Dumbing Down of Arab Rulers After the Failure of the Israeli Offensive by Badi Ali [Greensboro, North Carolina]

August 20: Arab foreign ministers said that they will pay for the damage done to Lebanon. This move doesn't make sense. Israel did the damage, so it should pay. Why are these rulers trying to shift the blame? They have been correctly described as "half men" with "half-a-stand" on the issue of the 34-day war.

When Saddam Hussain entered Kuwait, he was blamed for all the damage done and for many years Iraq paid heavily to Kuwait and other friends of the U.S. The same principle should be enforced now. MAKE ISRAEL PAY for the damage to Lebanon!

Also interesting is the activity of the Muslim Brotherhood movement [Ikhwan]. They have linked up with one of the Syrian ruler's former devotees, Khaddam. Through him, they hope to work with the U.S. with the support of Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and King Abdullah of Jordan, one of the worst bootlickers in the Middle East. If Israel's offensive had succeeded, these Ikhwan would have fitted right into America's plan for the attack on Syria.

Many Muslims still do not know that the "Brotherhood" betrayed their own principles long ago. They gave up Syed Qutb and Hasan al-Banna [both were martyrs] and instead chose to work with the Egyptian dictator. Wherever they are active, America's moves against Islam go unchallenged.

Meanwhile in GAZA, the conditions are very bad. Israeli tank columns move in and kill at will. The people seem helpless. There has been no counterattack in 42 days; knly one Israeli was killed on the West Bank. Saudi Arabia is pouring in money to help the pro-Israeli Palestinian Authority of Abbas.

HEAVY FIGHTING in AFGHANISTAN [from New Trend's Urdu language monitor]

The fighting in Afghanistan, for three months, has been much heavier than it was in Lebanon for 34 days. The Taliban are involved in DAILY fighting with the most heavily armed and most modern armies of today, even better than those of Israel. Armored columns of U.S., British and Canadian forces, covered by the U.S. air force, with Karzai Afghans as spies and scouts, are fighting a lightly armed Taliban elite guerrilla movement. The Taliban have the initiative and are heavily motivated by Jihad vereses from the Qur'an. Here are samples of recent fighting which the U.S. and Canadian media have admitted soon after they came out in the Urdu language press; {General Musharraf says Osama bin Laden is in Afghanistan. Karzai says he in Pakistan. Now a minister in Karzai's regime has claimed that Osama is hiding in a highly populated Pakistani city and directing operations. See Nawa-i-waqt, Lahore, August 22}

IRAQ: Steady War of Resistance Continues along with internal atrocities

The Pentagon has released information which shows that another 13 U.S. troops have been killed in Iraq bringing the total dead to 2611. The U.S. has destroyed most of the cities ruled by the Islamic resistance, along with their mosques and Islamic schools.

Internally, the population is getting fragmented. Pro-Iran Shias have killed large numbers of Sunnis by way of death squads. In turn, Baathists [Sunnis] have been attacking Shias, often at random in senseless attacks. Within the Shias, there is conflict between pro-Iran and pro-U.S. elements, often leading to bloody murder. Shias loyal to Moqtada al-Sadr are hostile to the British troops in Basra. Some of the "Sadris" attack Sunnis in Baghdad. The "Sadris" in turn are being attacked by U.S. troops

Here is a summary of main points made by Iqbal and other famous scholars: Conclusion: Muslims must try to understand the message of Muhammad, p. If you have faith in Allah, nothing can defeat you. In the bleakest of situations, Allah transported Muhammad, p, beyond time and space so that he would not waver in his mission.

At this time the Zionist-Jewish terrorist entity known as "Israel" is in blatant occupation of Palestine, of Jerusalem, of masjid al-Aqsa. Hearing Impaired Muslims: Unusual Conversion and Marriage at Baltimore Masjid

People come into Masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in Baltimore, Maryland every now and then to embrace Islam, but this couple was unusual. This young man, named Muhammad, had been corresponding with a young woman in Rochester, New York. After months of emailing, they met and decided to get married. BOTH ARE HEARING IMPAIRED and talk to each other by SIGN LANGUAGE.

Usually the conversion ceremonies are carried out by one of the two imams at the masjid, but the couple specifically asked Dr. Kaukab Siddique to give the "shahada" to the young African-American woman from Rochester. Before Dr. Siddique gave her the "shahada," he explained to her that Allah [God] is not a human being but is the Creator of the Universe. Allah has no partners and no "son." We can know Allah through the Qur'an and the life of Muhammad [peace be on him] which also encompass the central teachings of Jesus and Moses [pbut].

