From our Media Monitor:
Messing with Muslim Africa without End
Chad: From this central African country, a French and
Spanish group working under the guise of charity and child
adoption, tried to abduct 109 Muslim African children. The
Europeans claimed that the children were ORPHANS from DARFUR.
The Chadian authorities stopped the abduction just in the
nick of time. It turned out that the children were NOT ORPHANS
and they were NOT FROM DARFUR. They were Chadian children with
living parents.
The new clownish French President Sarkozy flew to Chad,
personally, to get the French air crew involved in the
abduction released. He managed to get away with it probably
because France has troops in Chad.
America's leading film actress ANGELINA JOLIE should be
banned from Africa. She claims to be helping Africa but
her morals are those of the chicken coop. Last week American
millionaire Donald Trump said on prime time TV that Jolie was
having quick sex in the back of the car with a random lover
of hers while on her way to get an award for her film
performance. Such are the people trying to infiltrate Africa.
No wonder AIDS is spreading in Africa owing to the
Euro-American export of sexual laxity to Africa.
Editorial
Pakistan: Mess Created to Bring Ms. Bhutto to Power.
Washington is behind this drama.
On November 7 President Bush called Musharraf and ordered him
to restore democracy! Some say Pakistan should be called
USA [P].
November 5-7, 2007: PAKISTANI MIDDLE CLASS in TURMOIL:
The courts in Pakistan are largely empty. The lawyers are in
the streets. The regime has put more than 1,500 of them in
police custody. For three straight days lawyers in Pakistan's
major cities have been protesting in the streets and have
been treated with brutal police repression. However, no one
has been killed or seriously wounded. The Pakistani upper
classes are in a state of shock owing to the rough handling
given to Pakistani elites, the lawyers. The police seemed to
be enjoying the scuffling and the roughing up of educated
people. The American media, owing to their support for
Bhutto, have been showing graphic pictures of lawyers being
roughed up by police. Islamic demonstrators were treated much
worse by Mush and never got any coverage.
Most people in Pakistan did not rise up to join the protests
by the lawyers. Even the political parties have not done
much, other than Jamaat-e-Islami, 300 plus of whose members
have been detained and some of its leaders put under
house arrest.
The key to the Pakistani drama is Ms. Benazir Bhutto, The
U.S. wants to bring her into power [or at least to get her
to share power with Musharraf.] Here are the facts:
-
On November 3 when Musharraf imposed emergency rule, Ms.
Bhutto returned to Karachi from a temporary visit to Dubai.
She was not bothered by the regime and calmly went to her
palace in Karachi from the airport with a whole group
of supporters.
 -
On November 5, she proceeded to Islamabad by air, again
without any restriction by the Musharraf regime. She started
mobilizing her supporters.
 -
November 6, Ms. Bhutto announced that she would call a "long
march" on Islamabad unless Musharraf accepted her demands
about the "restoration of democracy." A huge caravan in
support of "democracy" would begin from Lahore and head
to Islamabad.
 -
November 7, Bhutto's organization, known as Peoples Party,
started a demonstration in Islamabad. It was small and was
treated politely by the police.

Statements coming out of the Bush administration indicate that
the U.S. is determined to put Ms. Bhutto into power. The U.S.
has been "advising" [almost ordering] Musharraf to listen and
obey, to "remove his uniform" and hold elections. Pakistani
police has gone too far in locking up almost the entire
judiciary. The White House pretends to be "aghast."
By November 7, Musharraf was giving signals that "democracy
would be restored" soon.
The Americans know that the people of Pakistan are [as they
say in Pakistan] "sick and tired" of Musharraf. Now is the
time to bring in America's B team, but she is to be brought
in a way as to create the impression that she represents the
will of the people. It should appear as if Musharraf is
trying to stop her but can't.

Veteran Human Rights Activist Uncovers Michael Mukasey's
Oppressive History: Only Zionists will benefit from M.M.
The Honorable Patrick J. Leahy
United States Senate
433 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510-4502
28 October, 2007
Dear Senator Leahy:
I cannot fathom the unconscionable lack of sensitivity shown
by the Bush administration in nominating judge Michael B.
Mukasey for the position as Attorney General of the
United States.
