaida is Against Muslims and America is not!

Obama's final argument for war: He said:
"I remind everybody, the United States of America did not choose to fight a war in Afghanistan. Nearly 3,000 of our people were killed on September 11, 2001, for doing nothing more than going about their daily lives. Al Qaeda and its allies have since killed thousands of people in many countries. Most of the blood on their hands is the blood of Muslims, who al Qaeda has killed and maimed in far greater number than any other people. That is the future that al Qaeda is offering to the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan -- a future without hope or opportunity; a future without justice or peace."

It's clear that Obama is not a mathematician otherwise he would know that America and Israel have killed more Muslims than al-Qaida killed Americans, Australians or Spaniards. The nearly 3,000 were killed by 19 Arab Muslims who sacrificed their own lives in the process. They hit high value targets of the richest sections of American society as well as the headquarters of the military complex. In response America killed hundreds of thousands of Afghans in their humble villages and a million Iraqis. Neither the Afghans nor the Iraqis had anything to do with 9.11.

In its attacks on American interests, al-Qaida kills Muslims allied to the U.S. and sometimes, by error, totally innocent people. By no stretch of the imagination is the claim accurate that al-Qaida wants to kill Muslims who are not with the USA. Even in the Big Lie technique, Obama's info is disinformation which won't go far. America and Israel have the most accurate weapons in the world and have killed tens of thousands of Muslim civilians. Look at what happened in Gaza in January 2009. Obama claimed that the slaughter of innocent civilians was "Israel defending itself!"

Obama should investigate the causes of 9.11. Remember that decade of SANCTIONS on Iraq when a million Iraqis [UN figures] including children died a slow death. Surely a MILLION is more than 3000!

Pakistanis will Fight Back. Zardari and Kayani Do not Represent Islam or Pakistan.

If Obama thinks he can send elite commando forces into Pakistan with the help of Zardari and General Kayani, his disaster will be bigger than that of Bush in Iraq. The way to peace is to talk, communicate and create understanding. When Obama can talk to the Jews who have destroyed the economy of this country, why can't he talk to the Islamic resistance?

From the Bush experience, Obama should have learned that ISLAM will FIGHT BACK America has no right under any law to go into Afghanistan and/or Pakistan. Karzai, Zardari, Kayani can be [and probably have been] bought but the Islamic resistance is not for sale. The $1.5 billion a year might help Zardari to hang on to power [now that America has also united him with Nawaz Sharif] but that might not be for long. The Taliban are in no hurry. They can outlast America in spite of the American air force.

Syed Munawar Hasan Elected New Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan: [Featured many times in New Trend:

LAHORE, Mar 28: Syed Munawar Hasan has become fourth ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan after Qazi Hussain Ahmad, it was officially announced on Saturday.
According to a press release by JI Media Cell, 91 per cent of the total 23,480 permanent members (Arkaan) of JI cast their votes in elections held under secret ballot system, of whom a handsome majority elected Syed Munawar Hasan.

The JI is the only political party in Pakistan having a regular and transparent internal elections process, electing its central ameer every five years ever since its foundation in 1941. JI founder Maulana Syed Abul A'ala Maudoodi was the first ameer who was re-elected by the members until 1972 when he requested to be excused from the election process citing deteriorating health. Mian Tufail Mohammad replaced him and continued for three terms till 1987 when he requested not to be elected again for health reasons and was replaced by Qazi Hussain Ahmad. Qazi continued to be elected till 2009 when he requested the central Shoora not to elect him again for health problems and members elected Syed Munawar Hasan.

The Shoora selected three names for the secret ballot election process which also included NWFP ameer Siraj ul Haq and Punjab ameer Liaqat Baloch.

Syed Munawar Hasan hails from a distinguished family, based at Delhi before the Partition of the sub-continent. His father's name was Syed Akhlaq Hasan. He was born in August 1944 and as his family opted for Pakistan, migrated to Karachi in 1947. He obtained Masters in Sociology (1963) and Islamic Studies (1966) from Karachi University. As a student, he marked his presence as eloquent speaker, extempore orator and editor of the college magazine, while being a good player of badminton.

Syed Munawar Hasan joined National Students Federation (NSF) - a student body with leftist leaning – during the martial law era of Gen Ayub Khan and was elected its President in 1959. The real change appeared in his life when he got a chance to come closer to the activists of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) Pakistan and studied the writings of Mawlana Syed Abul A'ala Maudoodi. As a result, he joined IJT in 1960, became its member and soon was elected as President of its Karachi University Unit, Karachi City Unit and member of the Central Executive Council. Later, he reached its top slot and became all-Pakistan President in 1964 and served in that capacity for three consecutive terms. During his tenure as President, the Jamiat organized several campaigns mobilizing public opinion regarding education problems, system of education, women's education etc. etc.

He was active in leading the students' struggle against the martial law, a 'crime' for which he was sentenced several times to jail terms. He joined the Islamic Research Academy, Karachi as a Research Assistant (1963) and rose to its Secretary Generalship (1969). Under his supervision, the Academy published 70 scholarly books. He also rendered services as Managing Editor of the Monthly 'The Criterion' and 'The Universal Message', Karachi.

