November 2: Gallup Poll is indicating an 8 to 10 point lead for Obama. Fox TV says it is a dead heat [very doubtful].
McCain's campaign has no sense of direction and little to say except for personal attacks on Obama. Hidden under the table is the race card. Republicans even tried to question Obama's loyalty to Israel by bringing up Obama's meeting with Prof. Rashid Khalidi many years back. The Republican ploy fell flat because Obama has solid Jewish American support at every level. Attempts to bring up Obama's lack of patriotism are not working because Obama is as keen as McCain to "get" Osama bin Laden. Republicans think they can win by creating suspicion and fear. Bush did so much of that and people are tired of it.

Disrespect for women taken to an extreme degree : No freedom for Holocaust Critics

A very deep hatred of women underlies the exploitation of women in America. Most of the major crimes are committed against women. More than 4,000,000 women are battered enough every year to have to enter homes of refuge and report to the police.

Larry Flynt's pornographic video of Sarah Palin takes the cake. A low life like Larry Flynt, who makes his living off pornography, can insult a family oriented Christian woman and he is allowed to do so in the name of "freedom of expression."

However when it comes to denial, or critical study, of the Jewish holocaust story, there is no freedom of expression. Reputable scholars like David Irving, Mark Weber, Charles Carlson, Dr. Toben, Germar Rudolf and many others are never allowed on any major media channel if they say anything about the "holocaust" which does not fit into the "Six Million" holohoax. November 1, 2008: Jerry Springer produces a TV show which humiliates the poorest and the most oppressed sections of American society, many of them Black. He pays poor women and dysfunctional men to come on TV and talk about their sexual exploits of the most degrading kind. During the show, fights take place and women take off their clothes and get cheers from the crowd.

Jerry Springer spoke at the University of Arkansas on November 1 and gave a long lecture on the necessity of support for Obama. In the process he revealed that he is Jewish. He spoke very patronizingly of Christians and that "we" should not insult their religion. It was amazing expression of self-confidence coming from a Jew [American Jews are less than 2% of the population].

"Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro is charged with revitalizing an ailing regional theme park chain that has posted an annual loss since 1998 and earned a reputation as a rundown hangout for packs of teens.

Shapiro became CEO in December, after signing on with Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder to help wage what became a bitter but successful proxy fight for control. Snyder's investment group, Red Zone, launched its campaign for three board seats in August.
"I had been looking for entertainment media businesses, and when you're an outsider, you look for companies that are in trouble or really messed up," says Snyder, now Six Flags chairman.
Shapiro and Snyder spent the fall lobbying shareholders for a management overhaul and, by year's end, had a majority of votes. Red Zone was reimbursed $10.4 million for its expenses, including a $5 million signing bonus for Shapiro."

African Students Demand an End to Imperialist-driven War in the Congo.

Musavuli writes "The Congo is the greatest humanitarian crisis in the world today where nearly 6 million people have died since 1996, half of them children 5 yrs old or younger and hundreds of thousands of women have been raped all as a result of the scramble for Congo's wealth. Musavuli and his family left the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1998 when he was 17. He charges "the war in the Congo is directly connected to the United States, as far as resource exploitation is concerned. The root cause of the conflict in the Congo is not more so of an ethnic strife, but more so of the scramble for Congo's mineral resources.

Islamic Africans attack U.S.-linked institutions in Somaliland and Puntland

October 29 - The presidential palace, the Ethiopian embassy and UN offices in Hargeisa, the capital of the breakaway republic Somaliland, were bombed today in what is described as the biggest coordinated terrorist attack in the Horn of Africa so far. At least 21 persons were killed.
According to reports from Hargeisa, car bombs were detonated in front of these three key institutions, which represent the state and its main foreign collaborators. The coordinated attacks bear the fingerprint of al-Qaeda. [Curfew has been imposed on Hargeisa which suggests that the general public supports the Islamic attackers.]
Also in neighboring Puntland, an autonomous region in north-eastern Somalia, two bombers blew themselves up in the offices of the anti-terrorism unit of the security services in the capital, Bosasso. Puntland is the power base of Somali transitional President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed and has also enjoyed relative stability.

Fredrick Toben, the alleged Holocaust denier detained in London a month ago, will be released on bail if he can raise 100,000 pounds. The sum of money is described as "security" rather than a surety because it must be lodged with the court and not merely pledged. Other bail conditions imposed by District Judge Daphne Wickham are residence at an approved address, daily reporting to the police, surrender of all passports, no participation in public meetings, no media interviews and no use of the internet -- even to receive information.

After the trial my husband went into custody.

The bail bond company is still owed $20,000 and they are foreclosing on our property and our Muslim friends who had placed their property as guarantee. We already paid them thirty thousand. The sad part is that the property deeds belong to people that stood with us and helped us through this hardship. We have a hard life; we struggled through a lot trying to raise 5 kids while husband is in incarcerated. We are currently living in a property that needs a lot of fixing but alhamdulillah we survived and we still have a roof above our heads.