At a time when we are militarily destroying two Muslim
countries while supporting Israel's genocidal assault on the
Palestinians, and while Al-Qaeda volunteers by the thousands
are signing up to attack our military, to appoint to this
senior position a Judge known for his Zionist sympathies ,
whose Zionist wife (who manages a school for Jewish Girls )
is active with AIPAC is a slap in the face to a Muslim world
whose members today are being harassed daily on our streets
and in our courts.
Judge Mukasey's reluctance to decry that form of torture
known as "water-boarding" is understandable, since the
Judge's Zionist friends in the Israeli secret police have
been using this form of torture against their captive
Palestinians for years.
Michael B. Mukasey, you'll remember, is the judge who
presided over the trial of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, a blind
and diabetic religious figure from Egypt who was active in
Egyptian politics. Judge Mukasey, because of his recognized
Zionist leaning was asked by the Sheik's defense attorneys
to recuse himself from the trial, which demand he refused.
Not only was Judge Mukasey's behavior toward the Sheik during
the trial discourteous, but he denied the Sheik the attorney
of his choice, and refused the Sheik's request that some
issues of Muslim law be explained to an ignorant American
jury. Despite the court's finding that Sheik Rahman had no
relationship whatsoever to the Trade Center bombings, Judge
Mukasey sentenced him to "life plus 65 years."
Unlike the ignorant Americans, the Muslim world, of over 1.3
billion believers, receives from Al Jazeerah and other
satellite stations uncensored news. Muslims understand that
Egypt's corrupt police state under Mubarak has jailed over
70,000 members of Gamaa al-Islamiyya and the Muslim
Brotherhood, and many Muslims therefore see Sheik Omar Abdel
Rahman as a hero for his campaign against a corrupt Egyptian
regime. . Hence, the imprisonment of this holy leader or
Imam has been viewed as another American anti-Muslim crime,
with Mukasey, a Zionist Jew as the arch-criminal acting with
the consent of an AIPAC-controlled Washington.
See what you can do to prevent another Zionist from dragging
down the reputation of our Country. To refresh your memory,
Senator, I enclose a column on the Sheik's trial I wrote for
a local paper some years ago.
Sincerely,
Edward W. Miller, MD

Muslim Woman in Louisiana Prison Solitary Confinement
Fights for her rights: We Urge Support for Sis. Maryam
by Dr. Mulazimuddin Rasool
Maryam wrote here own appeal. 1500 handwritten pages using a
right arm that has nerve damage because of an assault by a
guard six years ago. She is in solitary because she was on
room restriction, got a pass to go to the kitchen during
Ramadan, but was written up for walking around the yard.
There are a few guards that have been on her case since she
got there. She is in the heart of Baptist country and is
the lone Muslimah at the facility. The chaplain has been
trying to break her for five years. He is also filing a
complaint against her, accusing her of lying, in reference
to a memo he says she sent him.
I have three journals [from her] that I am typing. She said
she is going to send me another one. She has a photographic
memory and can write a conversation down word-for-word after
it transpires. Shukran for the support!!
I spoke with the brother who was conducting Jumah at LCIW.
He has an organization called AIM (Americans for Incarcerated
Muslims) P.O. Box 460, Clayton, LA 71326, tel. (318) 542-2750
Imam Abdul Rahman Sabir. I spoke with him about her situation.
The first thing he told me was how Maryam was making things
difficult for herself. I told him that I have been a part of
her prison experience for five years, and he did not know the
whole story. If he cannot see through the Chaplain's
deception, there is nothing I can do for him.
Please write to or call the Warden and the Chaplain.

Shoddy Muslim "Journalism" in the U.S.
Don't send us Articles Copied from the Zionist Media
The risks involved in the practice of Islamic journalism in
the U.S. have reduced most Muslim journalists to pitiable
conditions. CAIR is not the only clique which distributes
articles copied wholesale from the Zionist media. There is an
online listing called The Wisdom Fund which also has this
irritating habit of copying from the Zionists.
New Trend is okay with unusual items published by non-Muslims
which reveal something extraordinary and which have not
received good circulation. [We give an example below.]
However, we must draw the line at wholesale copying of
reports from the Zionist/Corporate media because they might
contain something slightly sympathetic to Muslims.
Here is a note New Trend sent to the so-called "Wisdom Fund."
asalamu alaikum
Kindly do not send us articles copied from Zionist
publications.
All these papers are available to us and to the public
in general.
Why don't you take the trouble to write something of your own.
This is not wisdom.