This explanation took quite some time as it went from Dr. Siddique to Sis. Ashira and then to Muhammad who gave it to the young woman in sign language. The young woman had already studied Islam and accepted Islam without hesitation. She also took the Islamic name "Fatiha."

Later, Muhammad and Fatiha got married at the hands of Dr. Siddique who explained the rules of marriage in Islam which again took a long time. Muhammad was so overwhelmed with the whole ceremony and that this beautiful young African-American woman had become his wife that he broke down and wept quietly for a time.

Jose Padilla Case: Judge throws out Major Charge of Terrorism

Jose Padilla [Muslim of Hispanic descent] was accused of preparing to explode a "dirty bomb" in America by none other than the Attorney General of the U.S.A. After keeping him in prison for three years, the U.S. quietly dropped that claim [no charge was ever pressed] but brought up new charges related to "terrorism."

As court proceedings began, the Judge noted that the government's claims are not supported by specific evidence. On August 21, the Judge threw out the main charge against Padilla thus saving him from the threat of life in prison. The judge noted that the government keeps repeating the terrorism charge in the indictment as if it relates to more than one incident.
The other charges still remain; thus Padilla will remain in prison into 2007 while the government prepares to present "evidence" to the judge! [What a joke justice is in America where Muslims remain in prison for years while the Zionist regime prepares "evidence."]

Even more shameful than the Padilla case is that of Dr. Kifah al-Jayyousi whom the regime is trying to link to the Padilla case. It doesn't matter to the regime that Br. Kifah has ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION to Padilla. The two have never met or talked to each other. Br. Kifah, a high level American educationist, is not permitted to go outside SOUTH FLORIDA. He is out on bail but can't find a job. Why all this suffering? He is a devoted Muslim and of Palestinian descent.

Imam Warith Deen Umar Facing Ongoing Government Repression

Imam Umar's passport remains in government custody. In addition, he is not allowed to travel outside New York state. This Zionist repression BOGGLES the MIND. Why? When Imam Umar was a young man, he bought a gun but did not register it. Decades later he is facing a court date which could send him to prison for that youthful error. The government could not find anything against him, so it "researched" Imam Umar's history for years back and found this "error" to try to intimidate him.

Imam Umar is one of the [very] few imams in America who has not prostrated in front of the Zionist White House/Pentagon/FBI. Muslims should rally to support this outstanding and muttaqi Islamic leader who stands for the rights of all Muslims in America.

Prof. Sami al-Arian to be Interviewed by Jamaat Supporter

An African-American youth who embraced Islam at a prison in Massachusetts became a supporter of Jamaat al-Muslimeen earlier this year. Now he has been moved to the same prison where Prof. Sami al-Arian is being held. The brother is going to interview the distinguished Islamic professor and send it to us for publication. Secularist Muslims: Who are They and How to Deal with them?

I am curious about secularism. Aren't secularists Muslims the ones who do not practice Islam but who may have Muslim names? Why do some secularists spew such venomous attacks against fellow practicing Muslims? [Aisha S.] [The writer was a student of Dr. Siddique in 1996.]

Answer by Kaukab Siddique:

Secularism is a phenomenon related to Europe and the U.S. Back in history, Christinanity and Judaism failed to provide a basis for civil society and do not have a framework for politics, economics, trade, dealing with minorities or even the family system Whenever Christianity and Judaism took the shape of a power structure, the result was theocracy, tyranny and an end to human freedom. The Spanish Inquisition, the almost complete extinction of Native Americans, the slave trade, and the two world wars buried forever any desire for a system based on religion in the West. Israel, a product of Zionist interpretation of Judaism, spawned the greatest evil of our times.
By contrast, Islam is not a theocratic system but a COMMUNITY based on the participation of the people, with their consent and through their agreement, but under the Law of Allah revealed in the Qur'an, as interpreted by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be on him.
It's not an exaggeration or a slogan but a fact that Islam is a COMPLETE WAY of LIFE. The Qur'an negates partial or private versions of religion:

"O ye who believe! Enter into Islam wholly [and entirely]; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil one, for he is to you an avowed enemy." [The Qur'an 2: 208]
"Say: 'It is Allah I serve, with my sincere [and exclusive] devotion." [39:14]

No one knows how Moses and Jesus [pbut] lived their daily lives but the life of Muhammad [pbuh] and of many of his Companions [r.a] is documented in great detail in the books of Hadith.

A secularist Muslim is a contradiction in terms. However, we must not put all 'secularist Muslims' in the same bag. There are varieties of them, ranging from the most hostile to Islam, like the ones you have noticed, to those who are the victims of western hegemonistic influences.

