Jamaat al-Muslimeen News [4 items]
P.O. Box 10881
Baltimore, MD 21234
1. The government has stopped the weekly visits of
AHMED 'ABDEL SATTAR's
family to the imprisoned Egyptian-American political prisoner.
For five weeks there have been no visits.
The government seems to be preparing to inflict a heavy penalty on
Ahmed 'Abdel Sattar.
2. The ADL, a heavily funded Jewish organization, is attacking a speech
Minister Farrakhan gave on February 25 in Chicago.
On March 2, O'Reilly [on FOX TV] also attacked Minister Farrakhan's
speech which was reportedly about Jewish influences in America..
[New Trend is studying the speech.]
3. An informative large-sized postcard depicting
Imam Jamil al-Amin on one side of the card and
Prof. Sami al-Arian on the other is being distributed
by Jamaat al-Muslimeen. On February 24, the card was given to
67 people at a masjid on the east side of Baltimore, Maryland
where most of the worshippers are Arabs. The card gives brief
but comprehensive information about the two political prisoners.
4. David Irving, Austria's political prisoner, in an
interview from the prison near Vienna, told a British media
person, that there is no documentation of the claim that Hitler
ordered the extermination of the Jews. British papers are saying
that owing to this new statement, Irving's imprisonment may be
extended further. We protest this shameful act of repression
against a great scholar and researcher. The Europeans have
been publishing caricatures of the best of men, Muhammad, pbuh,
in the name of freedom of expression, yet they will not allow
Jewish stories about the 'holocaust' to be examined critically.
Brief but Important News:
India:
March 2, 2006. President Bush has come to an agreement with
India to develop India's nuclear power. India will not have to
sign the non-nuclear proliferation agreement.
March 1: On President Bush's arrival, India's Muslims organized
a protest demonstration in New Delhi which was of historic
dimensions. According to conservative estimates carried by western
observers, at least 100,000 Muslims participated in the rally against Bush.
Pakistan:
March 1: Pakistani military forces claim that they killed 30 to 45
Islamic fighters, including a Chechen leader, in a strike in
North Waziristan, 7 km from the Afghan frontier.
Pakistani helicopter gunships and elite troops carried out
the attack. The report is diffcult to verify. People on the
ground say that civilians were hit. According to one report,
a missile from a helicopter hit a civilian bus killing a
Pakistani woman and injuring 15 passengers.
March 2: In Karachi, a martyrdom operator in a car
hit a vehicle carrying 3 U.S. diplomats at the American
Consulate's gate. One of the diplomats, his Pakistani driver
and a Pakistani paramilitary officer were killed. The fate of
the other two diplomats is not clear. At least 50 other people
were injured. The blast from the attack blew out the windows
of the Marriott hotel next door and set afire 20 cars parked
behind the hotel, resulting in a secondary explosion.
The Muslim anger at the cartoons of the sublime Messenger of
Allah, pbuh, published in European papers, has reached the
interior areas of Pakistan. For the first time in history,
several thousand women demonstrated in the town of
Lasbela [Baluchistan], calling for the death of the
Danish cartoonist. The speakers, from Baluchistan's Jamaate
Islami, including a woman, at the rally called for a boycott
of all Jewish goods and that Pakistan's ambassador to Denmark
be withdrawn.
March 3: The ENTIRE country is in the grip of a general strike
on the appeal of Islamic groups led by the Islamic coalition, the
MMA, to protest the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh,
in European countries. The leader of the Islamic movement, Qazi
Hussain Ahmed, is still under arrest.
IRAQ:
According to the morgue in Baghdad, 1300 bodies were
brought in DURING the curfew. It appears that the curfew was
used as a cover to slaughter Sunnis all over Baghdad. Sources
say that the killings were probably carried out on the orders
of Shi'a religious leaders, because the Shia are muqallidin
[followers] and act only when ordered by their religious
authorities. After the curfew was lifted, Sunnis launched a
series of counterattacks killing 29 Shias.
KASHMIR:
March 2: An Islamic group known as Hizbul Mujahideen
ambushed a unit of the Indian army called the Rashtriya Rifles,
in the remote Taral area, killing 4 Indian troops and wounding
5. Earlier on March 1, the same group killed 5 Indian troops
and wounded 4.
New Trend's Germany Watch
Why Did Germany betray Saddam Hussain?
Israel's Holocaust Propaganda Helps to Enslave Germany and Austria:
Germany Gave Saddam's Defense System to the U.S.