Plagiarism is not accepted even in High School: It's very
rude of you to think that we are unaware of what the
corporate media are publishing. Copying without permission is
downright dishonest and lazy.
New Trend receives and/or monitors all major publications.
So please, send us something you wrote yourself or simply
remove us. Do Muslims supporting Iran have any sense of
integrity and rule of law or do you simply plagiarize without
hesitation?
For God's sake what makes you think The Independent
and Washington Post are worth distribution over the
Internet. Please stop! This is reverse Da'wah.
If there's not enough anti-Semitism out there, then it's best
to take matters into your own hands...

Police: Jewish GW Student Admits Putting Swastikas On
Her Door
UPDATED: 10:18 pm EST November 5, 2007
WASHINGTON -- George Washington University officials
said a Jewish student who complained about swastikas showing
up on her door put them there herself.
The student lives in Mitchell Hall, where half a dozen
swastikas had shown up on her dorm room door in the past
several weeks.
University police set up a hidden camera. They said the
girl admitted responsibility Monday.
News 4 interviewed the student last week after the fifth
swastika was discovered. She did not want to be identified.
"It's a big story," said Jake Sherman, GW Hatchet editor.
"Thirty percent of GW students are Jewish"
Reporters at the GW Hatchet newspaper have been following the
story since it began. They said they learned on Monday
morning that the alleged victim would likely be implicated.
They said they spoke to her twice by phone.
According to reporters at the newspaper, the student said,
"I wasn't looking to create this sort of insanity. I wasn't
looking to become a media darling. I was just looking for
acknowledgment from the university that someone drew a
swastika on the door."
The student now faces disciplinary action from the school and
could face criminal charges.
WAR NEWS
AFGHANISTAN: Heavy Casualties: Martyrdom Attack in
[northern] Baghlan Province
November 6, 2007: Pul-e-Khumri: Baghlan Province: A public
gathering of top supporters of the U.S. and Karzai was hit by
a martyrdom operator. More than 90 people were killed in the
huge explosion and 50 wounded. Six of the dead were members
of the "parliament" installed in Kabul by the U.S., including
a top Shi'ite leader of the Northern Alliance which supported
the U.S. attack on Afghanistan in 2001.
The "members of parliament" killed in the attack were
notorious for their atrocities against civilians. Most of the
others killed in the attack were soldiers and policemen
guarding the notables. Tragically a number of school children
were also killed and/or wounded in the attack. They had been
brought in by police to welcome the notables arriving
from Kabul.
[Pul-e-Khumri, northwest of Baghlan province, which is two
provinces north of Kabul, is a stronghold of the Northern
Alliance which is supported by the U.S., Iran and India.]
[No one has taken responsibility. Karzai announced three
days of mourning.]
Also on November 6, the U.S. air force bombed an area in
Badghis province on suspicion of harboring Taliban.
The number of people killed in the bombing has not yet been
found. Badghis, bordering Turkmenistan, is a province in the
extreme northwest which the Taliban have infiltrated.
On Monday, November 5, it was reported that Taliban had
captured the Karjan district in central Daikundi
Province, a day after they claimed to have overrun two
districts in the west of the country.
November 4: The U.S. air force bombed Arghandab, north
of Kandahar. Local sources say at least 25 people were
killed in the bombing. The U.S. says they were "suspected
Taliban" and that 50 [not 25] were killed. It appears that
the Taliban are mobilizing in the area to capture Kandahar
from where Mullah Umar began his Islamic revolution.
November 4: Farah province: A Dutch [NATO] soldier
was killed and 2 wounded in a Taliban attack. In
Uruzgan province, 4 Karzai police were killed in a
Taliban ambush. The same day, the U.S. air force bombed
Taliban held areas in Helmand province. The bombs
missed their targets.
October 27: [Late news] A martyrdom operator tried to
enter a heavily guarded U.S. military base in southern
Afghanistan. Three Afghan troops working for the U.S. were
killed along with a civilian worker.
October 15: [Late news]. Helmand province: A NATO officer
from Denmark was killed when Taliban bombed his armored
car. [It puzzles Afghans that NATO is occupying their
country.] In Wardak province, 5 Taliban and 3
civilians were killed in fighting with British troops;
14 British soldiers were wounded.
This sounds like a statement from the Bush admin about
Afghanistan, but it's from Iran's U.N. Envoy

Iran concerned over security situation in Afghanistan
TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Iran's permanent UN envoy Mohammad Khazaee
here on Monday voiced concern over security situation in
Afghanistan and the growing threat of opium production in
and drug trafficking from the country.
