On December 27, 2008 the Israeli Air Force struck a massive blow against the people of Palestine. At least 60 Israeli jet fighters started the massacre by attacking Islamic organizational and administrative structure related to and situated in civilian areas which provide manpower for Hamas traffic police and social system. Apache helicopters were then sent in to finish off the defenseless targets.

Then a second wave of 50 Israeli jet fighters struck leaving the ground littered with the dead and the wounded. According to official figures quoted by Reuters, 229 Palestinians were killed and 500 wounded. The actual losses are liable to be much higher as all the bodies are yet to be found. [Ed. note: This is comparable to the American use of B-52s in Afghanistan against the mud huts of the Taliban.]

India is poised to attack Pakistan in its soft underbelly, the Rajasthan sector, to cut off Karachi. Indian forces are also getting ready on the weak Pakistani defense line on the occupied Kashmir-Pakistani border.

Pakistani military is starting to realize the situation. At least 8000 Pakistani troops have been moved from the Islamic tribal areas to Sialkot [near Kashmir]. Pakistani air force is on high alert after disturbing Indian military moves.
Looks like the fighters who attacked Mumbai have started the process of strategic normalcy. Pakistani military forces should be guarding the border with India rather than trying to please America by trying to crush the Islamic forces known as Taliban and al-Qaida.

Outreach to Muslim Women: What Does Islam say about Women? Why do some Muslims Oppress Women?

On December 24, 2008 Dr. Kaukab Siddique addressed a women's study circle in Augusta, Georgia. The program began with a download of the Tafsir of verses 142-151 from sura al-Baqarah by Pakistani female mufassir and teacher Farhat Hashmi. A young sister who has just returned from Hajj gave an inspiring account of her visit to the holy city of Makkah.

Dr. Siddique spoke for about 45 minutes and then accepted questions from the all-female audience for about 20 minutes, plus another question answer session for 30 minutes after the formal meeting was over. Some of the main points he made were as follows:

Outreach to African-American Muslims: Speaking to Imam Jamil's Community on the Future of Islam and Muslims in America

On December 26, 2008 Dr. Kaukab Siddique gave the Juma' khutba at the Islamic Center in Atlanta run by Imam Jamil al-Amin's community. The Center was jam packed with worshippers, about 200 men and 100 women. It's a very vibrant and lively community, almost 99% African American and 1% African. It was almost like homecoming for Dr. Siddique and he was able to meet well known activists like Sis. Karima [Imam Jamil's wife, herself an attorney], Imam Nadim Ali, Br. Sabir Muhammad, as well as one of Imam Jamil's sons and several acquaintances from way back in Dr. Siddique's past.

As Dr. Siddique's khutba was about young people and children, a number of young men met him after the prayer with their sons to thank him for the khutba. Dr. Siddique got tremendous praise from a cross section of the worshippers during the lunch which followed the prayers. One line of praise, from an elderly brother who has seen it all in his life, can be quoted here: "The khutba was like a blue flame cutting through steel." [All praise belongs to Allah.]

I have been receiving your mails but somehow I never opened your mails as your mails would go to my junk mails. Today I have gone through your mail and found out that you are doing a wonderful job. I would like to draw your attention towards U.N. action of putting 4 members of Dawa on the terrorist list. One of them Mehmood Muhammad Ahmed Bhazaq is a Saudi national and he is in a jail in Riyad and other Haji Ashraf had died in 2002. This is the state of actions by the security council.

I am involved in the human rights activities specially we raised our voices for the abducted and missing people. I have also been quite vocal in the media against the terrorist and extremist activities of U.S. government and its puppets. U.S. is also trying to put general Hamid Gul and some other retired officer including me in the terrorist list and probably our government is also bowing to their demands.

Is it possible to have some kind of discussions on the subjects of extremism, terrorism and justice etc in your outlets with the American people. I am available to give the other side perception which is less heard.

Zakir Naik Under Attack: India's Muslims Show Signs of Being Mentally Oppressed, in Full Retreat

India's Muslims are impressive in numbers, about 120 million, but seem to be leaderless, confused and mentally oppressed.
In response to the attacks on Mumbai, the Muslims came with conspiracy theories of a great variety. Some of these are comparable to the American Muslim and Christian theories about the 9.11 attacks. The theories basically mean that India destroyed its own high value assets to be able to put Muslims in a corner and to attack Pakistan. [None are as ingenious as the theories of robot flown planes and Bush inventing Bin Laden and explosives put inside the Twin Towers, etc.]

The sources of actual war were not explored, be it the Indian occupation of Kashmir, the Indian support for NATO occupation of Afghanistan, the Indian link-up with Israel, or even the assault on Sikhs, Christians and Dalits by Indian upper castes.

Instead India's Muslims decided to scapegoat one of India's most outstanding Islamic scholars, Dr. Zakir Naik. It is incredible but true that Shi'ites in India are trying to get Zakir Naik declared a non-Muslim. The Shi'ites have gone to the Hindu governmental authorities to get Dr. Naik's conferences cancelled and to have him declared persona non grata. It appears that Dr. Naik commented on the Shi'ite version of the battle of Kerbala and made some comments which implied that Yazeed, who is blamed for the murder of Hussain, r.a., did not order or want the tragedy to take place. The Shi'ites [as in USA] are trying to put historic events beyond the scope of critical discussion.

The pro-western Muslim groups in India [somewhat like ISNA and CAIR in the U.S.] are also attacking Dr. Naik. They say that he has desecrated their sanctities by making comments which are seemingly supportive of Osama bin Laden. Dr. Naik apparently said that if America is not to be accused on terrorism, then on what basis can Osama be accused.