Few Muslims understand that Germany's rulers [along with Austria],
are second only to the United States in providing finance,
weaponry and propaganda support to Israel . Now it turns out
that Germany was also involved in the destruction of Saddam
Hussain's defense structure. It provided crucial intelligence
to the U.S. forces which attacked Baghdad. The question arises: WHY?
Germany [along with Austria] is a slave nation. Seemingly an
advanced, modern democracy, Germany is at the beck and call
of International Jewry and Israel. The "holocaust" story, the
myths of Auschwitz, Babi Yar and other horrors have been used
to make the German people feel that they are a worthless,
criminal people who should spend all their energies to
appease the Jewish entity.
Whatever his faults, President Saddam was the only ruler in
the Middle East who dared stand up to Israel. Hence he had
to be removed. The American Left cannot face this fact and
tries to claim that America's desire for oil was the cause
of the war, an absurd argument because America already has
the entire oil of the Middle East at its disposal. Ever heard
of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain. Guess who
controls their oil?
Now the documentation is available, revealed by the Zionists
themselves who have used up Bush and are in the process of
dumping him. Here are excerpts from the British paper, the
Guardian, March 1:
"A classified US military study states categorically that
the Germans provided details about Saddam Hussein's plans
for the defence of Baghdad. Since the spy issue first arose
last month, the Berlin government has been repeatedly forced
on the defensive. It issued a denial yesterday.
"The study, which reconstructs Saddam's military strategy,
was prepared in 2005 by the US Joint Forces Command. It says
that two German agents based in Baghdad gained access a month
before the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003 to a sketch,
covered in clear plastic, showing the proposed defensive
lines for Baghdad, and that a German intelligence officer
based in Qatar handed it to US intelligence. The sketch is
identified as a plan presented at a meeting of Saddam and
his senior commanders in December 2002.
"The US military study is explicit about Germany's role. It
says: "The US obtained the sketch on Feb 03. The overlay
[plastic sheet] was provided in February to the German Intel
LNO [liaison officer] in Qatar, who provided it to DIA's
[the Defence Intelligence Agency's] rep in Centcom Forward...
DIA forwarded it to Centcom J2 [the intelligence division] in Feb."
"The revelation undermines a German official report last week
intended to end the controversy. That report said German
agents had provided some intelligence, but suggested that it
was very limited and dealt mainly with humanitarian and
religious sites at risk from US air raids."
Analysis of America's Parasite
ISRAEL'S SACRED TERRORISM * Attempts to force Hamas to Submit
by Edward Miller, San Rafael, California [Veteran New Trend Contributor]
* Title of a book by Livia Rosach, who in 1980 translated
excerpts from the Sharett diary. Moshe Sharett's was Israel's
first foreign minister, and its second prime minister (1954-1955).
Washington supports democracy and democratic movements, unless,
of course, the "wrong party" or "wrong leader" happens to win.
Bush applauded the election campaign for parliament in Lebanon,
until he discovered that Hezbullah (Party of God) had captured
seats in the "Resistance-Development Bloc." Washington then
blew a fuse, questioned the election results while demanding
Hezbullah "disarm".
Washington also applauded last year's elections in Iran
(described by international observer teams as "open and fair")
until on November 27th, 2005 when Iran's new and hard-line
president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, denounced Western pressure to
curb its nuclear program, saying: "You, who have used nuclear
weapons against innocent people, who have used uranium ordnance
in Iraq, should be tried as war criminals in courts." Adding
to the media bru ha ha was Ahmadinejad's questioning of the
6 million Holocaust death figure, and his vocal support for
an end to the Israel State whose leaders had, for months,
been threatening to bomb his Country.
The latest Washington "democracy upset" was the overwhelming
victory of Hamas on January 26th, 2006, which Palestinian
election results again threw Washington into a tizzy. The
outcome was especially troubling to Bush and company,
because of the secret US involvement in that political
process, revealed in a January, 2006 Bush Press Conference as follows:
QUESTION: " Mr. President, the U.S. government has spent
about $2 million to help promote the Palestinian Authority
in the lead-up to this week's elections. I wonder, sir, whether
you feel like it's consistent with your push to spread
democracy around the world if the U.S. puts its thumb on
the scale? …. THE PRESIDENT: " I talked to Secretary Rice
about the story that you're referring to, and what she told
me was, is that this money was part of a USAID package that
had been in the pipeline for a while. The -- kind of
allegation or the insinuation that we were funding a
political effort just simply isn't the case, as far as
I can tell. QUESTION: " Why, then, not disclose the USAID
involvement?" THE PRESIDENT: It is disclosed -- you just
disclosed it." (Laughter).