Khazaee voiced the concern on Iran's behalf at the 62nd UN
General Assembly Session on "The Situation in Afghanistan"
in New York on November 5, 2007.
The following are excerpts from the text of the Iranian
envoy's speech in the UN meeting:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Mr. President,
May I begin by extending our gratitude to the Secretary
General for his comprehensive reports on various aspects of
the situation in Afghanistan, and thanking him and his
Special Representative as well as all their colleagues in
UNAMA for their unwavering commitment and commendable
dedication to the consolidation of peace and stability
in Afghanistan. We continue to stress on, and support, the
central and essential role that the United Nations is
playing in Afghanistan.
In the past several years, through taking various steps in
establishing democratic institutions and a vibrant political
system, the Afghan people, led by President Karzai, have
demonstrated their firm commitment towards a stable and
democratic future.
Moreover, the most recent report of the Secretary General on
Afghanistan highlights a number of promising improvements in
the economic and social fields. This, particularly, includes
valuable accomplishments with regard to economic growth,
education, health, building infrastructure and rural
development. We commend the Afghans for these remarkable
achievements and reassure them of the continuation of our
full support for their endeavors to rebuild their country.
Despite these remarkable accomplishments, much remains to be
done. As indicated by the Secretary General in his report,
the security situation in the country and the threat of
opium production and drug trafficking have increased and
continue to be of grave concern.
Increased terrorist attacks and violence in certain parts of
Afghanistan, caused by Al-Qaeda, the Taliban and other
criminal and terrorist groups, coupled with a pervasive drug
economy and the increase in the production and trafficking
of narcotic drugs have created alarming challenges that
seriously undermine the security of the country and beyond.
As an immediate neighbor of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic
of Iran has a vital interest in a stable, secure and
prosperous Afghanistan and in an Afghanistan free from
terrorism and extremism.
Iran has always been unequivocal in its condemnation of the
heinous terrorist acts committed in Afghanistan and has
extended its full support to the efforts of the Afghan
Government to improve the security and economic situation in
the country. We believe that the increase in insecurity in
Afghanistan and recent increased terrorist activities well
suggest that the unwarranted attempts made by certain
foreign powers in Afghanistan to appease some terrorist
groups have proved to be wrong and counterproductive.
War News from Northern Pakistan:
Victory in Swat: Tree Cutting Stopped
Swat: November 6, 2007: The forces of Islam have captured 5
districts of beautiful Swat. Shariah Law is being implemented
immediately. The Islamic leader of Swat, Maulvi Fazlullah
has set up an administration to give justice to the poor and
the needy. Pakistani paramilitary forces in the 5 districts
were disarmed and sent home.
As an immediate step, tree cutting in the area, along
with smuggling of timber out of the area, has been stopped
with an iron hand. Pakistani officials were involved in the
illegal cutting of trees which was steadily destroying
the environment.
November 4: Long range Pakistani artillery pounded
Islamic positions in the mountains. Pakistani police vacated
three areas in northern Swat valley and Islamic forces
took over.
Earlier in Swat on November 3, the forces of Islam [known as
Nizam-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat] presented 48 Pakistani paramilitary
troops to the media who had surrendered rather than fight
against the mujahideen. Pakistani General Rasheed had claimed
that no Pakistani troops had been captured in Swat.
South Waziristan: November 5. The mujahideen of
Baitullah Mehsud, who control most of this area, released
213 Pakistani troops in exchange for 28 mujahideen captured
by Pakistan, including one whom the Paks had sentenced as a
"terrorist." The captured Pakistanis were given gifts and
sent off. The Paks said, they felt Allah would punish them
in the Hereafter if they fought for Musharraf against Islam.
Kurram Agency: November 5: Five Pakistani troops were
abducted by Islamic youths. In Chirat, a Pak army jeep was
blown up and 3 troops wounded.
Sargodha, Punjab Province: November 2: Near the
biggest air base in the area, a Pakistan air force bus
was hit by a martyrdom operator on a motor bike. Eight
personnel of the air force were killed and 20 wounded. The
dead included 4 squadron leaders and a flying officer. The
attack seems to be in retaliation for Pak air force bombing
of Islamic villages in Waziristan which caused heavy
civilian casualties.
