1. Dear Muslims: asalamu alaikum: During Ramadan don't forget to make du'a for the Islamic political prisoners in U.S.-Zionist jails. They were railroaded and oppressed by the Zionist injustice system. Be it Imam Jamil al-Amin, Dr. Omar 'Abdel Rahman, Siddique Abdullah Hasan, Ahmad Abdel Sattar, Dr. Ali al-Timimi, Masaud Khan and the innocents in Guantanamo Bay or the 26,000 in Iraqi-U.S. concentration camps, and the 12,000 in Israeli prisons, they deserve our moral and spiritual support.

Lithuania suspects prominent Israeli Holocaust researcher of war crimes during WWII: Why the Jews were hated.

VILNIUS. Sept 11, 2007 (Interfax) - Lithuania has requested that the Israeli authorities facilitate the questioning of prominent historian and Holocaust researcher Yitzhak Arad regarding his partisan past during World War II and his supposed subsequent service for the Soviet NKVD security police.

"The pretrial investigation documents of this criminal case include enough data to assume that the suspect Yitzhak Arad might have committed criminal deeds in Lithuania," the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office said in a press release.

According to the Lithuanian prosecution authorities, Arad joined a Soviet partisan squad while Lithuania was occupied by Nazi Germany and then served with the NKVD. He is suspected of involvement in executions of Lithuanian civilians and members of the anti-Soviet resistance movement, the statement says.

Following WWII, Arad served for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and was promoted to brigadier general. After retirement in 1972, he became a historian and a Holocaust researcher. He was the director of Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Remembrance Authority, for 21 years from 1972 to 1991.

Rally at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza at the UN in New York: Symbolic Opposition to Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib

On September 26, numerous organizations from across New York city rallied at the United Nations. The action was called in response to Bush's address to the U.N., attempting to justify war against Iran. Several hundred people participated, some of whom were arrested at the U.N. The people took to the pavement when the Police revoked their permit to protest at the U.N. Instead, they walked from 47th Street in Manhattan to Washington Square, where they ended the march.

There were many young people at the rally and their chants:

* were come join us to drive out the Bush Regime

* the world cannot wait.

The people were wearing orange which was to symbolize those who are detained and tortured with no due process in Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib.

Sadly, there was no representative or organizations from the Muslim communities standing with the people against this war criminal in the White House, who is killing Muslims in the Middle East by his policies. These Muslim groups are not saying anything or standing up or holding our own rally or demonstration in the city. Many Muslims are sleeping in America. I represented the Jamaat al-Muslimeen at this rally.

Role Models for our Children: This Ramadan: Accept Allah, Shun Taghoot

September 28, 2007: Islamic Center of the Triad in Greensboro is attracting more and more people. In Ramadan, the Center is bustling with Islamic activities. Imam Badi Ali and the leadership committees with him are working overtime to provide services to the community.

On 9.28, Dr. Kaukab Siddique gave the Juma' khutba and led the prayer. Over 500 people attended the khutba. At iftar that evening, he met the children of the community, ranging from six to twelve years old. These 50 youngsters were led by Sis. Umm Merwan, a dynamic sister. Later still, during Taravih prayers, Dr. Siddique spoke to several hundred worshippers and urged them to repent, accept Allah into their lives and shun taghoot.

The main points of the khutba are as follows:

We must strive to save our children and our families from the satanic forces which are rampant in the U.S. power structure.
Our children must not follow us because we are too weak and we came to America for our dunya, not our deen.
Role models are essential for our children. If we do not provide Islamic role models, our children will imitate film stars, entertainers and corrupt leaders of this society, one of whom, though a Senator, was looking for homosexual sex in a public bathroom.
The example of our Leader, Muhammad Mustafa, pbuh, shines through the lives of his Sahaba, r.a. These are the best role models. For males:
Abu Bakr, r.a., Umar, r.a., 'Usman, r.a., Ali, r.a., Saad, r.a. and others.
For females: Khadijah, r.a., Fatima, r.a., Ayesha, r.a., Umm Ammara, r.a., Umm Waraqah, r.a. and others
Many of the sahaba, r.a., were children, e.g. the four Abdullahs
Our faith, our Qur'an, our Leader [pbuh], our Ummah will be victorious, inshallah. Bombs, tanks, artillery cannot defeat those who have faith in the Hereafter

Islamic Revolution Possible in Pakistan through Jamia Hafsa/Red Mosque Sacrifices

Pakistan's Mothers and Daughters and the Youths led by Shaheed Abdul Rashid Ghazi

Never before in the history of Pakistan has the Pakistani army led by its commander-in-chief attacked an Islamic women's seminary and a mosque dedicated to the Qur'an and the authentic Hadith.