My husband has been convicted on baseless charges and we are also trying to raise money for his appeal. We used to live in Irvine, so many of the brothers in California may know him.

I'm writing this letter to ask for help so that the people that stood with us can get their property back. I'm asking you brothers and sisters in the name of Allah if you can help us pay the bond company and may Allah protect you and your children and family. Egypt bans international parliamentary delegation from entering Gaza

The European campaign for lifting the siege on Gaza has strongly condemned the Egyptian government's decision not to allow a large international delegation of MPs to enter the Gaza Strip, describing such a decision as practical participation in the siege.

The delegation was set to depart for Gaza in the first week of November to see for themselves the deterioration in the health and educational conditions in the tiny Strip which has been under a crippling Israeli economic siege since June 2006.

Lord Nazir Ahmad, head of the delegation, said that they strongly condemn and deplore the Egyptian decision of denying them entry into Gaza although the visit was humanitarian.

He added that the international delegation of lawmakers had the right to see for themselves the miserable living conditions in the Gaza Strip, underlining – "We expected Egypt, that alleges it helps the Palestinian people and wants to lift the siege, to open the Rafah crossing and to let the delegation pursue the visit and look into the harsh conditions there."

In a statement made in Brussels, Dr. Arafat Madi, the chairman of the campaign organizing the visit, also condemned the Egyptian decision, describing it as "practical participation in the suffocating siege imposed on the Gaza Strip that reaped the lives of more than 250 Palestinian patients so far."

The international delegation of MPs comprises of 53 lawmakers from Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, and the EU parliament, in addition to MPs from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and a number of Arab countries.

Yvonne Ridley Challenges Muslims to stand up for the Rights of Islamic Women in U.S. Military Prisons facing Abuse, torture and Rape.

Bush might be gone from The White House soon, but his rotten legacies will live on. And one of those legacies is his never-ending War on Terror.

His War on Terror gave birth to the cages of Cuba - to Guantanamo Bay where hundreds of our brothers were sold like slaves to the Americans.

I wish this obscenity had happened somewhere else, but the stark reality is retired General Pervez Musharraf and his men got rich on the back of this vile trade - he even admitted it in his autobiography.

How could Muslims sink so low as to sell their brothers like parcels of meat?

Because of this an international organisation called Cage Prisoners was launched from London and its work initially focussed on the torture and detention of those brothers held in Guantanamo, a boil on the face of humanity.

I became one of the patrons of Cage Prisoners and tried to raise awareness to get justice for our brothers in Islam.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe that sisters would also be swept up in the War on Terror. Never did I ever in my darkest nightmares imagine they would be brutalized, raped and tortured ... but they have.

But what still catches my breath is the disinterest expressed by brothers and sisters across the Muslim world to the plight of sisters ... and I am talking about all corners of the Muslim world, including here in Pakistan, a country I have grown to love and regard as my second home.

I salute those dear sisters in Lal Masjid who were mocked and ridiculed for trying to close down a brothel - they were mocked and ridiculed for their piety and many of them were martyred as they fought for common decency.

How did we allow that to happen? How did we sink so low?

Newspaper columnists here in Pakistan sneered at their efforts and called their work the Talibanisation of Pakistan.

Anywhere else in the world they would have been praised as feminists and as righteous individuals for trying to close down the sex industry which clearly exploits women.

But it's not just the heroic sisters from Lal Masjid which brings me here today.

Five years ago when Cage Prisoners first brought the mystery disappearance of Dr Aafiya Siddiqui to the attention of the media no one listened?

OK - five years ago few of us believed that the Bush Administration could really sanction the kidnapping of a mother and her three children.

I know because I was one of those doubters but what changed for me was my own journey to Guantanamo earlier this year. For some bizarre reason the Americans agreed to give me and film-maker David Miller unprecedented access to the world's most notorious prison - and even more amazingly they let us out again.

I am probably one of the few Muslims who flew half way across the world to get to Guantanamo without having to be shackled, shaved and abused.

The experience as brief as it was left me shocked – in fact as I left the maximum security block at Camp Delta one of the young guards asked me how I felt. I told him I was speechless, lost for words. He said proudly: Yup, it's awesome isn't it?

And that is basically the sentiment in there from the most basic recruit, through to the medical staff, the psychiatrists right up to the Rear Admiral. There is nothing temporary about Guantanamo. Do not expect it to be closed down when the new man steps into The White House.

One of the first people I interviewed when I returned home from Guantanamo was brother Moazzam Begg, a British detainee who went through untold atrocities at the hands of the so-called civilised American military.

He was kidnapped in the middle of the night from his home in Islamabad and sold to the Americans for 5,000 dollars.