Like the U.S. government, the Indian power structure wants an "Indian Islam" [like "American Islam"]. Indian Muslims should hate Pakistan and be actually prepared to join the Indian army and fight Pakistan. [Sort of like ISNA's advertisements in its 'Islamic' Horizons urging U.S. Muslims to become Special Agents of the FBI.]

While Indian Muslims, leaderless, run back and forth, spewing conspiracy theories and condemning the Muslims of Pakistan, the Indian government conveniently suppressed the leading Muslim student organization SIMI and tries to blame it for "violence" and :"terrorism." This was the biggest Muslim organization and dared to speak on issues.

The Muslims of India are discouraged by their "leaders" to speak about SIMI [somewhat like ISNA-CAIR's silence about Shaikh Omar 'Abdel Rahman, Imam Jamil, Dr. Ali Timimi, Ahmed Abdel Sattar and other Islamic prisoners in the USA.]

The Murder of 'Usman, r.a. began the evil of sectarianism in Islam
WOMEN in Islam: Naila, the wife of Usman, r.a. by Dr. Kaukab Siddique

One of the most charismatic women in the first Islamic generation after the sahaba was Naila, the daughter of Farafsa. She became famous when in the year 28 of the Hijra she married Usman ibn Affan, r.a., the third rightly guided Caliph of Islam. She was from a Christian family in Kufa but was educated in Islam by the greatest woman of Islam, Ayesha Siddiqa, r.a., from whom Naila learned Hadith. She also narrated Hadith from her illustrious husband, 'Usman, r.a. [Again this is evidence that Hadith was narrated in the FIRST century of Islam, not in the THIRD as the munkareene hadith contend.]
In the year 35 hijri, Naila witnessed the tragic murder of her husband Usman, r.a. This great sahabi [companion] of the Prophet, pbuh., was the victim of sectarians who later came to be known as "Shi'as." These murderers were so cold-blooded, they cut down Usman, r.a., while he was reading the very Qur'an which he had compiled. [The blood of Usman, r.a., trickled down to this verse of the Qur'an he was holding: "...Allah will suffice thee as against them, and He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing." [2:137]
Naila grappled with the assailants but they were determined to kill the elderly Caliph. One of the assailants tore off Naila's outer garment. At this an African slave whom Usman, r.a., had freed could not bear to see the emerging tragedy and rushed forward and killed the assailant who had grabbed Naila, only to pay with his own life. Then another assassin's sword came down on Usman, r.a. Naila stopped it with her left hand and her fingers were cut off. The Caliph was martyred thus putting an end to the ideal era of Islamic excellence.
Weeks later, after her hand had healed, Naila, along with a large number of other virtuous women went to the mosque and addressed the people to shame them about their lack of resistance to the sectarians. She spoke at length and with amazing eloquence which mesmerized the crowd, reminding them of the high esteem in which the Prophet, pbuh, held Usman, r.a.
All the classical historians of Islam accept Naila's narrative of the murder of Usman, r.a.
At that time, Muslims did not think that ONE WOMAN' AS A WITNESS cannot be accepted.
Also famous is the letter which Naila wrote to Ameer Muawiyya, r.a., reminding him of verse 9 of Sura al-Hujurat and chiding him for having failed to send timely help to Caliph Usman, r.a. The way she begins that letter is remarkable, with a calm assumption of equality: "From Naila, the daughter of al-Farafsa, to Muawiyya the son of Abu Sufian".

Top Islamic Leader calls for unity between Army and People to Resist India: Warns India: Don't Start What you can't End

LAHORE, Dec 25: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that Pakistani nation is not ignorant of its defense and if India made a folly of attacking the country it will be challenged by 160 million Pakistanis standing behind their armed forces.

India will achieve nothing but devastation, he said in a statement issued by JI Media Cell on Thursday. Qazi offered the government JI's cooperation to help convey the national stance to the friendly countries and activate global Muslim movements to support Pakistan at this time of trial.

Qazi said no Pakistani wants a war with India but the nation will not allow the arch enemy to damage its self respect. "Every child of the country will defend every inch of the homeland. India must think a thousand times before making surgical strikes since such a madness will turn into a full scale war," he said.

Qazi advised Indian leadership to realize that any war imposed on Pakistan will be considered a war between two nations and not two countries, which will initiate a never-ending confrontation between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and it will out of anybody's powers to end the war and control the situation.

Qazi said it was time government, army and nation should get completely united. Government, he said, should restore the judiciary of Nov 2, 2007 and eradicate 17th amendment to settle its biggest contention with the nation and will allow the whole nation to get composed and concentrated on vital issues.

Referring to the high alert position of Indian troops, evacuation of border villages in Rajasthan and massive logistics of supplies towards borders, Qazi said it expose the real Indian intentions. Qazi demanded the government to apprize the nation of the real situation besides taking solid measures to create awareness of defense requirements among masses.

He also expressed sorrow that Islamabad is lagging far behind India on diplomatic front and displaying apologetic attitude against aggressive Indian designs, which does not reflect the sentiments of the nation. Qazi asked the government to send diplomatic delegations to friendly countries and take them into confidence regarding Indian war hysteria. He said Pakistan should call OIC meeting in Islamabad and invite China and Russia as observers. Qazi also offered the government that JI is ready to help convey the national stance to the friendly countries and activate global Muslim movements to support Pakistan at this time of trial.