In not one of these three cases, Lebanon, Iran or Palestine,
has either the security, or vital economic interests of the
United States really been threatened. Washington's noisy
and public "stamps of disapproval" have rather been that
of a puppet, speaking for its puppet- master, Zionist Israel,
our client state, which has been forced to acknowledge
before the world that its army had been kicked out of
Lebanon by Hezbullah, that its atomic hegemony in the region
is being threatened by Iran, and that its savage and illegal
occupation of the Palestinian's homeland will certainly be
made more precarious by a people now politically united
under Hamas leadership.
Hamas is basically a social service organization, born
of the Intafada, whose military wing had been both
supported and armed by Israel to counter Arafat's PLO,
which organization, under the control of the United
States, the European Union, Russia and UN Secretary
General Kofi Annan, was being dragged through an endless
game in which Arafat and his Palestinians were required
to repeatedly jump through hoops to prove their worthiness,
while no pressure was ever applied to Israel to end its
confiscation of land and expansion of settlements.
( see Ali Abunimah, The Electronic Intifada, 26 January 2006)
Israel's response to the Hamas win has been that of arrogant
colonial occupier. As reported in the Israeli press by
Gideon Levy: (Haaretz 19 Feb.):
" The Hamas team had not laughed so much in a long time.,
Headed by the prime minister's advisor Dov Weissglas and
including the Israel Defense Forces chief of staff, the
director of the Shin Bet and senior generals and officials,
convened for a discussion with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni
on ways to respond to the Hamas election victory. Everyone
agreed on the need to impose an economic siege on the
Palestinian Authority. Weissglas provided the punch line:
"It's like an appointment with a dietician. The Palestinians
will get a lot thinner, but won't die," the advisor joked,
and the participants reportedly rolled with laughter."
The Israeli government's new plans for economic terrorism
against its captive population are gradually unfolding"
In the last United Nations report, published in December
2005, 37 percent of the Palestinians had difficulties
obtaining food and 54 percent of the residents of the
"liberated" Gaza Strip cut back the amount of food they
consume. Child mortality had risen by 15 percent and the
average unemployment rate reached 28 percent. To travel
in the West Bank, Palestinians now have to traverse no
fewer than 397 checkpoints. The Israeli public fears news
of the spread of Palestinian hunger only because of a
possible world' reaction, not because of the bestiality it represents.."
The Assoc Press, Feb. 17 listed additional measures Israel
will consider against the Palestinian Authority after Hamas
takes control of the legislature: Preventing commercial
cargo from entering or leaving the Gaza Strip via Israel,
the outlet for nearly all Gaza's current trade - and freezing
the transfer of the roughly $55 million in taxes and customs
royalties Israel collects on behalf of the Palestinian
Authority each month. Israel will… pay to itself about
$75 million in debts the Palestinians owe to Israel's
electricity and water companies and Israeli hospitals.
Meanwhile on the ground, the economic terrorism of the
Occupation becomes more evident: On February 16th, 2006
the Israeli Defense Ministry recommended barring the
passage of Palestinians between the West Bank and Gaza
Strip and prohibiting Gazan laborers from entering Israel .
The Army Radio reported that the ministry would recommend
turning crossings between Israel and Gaza into international
borders, thus further encumbering Gazans' movements, and on
February 13th Amira Hass, Haaretz Correspondent reported
that: " While the international community had busied itself
with the disengagement from the Gaza Strip, Israel had
completed (Sharon's wall) sealing off the eastern sector
of the West Bank, including the Jordan Rift Valley, from
the remainder of the West Bank. Some 2,000,000 Palestinians,
residents of the West Bank, are now prohibited from entering
the area, which constitutes around one-third of the West Bank,
and includes the Jordan Rift, the area of the Dead Sea
shoreline and the eastern slopes of the West Bank mountains."
Meanwhile, violent terrorism against the indigenous
Palestinian population continues daily. On Feb 17th a
Palestinian schoolboy was shot in his school bus, and a
33yr woman shot dead while herding sheep. " On Feb 19th
"Israeli troops shot dead two Palestinians during
confrontations with stone throwers in the West Bank
refugee camp of Balata today, witnesses and medics said.
