December 21: The greatest historian of the Second World War returned to England from Austria after plane delays caused by British fog. He said he will no longer show remorse for his views and he called for a BOYCOTT of GERMAN and AUSTRIAN historians till these countries stop their censorship and oppression of scholars.

Muslims should be happy because Mr. Irving is an outstanding critic of the Iraq war and a supporter of Palestine.

David Irving, 68 years old, who carries out original research, using hitherto secret documents, private diaries, war time records and eyewitnesses, to write his monumental books, spent 13 months in Austria's prison. Why? because SEVENTEEN YEARS BACK, during a visit to Austria, in 1989, he made critical remarks about the Jewish story of the holocaust or "holohoax" as many call it.

Austria is a slave nation like Germany, so much in the death grip of Zionist exploiters, that a researcher can be put into prison for "thought crime" against the traditional Enemies of Truth.

Mr. Irving, we are proud of you. We can see that the international cabal of terrorists and censorship experts who have occupied Palestine are in disarray because of your release. They wanted you to be in prison for at least 3 years, if not 10! Here is what the Jewish representative had to say:

Meanwhile Germar Rudolf, an outstanding German scientist who challenged the story of Auschwitz, which is the flagship of the entire holocaust business, is still in prison. He is brought to court in in chains as if he is a dangerous, violent criminal. Truly the puppets of Israel in Germany and Austria have broken the rules of civilized behavior. They endorsed the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, in the name of "freedom of expression" but they can cannot accept scholarly critiques of their war time propaganda.

10 Top Idiots of the Year 2006

Imam Badi Ali of Greensboro, North Carolina says that 2006 was the year of the IDIOT. New Trend defines an idiot politically as a person who does not know that he/she is being used, is ego oriented and forcefully carries out a hidden political agenda, thus falling prey to the actual forces at work in the political arena.

New Trend has come up with the following IDIOTS of the year 2006 after consulting and searching far and wide for people who would fit into our definition of the IDIOT. Here are the top 10:

1. Mahmoud Abbas [Abu Mazen] the President of the Palestinian Authority who is a toy in the hands of the Israelis and his western backers. He started thinking that he is really the President of Palestine!

2. King Abdallah of Jordan. He plays America's game without realizing that for America he is no more than a playboy who fulfils the current agenda of the imperialist powers. Poor fellow! He sometimes starts believing that he, really, is the King and a Hashemite to boot!

3. General Musharraf, "President" of Pakistan: He struts and frets on the Pakistani stage, selling his country's secrets, his religion, his army, his people, and all who trusted him. America keeps "upping the ante:" Bomb this village, arrest that Muslim, kill so-and-so [Bugti for instance], torture the Muslim who came from UK. Musharraf jumps and obeys. Perhaps somewhere in the back of his mind he realizes that he is being used: When America has had enough of him, he will be thrown out like a rat!

4. Hosni Mubarak, the tyrant of Egypt. Hosni has built barricades of human bodies around himself: those his secret police has killed, those his expert torturers have broken and maimed, those who fill his prisons on suspicion of being "Islamic fundamentalists." He wants to forget that his existence is based on the billion dollar annual bonus his boss in the White House gives him. Hosni starts pretending that he in fact is the Pharaoh and has the power of life and death. He wants to to pretend that the CIA, FBI and Mossad agents protecting him are not there and that he is an independent ruler!

5. Karzai, the ruler of Kabul. This one is really pathetic. The Americans built him up as the 'democratic" ruler of "democratic" Afghanistan. He was so pumped up that he forgot not only Islam but the traditions and honor of the Pashtun people. He puts on his fancy dress and comes to Washington and Ottawa to be cheered by the White Master. The Taliban are waiting to string him up.

6. Britain's Blair, Bush's "boyfriend" [some call him] or " Bush's poodle" as his own people call him. He lives in a fantasy world where he thinks he can make Muslims fight each other [in the name of fighting "extremists"]. A dupe of the Zionists, he thinks he can fool Palestinians into recognition of "Israel."

7. Amr Moussa, the clown of Egypt. He helped Hosni crush Gamaa al-Islamiyya, sent his troops into mosques and homes and undermined Egypt's Islamic will. He has been promoted to be in charge of the Arab League, where he sits around talking at length about the future of the Arab nations. Little does he realize that he is no more than a pawn of the western powers.

8. "Imam" W.D. Muhammad represents America on this list. The White House used him to neutralize African-American Muslims and to put them into the service of U.S. plans to generate an "American Islam." The community could not be mobilized to free Imam Jamil al-Amin and to confront Zionist tyranny owing to his foolishness. W.D.'s followers became a little cult which claimed that their leader was the "man of the Millennium. The "imam" is proud of his connection to the State department which has been sending out W.D.-types all over the Muslim world to teach the toothless new "American islam" thought out by the Rand Corporation.

9. Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the UN. It took him 8 years to realize that he was not important and had been used by the western powers. [His Jewish-Swedish wife was his ticket to promotion.] Only at the very end, he started uncovering the role his masters played in Iraq and want to carry on in Iran. It was too late. He looked foolish.