And while we've spoken many times before this latest interview triggered something new inside me.

I had read his book Enemy Combatant and often heard him talk about the screams of a female prisoner in Bagram but in truth, while I would never question Moazzam's story, I did assume that what he heard was a series of pre-recorded tapes performed by actors as part of the CIA/FBI mental torture programme.

So in this latest interview I threw this theory at Moazzam and he responded saying he knew the screams were real because other brothers in Guantanamo talked about it when he arrived there and, more importantly there were eye witness accounts, brothers who had actually seen the woman detainee.

Bagram, he said, was far worse than anything in Guantanamo. Did you know four Arab brothers escaped from Bagram in July 2005? Did you? Well this is something the Americans do not want you to know, but they did and when they fled that hell hole one brother gave an interview to talk about the plight of one prisioner in particular.

This prisoner was the woman that Moazzam Begg heard scream throughout the night, every night without fail. When the Arab brother saw her he said she had clearly lost her mind. She had been raped, abused and used without mercy by those dogs in Bagram.

Her state was so wretched the male detainees in Bagram went on hunger strike.

Without giving away sources, we soon established that the woman in Bagram was registered in US intelligence documents as Prisoner 650 - I was horrified. I suddenly realised that the screams Moazzam had heard were real.

As you know I was held in Afghanistan by the Taliban for 10 days. They were 10 terrifying days even though I was given the key to lock my own door, even though my captors always knocked and asked permission to enter my room. Whenever I needed to use the bathroom, I only had to ask and I was escorted to the bathroom and an armed guard remained outside while I washed and showered in complete privacy. But no such respect and decency was given to Prisoner 650 - no, this sister was brutalised. She had to share the same open toilet as the men and there were no closed doors, or shower curtains when she wanted to wash.

Back in Britain, Lord Nazir Ahmed answered my call for help. Not only did he submit a series of hard-hitting questions to the British Government, he roused the Pakistan media in London and announced that if Prisoner 650 was not released then he and I would go to the gates of Bagram and demand her release.
It was inevitable that people would assume Prisoner 650 was Dr Siddiqui and the awkward questions started to be asked after more than 100 media turned up at our scrambled press conference. A Cage Prisoner report was handed out giving the wider picture of the disappeared in Pakistan.

Then suddenly Dr Aafiya Siddiqui emerged as though a magician had pulled a rabbit out of a hat - she emerged in a dazed and confused state outside the Governor of Gardez's offices in Afghanistan.
Imagine that ... FIVE years after her disappearance in Karachi. And according to the FBI she was carrying in her handbag pieces of bomb-making equipment and photographs of various landmarks in New York City.

What nonsense and how dare the FBI insult our intelligence this way. Of course the FBI lost much of its credibility when its chief J Edgar Hoover was r evealed to be a transvestite who preferred to wear a red dress and be called by the name of Mary.

Hoover, probably one of the most powerful men in America was the originator of dirty tricks campaigns, lies and deceits and his legacy lives on.

Even today it seems FBI Agents live in a fantasy world but instead of mincing around in red frocks they spend their time dressing up the truth with layer after layer of lies.

This was quite evident with the story of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.

It is no coincidence that Cage Prisoners had raised the issue of Dr Siddiqui less than two weeks before.

Many of you know Dr Siddiqui's story - she had been shot by a US soldier at close range after she managed to overpower one of his colleagues and fire a gun twice. This woman is less than 70 pounds. This story is rubbish.

I am told she is in constant pain - a testament to the work of the medical butcher in Bagram air base who calls himself a surgeon.

But you know what makes this even worse - while our sister lies in agony awaiting to be tried for nonsense charges in an American court, two of her children, a babe in arms and toddler, are still missing. Where are they?

And I'll tell you something else which should make your blood run cold. The Americans have now admitted that the Grey Lady of Bagram does exist.

But Dr Aafiya Siddiqui is NOT Prisoner 650, the Grey Lady of Bagram. We still do not know who is Prisoner 650. We do not know where she is,

Oct. 29 rally in Islamabad. Pakistanis expressing their shame and guilt that this great daughter of Islam was abducted, abused, raped and imprisoned and the Muslim ummah did nothing. "We are ashamed" say the placards. The one in front, with the traumatized picture of Dr. Aafia states: "Dr. Aafia asks: Is there no Ibn Qasim in this nation." Muhammad ibn Qasim was the 17 year old mujahid who came all the way from Damascus during the Ummayad era to rescue a Muslima who had been abducted by the Hindu Raja, Dahir, the ruler of Sind, now a province of Pakistan.

Sis. Yvonne's speech in Islamabad continues : and we do not know how many other pakistan women are being held as female enemy combatants - yes, that is what the pentagon calls them. Female Enemy Combatants.

Today I am begging each and every one of you, as your sister in Islam, to help me find Prisoner 650.