Only a few people with Muslim names, such as Salman Rushdie, Irshad Manji, Taslima Nasrin, Asra Noman, Tarek Fatah, etc., are openly hostile to Muslims who practice Islam. These secularists are the dregs of Muslim society who are alienated from Islam and who support the ways of the "slave masters." They are often used by anti-Islam establishments, particularly the Zionist media, who provide them massive publicity to help create an impression of great influence.

However, we as humble servants of Allah, should not be disturbed by abusive attacks coming from these dregs of society. Islam is much too powerful to be weakened by any kind of abuse, direct or indirect. Even the masters of these people, the Zionists themselves, have striven around the clock, 24/7, after 9.11, to turn the American and European masses against Islam but to no avail. In fact the daily ranting and raving against Islam [under the heading of "terrorism"] has brought Islam into every home. More Christians have embraced Islam after 9.11 than ever before. Osama must be smiling to himself somewhere in his cave. [You know that the first wahy also came in a cave.]

We should pay attention to the condition of "secularist" enclaves within Muslim countries. About 5 to 10% of the people in Muslim countries, who got their education in western-style colleges and universities, believe that western civilization is superior to that of Islam. These 5 to 10% are also the ones who are able to send their children and relatives to America and Britain. Thus a nexus is created through immigration between Muslim countries and Muslim immigrants in the West who think that Muslim civilization is inferior to the West.

One very personal example of this sense of inferiority is exhibited by the males in this grouping who all SHAVE their facial hair so that they may look as nearlly as possible like Europeans. They also wear western style clothing to work, including the [coat and] tie which symbolizes the cross.

The situation is further complicated by the rise of Islamic reform movements which appeal to secularized Muslims and attempt to bring them back into Islam as a COMPLETE WAY of LIFE. Iqbal [in India], Abul Ala' Maudoodi [in Pakistan], Syed Qutb [in Egypt], Hasan Turabi [in Sudan] Usman Dan Fodio's students [in Nigeria] and Ali Shariati and Imam Khomeini [in Iran] were the most successful of these reformers. They helped the western-educated Muslims to realize that Islam can solve ALL problems and is not a private religion.

In America, the same role was played by Malcolm X [al-Hajj Malik Shabazz] who was looking for a way out of the racial malaise which plagues this continent. Now with people like Imam Jamil al-Amin we have a continuation of Malcolm's mission but more overtly following the Sunnah of Muhammad [peace and blessings be on him].

We should look at most secularized Muslims as our brothers and sisters who have not understood Islam fully owng to the power of the paganistic culture which surrounds us. The more we spread the teachings of the Qur'an and the Hadith, the easier it will it be for our brothers and sisters to break the chains of mental slavery.

A massive prostitution ring allegedly operated by two Israeli nationals out of Palm Springs, California, was dismantled, and authorities said it had "employed" 240 women in four US states. Police seized 15 computers and five million dollars in unspecified assets from the homes of Boaz Benmoshe, 44, and Ofer Moses Lupovitz, 43, who face charges of pimping, pandering, perjury, loan fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, and grand theft, Riverside County Sheriff Bob Doyle told reporters. Authorities say the suspects used the money to fraudulently secure loans for million-dollar homes around the Coachella Valley.

Calling human trafficking one of the greatest human rights abuses of our time, Canadian journalist and social activist Victor Malarek addressed the Jewish community at a Montreal synagogue. Do you know PROF. DR. STEPHEN SZABO? He teaches at Johns Hopkins University. What is his background ? He wrote an article in favor of Israel and was published by Zaman Newspaper in Turkey. This Newspaper is owned by Fethullah Gulen. Remember that F. Gulen is mentioned in the Rand Report as a modern religious leader. He has many schools in the USA and around the world. His schools and religious ideas are supported by Zionists. In fact, he is advancing a new kind of Islam "Turkish Islam." He ordered his followers not to deal with Arab Muslims. I heard that in their charter schools (Charter schools receive $6000 or $7000 from the state for each student) they do not want black students. Privately, their Turkish teachers and administrators made remark such as "blacks are like animals."

I was vice president of their school board and when I heard from a reliable Muslim the above comment, I resigned from their board.

Remember that I told you that this group should be analyzed. I sent you a study about this group a few days ago. If you can make a study as a non -Turkish Muslim that study will be unbiased and will carry great credibility. This group is more dangerous to Islam than MSA, ISNA or CAIR. This group is in a prime position to change many Islamic concepts in favor of Zionists.