Soldiers searching for suspected militants came across
stone-throwing youths and opened fire. Two 18-year-olds
were killed. A third youth was wounded in the incident,
medics said." ( West Bank correspondents in Nablus,)
Terrorism against the occupied people has anothrt economic
side: Six incidents were registered , in which a total of
1,000 Palestinian olive trees were cut down. The residents
of the village of Salaam discovered 200 of their trees
chopped down. The village has lost 900 trees since May 2005.
( New Trend 28 December, 2005 ). The harvesting of olives
remains one of the few remaining economic supports of the Palestinians.
Israel has escaped paying for much of its criminal behavior
by the veto power which its client state, the US, wields in
the UN Security Council. For the past half century, informed
Americans, again and again, have experienced mixed shame and
anger, as Washington, under pressure from our Zionist lobbies,
has used its veto power to prevent international response to
Israel's repeated human rights abuses. An in-depth article
from Australia News (dated March 8th, 2003) covered 30 years
of US-UN vetoes, and listed some of the 60 such vetoes aimed
at protecting Israel, as UN Council members again and again
condemned her abuses of a captive Palestinian population. A
select few from the list of vetoed Resolutions are self-explanatory:
1972, condemns Israel for killing hundreds of people in Syria
and Lebanon in air raids; 1973, calls on Israel to withdraw
from the occupied territories; 1979, calls for return of all
inhabitants expelled by Israel; 1979, demands Israel desist
from human rights violations; 1981, 18 resolutions condemning
Israel's bombing of Iraq, and human rights abuses of the
Palestinians; 1982, calls on Israel to withdraw from the
Golan Heights; 1982, condemns Israel's invasion of Lebanon;
1995 affirms that land in East Jerusalem annexed by Israel
is occupied territory. Every one of these acts represents
Israeli terrorism.
In many ways Israel today has morphed into the fascist state
of which Albert Einstein and other prominent American Jews
warned Americans in that famous 1948 NewYork Times full-page add:
Backed by a political-industrial base, Israel still
occupies parts of Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank.
With no designated geographical border, no constitution,
and no bill of rights, she hosts a supreme court that
waltzes in step with her military. Her political behavior
at home is apartheid, treating as a second-class her
Palestinian citizens, Ethiopean Jews and much of her
Sephardic Jewish population. Because she has avoided
most of the social and economic requirements demanded
of an occupying power by the Geneva Convention (which
Israel signed) the UN, Hamas and many NGO's have
taken on this burden.
All, however, is not gloom. There are many Israelis, as
well as American Jews, with a social conscience who are
fighting the system. Recently, the chair of the
Democratic Choice faction in Israel's Yahad Party,
criticized what he termed "an apartheid regime in
the occupied territories," adding: "The policy of
apartheid has also infiltrated sovereign Israel,
and discriminates daily against Israeli Arabs and
other minorities. The struggle against such a fascist
viewpoint is the job of every humanist." and former
Israeli education minister, Shulamit Aloni, stated
( 1 Feb 2006 ) that Israel commits war crimes,
"utilizes terror" and is "no different from racist
South Africa." I can show you Mussolini's books
about fascism. If you read them you'll reach the
unequivocal conclusion that ministers in the
current Israeli government are walking on the same
path." Many Israelis are sensitive to foreign critics
such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu who commented: "I've
been very deeply distressed in my visit to the Holy Land;
it reminded me so much of what happened to us black people
in South Africa. Have our Jewish sisters and brothers
forgotten their humiliation? Have they forgotten the
collective punishment, the home demolitions, in their
own history so soon.? "
There is also hope for a kinder, more decent Israel amongst the
younger generation of Jews, many of whom are today studying in
the US. The ISRAELI PROJECT, a Zionist propaganda initiative,
devoted to educating press and public about Israel, recently
carried out "face-to-face group interviews with almost 150
randomly selected Jewish students under age thirty attending
the top graduate schools in America - The surprising conclusion,
repeated dozens of times over, was:
"Students.. are turning against Israel…Never.. has there
been more outspoken opposition .. to the basic principles
and tenets of Israel. If the current attitudes are not
reversed, America's core commitment to - and alliance with
- Israel may not survive"
" To be pro-Israel is unpopular
and socially unacceptable on campus".
Virtually every student interviewed said he or she had
drifted away from Israel and toward the Palestinian point of view.

Perhaps the world IS changing, and we can finally get this
parasite off our payroll. Both countries would benefit from
a less dependent relationship.