If you remain silent I may never find her. But I tell you something now - I can hear her screams and when you go to bed tonight so will you.

Have we all sunk so low that the cries of this sister remain unanswered? The time has come when the people of Pakistan need to restore pride to this great country. You here today can set the agenda. You here today can make a change. You here today can get rid of those rotten politicians and their weasel words.

Those in power only seem great because they try and keep you on your knees. Rise up and bow to no one but Allah. When the people lead, the leaders will follow.

The pledge came at a meeting between Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

Muslims Students Face Police Atrocities: India's Version of "War on Terror"

The Intelligence Agencies and the Anti Terror Squads are harassing and putting hardship on highly educated Muslim youths in many cities of India under the pretext of fighting terrorism. In the wake of serial blasts occurred in the State capitals of Gujarat, Madhy Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan, which are under the rule of hardcore Hindutv party., crack down against the activists of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) is going on, and a number of suspected Muslim youths belonging to varied activities under different Muslim organizations in the country are detained by the police for interrogation. Even if they have no apparent role in the recent blasts and related terrorist activities, they are being hunted and kept under police custody for their " fundamentalist frenzy" such as attending five-time regular congregational prayers at mosques and participating in the Qur'an study classes which are addressed by their top leaders.
The striking point in all these cases is that the Police and the intelligence personnel are not familiar with the Arabic terminology such as "Jihad, Kufre, and tharbiyyath" etc which according to them are anti-national and anti-Hindu. The print and electronic media which are indulging in malevolent propaganda campaign against Islam and Muslims, often distort the truth and exaggerate the police version of the incidents and the television channels repeatedly present viewers with graphic footage of horrifying scenes of the dastardly acts. Newspapers exaggerate actual incidents under banner headlines to achieve sensationalism which often adversely affect communal harmony. The incorrigibly incompetent police personnel would depend on hoax phone calls, e-mails and SMS which they receive immediately after the blasts and conclude their reports based on "reliable sources".
The Police and Intelligent Agencies are taking to custody some highly qualified Muslim professionals like Engineers and Doctors on mere suspicion, but court release them due to prosecutors failure to substantiate charges about their involvement in the terror acts. But they were being subjugated to harsh treatment and torture in the name of interrogation.
SIMI was banned in India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and the ban was imposed for the first time in September 2001, under the US pressure in the aftermath of 9/11 terrorist attack at New York on the allegation that Muslim youths all over the world are members of international terror network and they are providing logistic and financial support in waging Jihad against the existing regimes in the world. It is undoubtedly a conspiracy hatched by Zionist lobby with a sinister political agenda to contain and prevent the Islamic revolutionary trend and aspirations that emerge in the contemporary Arab-Muslim countries.
In Gujarat, many explosive devices were recovered from various places by the bomb squads on the very next day of the major blasts took place in the city. Oddly, these unexploded devices were planted by Modi's police themselves to reinforce their ant-SIMI onslaught and justify their mass arrest of SIMI activists. In the recent past, there had been incidents of bomb explosions in the BJP ruled States, while the party's siblings such as Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and Vishwa Hindu Parishat were manufacturing the devices. Further, explosive materials were also seized from the localities of these Hindu outfits. In a serious case of blasts in Nandod in April 2006, the Hindu outfit, Bajrang Dal activists died and some injured seriously while making bomb. In an apparent bid to implicate SIMI workers in false cases, fake beards, moustache, pajama kurta and caps, and which Muslims usually wear, were found and recovered from the dead bodies of the Hindu perpetrators at the site of the blasts.
The true agenda of Hindu fascists has been expounded by Golwalker, a veteran of Hindutv as : "The foreign races in Hindustan must either adopt the Hindu culture and language, must learn to respect and hold in reverence Hindu religion, must entertain no ideas but those of glorification of the Hindu race and culture….or may stay in the country wholly subordinated to the Hindu nation, claiming nothing, deserving no privileges far less any preferential treatment, not even citizen's right." The Bajrang Dal, Hindu fascist organization with the active support of the BJP has been enforcing this vision.
With the parliament and assembly elections just months away, the Hindutv elements are deliberately creating communal polarization of vote banks to consolidate the BJP's electoral hold on the basis of divisive politics. It does not require much acumen to understand the motive behind the serial blasts occurred only in the States .where the BJP assumed office. The Hindu fascist organizations such as VHP, RSS and Bajrang Dal have been branded as terrorist organizations in India and involved in several bomb blasts, and recent attacks on Christians, but not yet banned like SIMI. Often such a callous attitude on the part of the government reflects flagrant double standard.
The Muslim bodies, representing wide spectrum of views, have repeatedly condemned all terrorist acts and have appealed to the Muslim youths to refrain from violent activities since terrorism is alien to Islam, and consolidate their nerve and verve to the progress and prosperity of the community and the nation where they live.