Syed Munawar Hasan became member of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan in 1967. He Served Karachi unit as Assistant Secretary, Secretary, Deputy Ameer and Ameer of the city. He was also elected to the Central Shura and the Executive Council of the Jama'at. He represented Jamaat at several platforms, including United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Pakistan National Alliance (PNA). He was also jailed during the struggle launched under the banner of Tehrik-e-Nizam-e-Mustafa against the government's oppressive policies .

Contesting National Assembly election in 1977, he secured the highest votes in Pakistan. He was Assistant Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan in 1992-93, and became Secretary General in 1993. He took part in a number of international conferences and seminars and has visited USA, UK, Canada, Middle East and many countries of the South East and South East Asia.

Syed Munawar Hasan is well versed in English. He is a welcome speaker in the country and abroad. Many of his speeches, mostly in Urdu, are also available in cassette form. He heads a number of planning and research bodies within the Jamaat.

He was married in 1974, has two children, a son and a daughter. His wife Ms Aisha Munawar has also remained the secretary general of JI Pakistan women wing and was also MNA in previous assembly.

"(WASHINGTON, D.C., 3/17/2009) - A coalition of major national Islamic organizations today announced that it is considering suspending outreach relations with the FBI, citing recent incidents in which American mosques and Muslim groups have been targeted.

In a statement, the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), said:

Muslim communities throughout the United States have made significant advances in promoting and contributing to a fair, free and pluralistic society.

Through civil rights advocacy, civic and political engagement, and the promotion of dialogue with interfaith leaders and law enforcement agencies, Muslim Americans continue to be a positive and stabilizing force in keeping our nation safe and secure from acts of violence and foreign threats.

Despite fear-mongering by a vocal minority, Muslim Americans are natural allies of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the wellbeing of our nation. Muslims are law-abiding and productive citizens who uphold the democratic principles of freedom, equality and justice.

Yet recent incidents targeting American Muslims lead us to consider suspending ongoing outreach efforts with the FBI.

In California, the FBI sent a convicted criminal to pose as an agents provocateurs in several of that state's mosques. An FBI agent allegedly told one of the mosque attendees that the agency would make his life a "living hell" if he did not become an informant.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) wrote in a recent statement, headlined "FBI Losing Partnership with American Muslim Community" - "Trust is the cornerstone of any partnership between law enforcement and communities. It can only be established and maintained through clear and open communication. Without this, trust is eroded and suspicions arise on all sides. This clearly does not serve anyone's interests...It is now up to the FBI and law enforcement agencies to re-engage with the Muslim American community, and re-build trust and respect."

Early last fall, the FBI began a disengagement campaign in its relations with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest and most respected Muslim civil rights organization. The FBI suspended contacts with CAIR pending the resolution of unspecified "issues."

In response, the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, an umbrella organization of many Muslim groups, suspended outreach to the FBI in February. The council's letter to the FBI stated in part:

"Our commitment to ensuring the rights, interests, and prosperity of American Muslims and all Americans is unconditional. We hope the FBI will have the foresight to restore its relationship with such a vital link to the American Muslim community."

We believe the FBI's unjustified actions are based on the May 2007 designation of some 300 groups and individuals, including several major American Muslim groups such as CAIR, the Islamic society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), as "unindicted co-conspirators" (UCC) in conjunction with the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas, Texas.

Making this unjust designation public violates the Justice Department's own guidelines and wrongly implies that those listed are somehow involved in criminal activity.

Bias and faulty premises dominated post-9/11 law enforcement analysis of the Muslim community and the threat assessment to national security. The waning days of the previous administration witnessed a flourishing of anti-Muslim activity.

There is even inter-agency information being disseminated that claims civil rights advocacy is part of a Muslim conspiracy to implement Shari'a law in order to destroy the United States. Recent government actions seemed to be based on this bizarre premise.

These McCarthy-era tactics are detrimental to a free society.

The credibility of all Muslim organizations who maintain ties to the FBI that do not react decisively is undermined in the eyes of the community. Our fear is that counter-intelligence programs are quelling lawful dissent.

What is most frightening is that FBI abuses are no longer covert, and are slowly being integrated into the already expansive laws regulating law enforcement activity.

Internationally, in light of President Obama's initiative of dialogue with the Muslim world, such actions negatively impact U.S. interests.

If the FBI does not accord fair and equitable treatment to every American Muslim organization, including CAIR, ISNA and NAIT, then Muslim organizations, mosques and individuals will have no choice but to consider suspending all outreach activities with FBI offices, agents and other personnel. This possible suspension, of course, would in no way affect our unshakable duty to report crimes or threats of violence to our nation.

We call on the FBI to reassess its positions on profiling and the use of informants as agents provocateurs within the Muslim communities. We further request objective evaluation of the sources of information and analysis utilized to formulate decisions.

Notwithstanding such requests, we call on Muslim organizations and individuals to petition their elected representatives to hold hearings to address these grave matters of concern to the Muslim community.

We fully expect that the President's calls for inclusion will not be derailed by irresponsible elements in and outside of government fomenting anti-Muslim bias in this great nation."