10. Donald Rumsfeld, America's warlord and attack dog in Iraq, had delusions of grandeur. He thought he would set up a new system in Iraq where U.S. military might would be decisive in all matters. He called the resistance "dead enders" and "ba'athist leftovers." Only too late, he found that an uprising of the people of Iraq was taking place led by revolutionary Islamic forces. As thousands of martyrdom operators ["suicide bombers"] week after week and month after month slammed into U.S. armored columns and recruiting centers of Iraqi collaborators, "Rummy's" dreams went up in smoke. Too late, he realized that his ego had blinded him. The real agents behind the Iraq war, the Zionist Jews like Wolfowitz, Perle, Feith, Lieberman, Kristol, Krauthammer, Kissinger, prospered, and some were even promoted. "Rummy" was dumped.

Pakistani Islamic Leader Answers Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S.: Bush, Musharraf, Karzai are anti-people, anti-Islam failures

On December 21, 2006 C-Span carried an extensive interview with Pakistan's ambassador to the U.S. Mahmud Ali Durrani. On December 23, New Trend asked top Pakistani Islamic leader Syed Munawwar Hasan to comment on Durrani's expressions. Br. Hasan is Secretary General of Jamaate Islami and a key organizer of the Islamic coalition known as MMA. Known to his friends as Munawar bhai, Br. Hasan is from Karachi and has in-depth understanding of Pakistan. He played a key role in the million man-woman marches held in Pakistan to protest the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
[The interview took place in Lahore, Pakistan. Here are excerpts]

New Trend: The Pakistani ambassador, Mahmud Ali Durrani said that the governments of Pakistan, Afghanistan and the U.S. stand united in the struggle against terrorism and there should be "no chink in our armor."

Syed Munawar Hasan: He is right in a way. All three governments have this in common that they are anti-people, involved in aggression against Muslims and adamant in trying to mislead their people. Musharraf is as unpopular in Pakistan as Bush is in the U.S.

NT: Durrani said that he has no problem with increasingly warm relationship between the U.S. and India. He said more U.S. trade with India is good for Pakistan because we'll get something out of it too.

SMH: He is simply repeating Musharraf's subservient viewpoint about India. What is good for Pakistan does not figure into Musharraf's thinking. Overall this regime is giving up the rights of Pakistan. India is now leading him wherever it wants.

NT: Durrani was asked about the nuclear agreement between India and the U.S. by which the U.S. will provide nuclear help to India. The ambassador said that owing to the activities of A.Q. Khan [Pakistan's top nuclear scientist silenced by Musharraf] we are too embarrassed to comment on the India-U.S. nuclear agreement.

SMH: The Pakistani army has become an embarrassment for the people of Pakistan. The generals have a long and unending record of failure. Of course they won't stand up to India. They surrendered to India, 90,000 Pakistani troops, in East Pakistan. Their record is shameful.

NT: Durrani said that he would like the U.S. to send more troops to Afghanistan and that the U.S. should stay in Iraq till it wins. He said, the presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan is helpful to Pakistan. Munawwar bhai, what will anti-war Americans and U.S. Muslims think of Pakistan as a nation when they hear this kind of stuff? This makes us ashamed of being of Pakistani origin.

SMH: Durrani is simply parroting what Musharraf himself says. He does not realize that if more U.S. troops go to Afghanistan, they will suffer more. They can't win. REMEMBER the FATE of the BRITISH and the SOVIETS in Afghanistan? Remember their UNILATERAL withdrawal? The same will be the fate of the U.S. The words of Durrani and Musharraf are the words of cowards. Look at the condition of Musharraf. He dare not come to speak in the National Assembly in Islamabad itself. He knows that he will be hooted and the National Assembly members will ridicule him and laugh at him. What else is left for such people other than American backing?

NT: About Osama, the ambassador said: "If we get hold of him, he is a dead man."

SMH: They have to find him first. They have no idea where he is. The U.S. too cannot help. It is losing the battle against the Taliban. Today the U.S. claimed that Akhtar Osmani, a top Taliban leader, was killed in a U.S. air attack. The Taliban have rejected this claim. They say he is alive and well. All these strong words from the ambassador are disinformation and they indicate that these people, be it Bush or Musharraf or Karzai, are miserable failures.

NT: Doesn't Pakistan have any monitoring of people who are appointed as ambassadors? Shouldn't they represent what Pakistan stands for? This man did not sound remotely oriental, and of course not Pakistani or Islamic.

SMH: These decisions to appoint ambassadors are quite arbitrary. The people here protest at such appointments but these appointments are simply ways of rewarding military men, generals, etc.

NT: Who is Durrani? Do you know him?

SMH: He is an ISI [Pakistani military intelligence] man, old military style, represents no one.

NT could not translate for Br. Hasan a funny part of Durrani's statement. When referring to the 80,000 Pakistani troops placed on the Afghan border to stop support for the Taliban, Durrani said: "we have put our FOOT where our MOUTH is!"