The mothers and daughters of Jamia Hafsa, led by Umm Hasan, were making a demand which is at the very foundation of Pakistan as a nation. They were demanding that Islamic Law [Shariah] be implemented in Pakistan.
The movement coming out of Jamia Hafsa and the Red Mosque [Lal Masjid] has touched the heart and soul of Pakistan's Islamic ethos. It has all the ingredients necessary for an Islamic revolution in Pakistan. Think of this:

Uncompromising Islamic leadership. Maulana Abdul Aziz and Abdul Rashid Ghazi have shown a good understanding of Pakistan's corruption. They were very aware of the modern world and were very aware of the Laws and teachings of Islam. These were real 'Ulema-e-Haqq.
Women played a leading role. Umm Hasan and thousands of Islamic women showed that in Hijab women can change the course of history. The Muslim world is proud of these women. No country in the world has women so brave, so pure, so dedicated to the truth as these.
The women of Jamia Hafsa carried out symbolic, non-violent , actions to make Pakistanis aware of the deep corruption which is undermining the social system.
The Islamic women arrested a woman involved in trafficking of females for the Musharraf officialdom. The"madam" admitted that she was involved in exploitation of women under Musharraf's corruption.
The Islamic women closed down a massage parlor organized by Chinese women to provide sexual favors to Musharraf's men.
The daughters of Islam persuaded some shop keepers to destroy their CDs of pornographic material and murder and violence.
These were peaceful acts in which no one was hurt. If the government had done its duty, the women would not have had to do this.
When Musharraf's elite commando forces attacked the mosque and the Women's Seminary, Abdul Rashid Ghazi and the young men and women resisted. Muslims have the right to resist when someone invades their mosques and schools.
The choice Abdul Rashid Ghazi had was to surrender in front of overwhelming odds or to accept martyrdom like Abdullah ibn Zubair, r.a., and Hussain ibn Ali, r.a. Ghazi went down fighting with gun in his hand like Tippu Sultan at Seringapatam when the British army surrounded him.
General Musharraf used mortars, artillery and dynamite to destroy the Women's Seminary and to decimate the interior of the Red Mosque. Phosphorous was used to kill Abdul Rashid Ghazi's mother and hundreds, some say thousands, of Islamic women.
Musharraf's crime is a crime against humanity unequalled in the history of the Muslims of the subcontinent. Even the British and Indian armies did not commit such horrendous atrocities.
Part of the leadership of Islamic leadership survived. Maulana Abdul Aziz is not only alive but very clear in his Islamic thinking. Umm Hasan is alive and very strong in her Islamic thinking.
Though Jamia Hafsa was demolished by Musharraf's bandit army and Red Mosque is under occupation, the Islamic revolution has tremendous support among the people in Islamabad and other cities.

Saudi Authorities' Religious Practices are Counterproductive and unIslamic

We spoke about how the UAE has complete control over what should be said at every house of worship, which makes the creative among us less creative, turning the rest to mere recorders that repeat what is recorded in them. Also when someone with good knowledge about the Noble Qur'an tries to share with other believers, they prevent him from such, and the are willing to throw him out of the land. Today we will have a peak at Islam in Saudi Arabia , looking at a specific issue that makes no sense whatsoever, namely those who are called Mutawaa. What is a Mutawaa, a Mutawaa is someone who goes during the short time preceding any prayer with a stick in his hand to hit people with and shout at them: it is prayer time, go and pray at the Masjid. On the outside, this may look as something good for some of us, however, we need to remember what Allah says in Ayah 5;47 says:

"let the people of the Injeel (Bible) judge according to what Allah sent in it, and whosoever does not judge according to what Allah sent, those are Fasiq (deviators and offenders of Allah). Ayah 5;45 says:

"and whosoever does not judge according to what Allah sent, those are the worst among the unjust". Now, do those Mutawaa judge according to what Allah sent, did Allah say: when prayer time comes, force believers into prayer at the edge of a stick? Ayah 2;256 says:

"no compulsion/forcing in the religion of Islam", no pushing others in regard to believing, or in any other aspect of the faith period. Ayah 18;29 says:

"whosoever wants let them believe, and whosoever wants let him/her disbelieve", therefore we conclude that those Mutawaa are acting against the Ayahs (words) of Allah, and not judging according to what Allah sent in the Noble Qur'an. Allah is so clear, no one have the right to force any of the Muslims into practicing Islam, this is a personal issue, a relation between the worshiper himself/herself and Allah, no one has the right to come in between, for if you force me to pray, why should I get rewarded for something I was forced to do anyway?

Yes, even Saudi is full with sad practices, and the government is not preventing those nut cases from forcing people to pray when time comes at the edge of a stick, as if we are mere sheep in the hands of an ignorant shepherded about what Allah sent in the Noble Qur'an.
